In a Strict Sense, I’m Not a Good Person

After a long time, Rope came back to his senses and said in embarrassment, "Sorry you two, I got carried away."

Ice and Vision gazed at him without saying anything.

Rope scratched his head in embarrassment, then organized himself, lightly thundered please his voice, then said, "I heard what you two were just talking about. I know it's not gentlemanly behavior to eavesdrop on other people's conversations. Good thing I'm not much of a gentleman either..."

He looked at the two women whose faces hadn't changed much and continued, "Actually, if you two really want to join League, you can. I can make the call on that. As long as you have enough merit and have not killed anyone, then you can be cleared with me."

As he said this, he stared intently at Ice and Vision, obviously waiting for them to speak.

Ice and Vision were silent for a moment, then Ice spoke, "We haven't directly killed anyone..."

[Good one for not directly killing...]

Rope lamented the words of Ice, a woman of words.

It's really a matter of whether someone is dead or not. It's not a problem if you can get it back.

[So I'm really not worthy to stand shoulder to shoulder with Red and the others... I'm not really a good person in the strictest sense of the word...]

Rope's face had a darker look, but it was more determined, in his eyes. Not every bad guy can't be forgiven.

But actually that Red guy had also briefly and joined Team Rocket, of course, it was to guard the Hoenn region. But there's no question that Red and Giovanni sympathize with each other. In that case Red's ass seems more crooked than Rope's.

But the nature is actually different...

Compared to someone like Rope who can use whitewashing others as a bargaining chip to wipe away all their sins. Red is really just the good guy.

Rope, on the other hand, he knows his situation, but he's not going to change his stance either. He believes he's doing what he's doing to make the world a better place, too.

Essentially the same thing. He's not an unscrupulous person. He has a bottom line too, it's just lower.

In a sense, he's more like the Giovanni boss that he's never met. If Rope had crossed over to Team Rocket instead of Professor Oak's backyard, maybe Rope would have been the man next to Boss Giovanni by now.

Rope's i.e. black-and-white nature could actually work anywhere.

"No problem, but I'll follow up and investigate your situation. However..." Rope's words changed as he looked at the pair of sisters in front of him and smiled, "I'll have to pay a small price for accomplishing such a whitewash, so what can the two of you bring to me?"

Vision looked at her sister, but Ice didn't look at her. Instead, she said in a cool voice, "We can provide you with information within the organization and become your undercover agent. I don't think you wouldn't be interested in this organization."

Rope smiled and didn't say anything, apparently still waiting for Ice to speak.

He was actually kinda interested in the change in Ice's voice. But come to think of it, two twin sisters might look different in terms of temperament due to many factors, but the odds were that such a thing as a vocal line wouldn't be different. It would only differ in subtle ways.

But Ice and Vision were so different that Rope had long ago surmised that Ice was really just being dainty in disguise.

How could a woman who used a seemingly feminine but actually lonely and cool woman like Froslass be the kind of person who casually entertained people with her sex?

So he looked at Ice rather maliciously, he wanted to see if this woman really had that kind of vigor. This woman would cost him a lot of effort in the matter of whitewashing. If he didn't have more fun from this woman, how could he possibly rest?

Ice looked at Rope, who hadn't said anything, and knew that he had actually heard what he and his sister had said.

"My sister and I can be tools in your hands, but please don't make us do any more of the dirty work."

As the words came out, she gritted her teeth, "I can serve you..."

That last sentence felt like it was squeezed through her teeth. And a blush as bright as the evening sun flew up on Ice's pretty face.

And just then, Vision suddenly spoke, "I will join my sister, as long as you can let us live under the sun. We can be your lovers."

Rope looked over at the sound of the voice, only to see that Vision had only a faint blush on her face, and her demeanor was generally speaking quite natural.

He raised an eyebrow, and had to say that the personalities of the two sisters were really surprising. The seemingly charming sister is actually very reserved in nature. And seemingly cold and arrogant sister, in essence, is actually a cheerful and lively, see some things as being able to use as a bargaining chip to exchange for what they need.

But it was obvious that the thing to be exchanged had to be at least something on the level of freedom...

Rope thought these two girls were really getting interesting.

"Put those aside for now, I already have a girlfriend." Rope said rather blandly.

Ice and Vision also breathed a sigh of relief, at least with these words, it meant that Rope had basically agreed to help with this deal. As for the 'already have a girlfriend' that Rope said under his breath. That was... probably believable... hell no. A man's mouth and a man's behavior were the opposite of each other in some things.

Of course, Rope could see what the sisters were thinking, and all he could do was laugh helplessly and bitterly. As a decent man, why didn't anyone trust him?

He was a good man who did what he said he would do.

Maybe, probably, should be, could be...

"Let's change the subject, Ice," He looked over at Ice, who was still blushing red, "Why did you try to attack me in the first place, and engage in that pouty, disgusting behavior? Honestly, that's what I'm more curious about."

Rope was asking the truth... he was genuinely puzzled.

"Ah, you think it's disgusting? But all the guys I've tried before have eaten it up, huh?" Ice asked, cocking his head in confusion.

Good lord, is this still a natural nerd????

Seriously, if it wasn't for Rope's passive lie detector, Rope probably wouldn't be able to tell whether this woman was really telling the truth or acting...

[A natural born actress, this woman...]

Rope shook his head inaudibly.

But he also had no intention of looking deeper. As he looked at the pair of sisters in front of him who had completely subverted his persona, he suddenly felt that he was in big trouble...

These two guys, who were already like this in front of themselves... could they really trust anyone else?

He sighed lightly.

[Take a step and see what happens.]

"Then next, you two return according to the original plan. I'll tell Lance about your undercover identities, and from now on I'll be directly responsible for the intelligence on you. And once something happens to me, you guys will go directly to Lance, he knows your identities and my promise and will give you what you need."

Rope looked at the two sisters whose looks were obviously a bit complicated and gave a smile, "I'll do what I say, and since you've become my men, I'll do my best to keep you safe.
