Ghost’s Hobby

Rope and the others didn't have a very good dinner.

Knowing that they might have enemies on their side was no way to make this meal taste good, and even with Rope's cooking, they were all still wary of any attacks that might come their way.

Rope didn't discourage them, because it was good to be vigilant.

In the wilderness, even the strongest person must be careful.

As the saying goes, it's easy to hide from open fire, but it's hard to guard against secret arrows In case they were attacked by someone, then there would be no good fruit to eat.

"But you guys don't have to be so careful."

Rope looked at Whitley and the others who were cautious to the point where they could be described as windy, and also said with a smile on his face.

"Rope, absolutely no sloppiness!" Whitley said seriously as he set up the traps and then raised his head to look at Rope's face.

"Fine, fine, you continue you continue." Rope couldn't be persuaded and could only raise his hands in surrender.

But turning around and thinking about Whitley still having this vigilance is also really not easy. After all, when you follow Rope on a trip, safety is basically something you don't need to worry about.

Rope whistled and placed an extra portion of the curry rice he had cooked earlier on the edge of the pot.

Whitley wiped a handful of sweat from his head and walked over to Rope and sat down, Rope handed over a bottle of water, Whitley took it and gulped it down.

"Drink slowly, no one is taking it from you." Rope pulled out a bottle of water for himself then slowly drank it.

On the other side of the room the little ones were going through various preparations.

Entei was rather calm. After all, just like Rope, he didn't think that the other party was too strong so he couldn't detect it.

Even if the opponent was the strongest Ghost-type Pokémon, Giratina, the current Entei was confident that he would be able to detect Giratina's presence when she approached.

In the current situation, then, that Pokémon in the shadows, most likely wouldn't be too strong in battle.

There were gains and losses, Arceus was fair, if a Pokémon had such a perverted hiding ability and a very strong fighting ability, it was... well, it could only be called a genius.

Entei's seemingly flabby form couldn't help but tighten, then shook his head...

Rope smiled helplessly at the sight. He didn't really know what kind of mental struggle Entei had gone through before choosing to take it seriously.

But he did have a bare guess at the answer to the question.

"Rope? What are you doing with this curry here?"

Whitley asked suspiciously as she looked at the side of the pot of curry in front of her and the half pot of curry left in the pot.

She'd been puzzled before as to why Rope would purposely make so much extra curry, and then multiply it out a special serving only to end up not eating it.

Rope smiled and didn't make a sound.

Whitley's mouth twitched as if he'd thought of something, "No way, the guy who didn't even sense the exact location of you and Entei would follow us all the way for this?"

It wasn't much of a problem to say that they had followed them all the way, according to their footing, they would be able to walk out of this forest first thing in the morning. Then there was a small village and town, and after a day or so of walking they would reach Vermillion City.

If it's normal that this guy doesn't usually leave his territory, then the odds are that they won't see each other again when they get out of the forest in the morning...

"Hard to say... after all, that's how Charmeleon, aka Charmander came to be back in the day... and the little cute guy was stupid enough to keep watch for me all night..."

Rope said with a smile, but before he could finish, a blue-white flame struck behind Rope.

Completely unperturbed, Rope transformed himself into a flame then engulfed the blue-white flame in its entirety, turned his head and looked at Charmeleon, whose flames on his tail turned blue-white due to his shyness, and said with a serious face, "Eh, it looks like the flames of Charmander's lineage have shyness and other emotions that can be inspired in addition to anger itself. Provided his embarrassing history is shameful enough."

Charmeleon can't wait to run this asshole over with a Dragon Rush right now...

Too bad this guy can't hit even with Dragon Rush...

Charmeleon can only give Rope a big glare before sulking back to ignoring the guy.

Rope smiled as Whitley looked helplessly at the child-like Rope.

But Rope's skin and habit of revealing people's black history was fairly restrained. At least it doesn't bring out the real ones that have done wrong.

This level of black history could only be described as a joke.

So that's not too bad.

Growlithe laughed merrily as well. After all, he and Charmander had known each other even before Rope. Back when they were in Mayor Bell's house, they were hardened brothers, and as it turned out, the two guys were still hardened brothers under Rope's command.

It is also a destiny...

He is also laughing Charmeleon is angry, a slap hard on Growlithe's buttocks. Growlithe, however, as if there is no feeling, and even laugh louder...

Charmeleon is really helpless Growlithe and Rope one isn't afraid to fight, one can't fight, and both are two unscrupulous guys...

Why is this team still surviving until now ah!

Tired, Destroy It.JPG

On the other side Whitley, Entei and Chimchar were all smiling even though they didn't know much about all this.

"Okay, okay, stop laughing and get ready for bed. If the other side shows up tonight that's good, if they don't it's not too late for us to be on our guard."

Rope said as he got up, stretched, and then said.

Whitley and the Pokémon all relaxed quite a bit after the joke as well, then each sought their own spot then went to sleep.

After watching them get ready for bed, Rope smiled and walked over to his tent.

He paused at the side of the tent, and he turned around, looking at the pot and the curry on the side of the pot.

Not a moment later, Rope suddenly opened his mouth and shouted, "Wash your own dishes!"

He said, and then walked into his tent.

Lights out, sleep...

And not far away in the shadows, a purple-black ball of mist emerged from the shadows of the trees, a turquoise flame burning at his side, and stifled a tear from his mouth as he looked at the CURRY meal on the side of the campsite.

He looked around cautiously before diving into the shadows once more.

The moon was a bright star, and the bright moonlight reflected the shadows of many trees, and this empty camp was crisscrossed with various shadows.

And there was the shadow of a tree right next to the pot and the rice.

A little turquoise-colored ghostly fire floated on the ground, and while the wind did not move, the fire danced, veering a little to the left and a little to the right.

Then the purple ball emerged from the shadows.

It also finally revealed itself in the moonlight.

As expected, it was a Gastly...

Saliva continued to drip from the corners of Gastly's mouth as he looked around once more, visibly relieved at the sight of Rope's tent, the life force in this human was exuberant and active in his senses, stronger than the most powerful Pokémon he had ever seen.

It was worth mentioning... the strongest Pokémon he had ever seen was also in this camp, and yes, it was that Entei...

This was the group of people who had come to refresh Gastly's view of the world...

Thinking of the Entei, Gastly looked that way once again before the corners of his mouth were paused for a moment, but quickly resumed its flowing state.

Entei was terrifying, as fiery and exuberant as the life force in that human.

But that human slept, but Entei didn't...

In Gastly's perception, Entei was still awake, just pretending to be asleep...

Although Gastly didn't understand the point of Entei pretending to be asleep, after all, even after he had shown up, he didn't see Entei come to find his own trouble.

But if you can't understand something, don't think about it too much!

He had been looking forward to this plate of curry for a day, even if he died, he had to be a full of dead ghosts...

Er, it's already a ghost... that's fine...

Of course, this is a joke, although the Ghost-type Pokémon is indeed capable of controlling the power of the Ghost, and there are some Pokémon who can control the power of the Ghost, and some Pokémon can control the power of the Spirit World and the Human World. mon are able to travel between the spirit world and the human world and the shadows.

But they're still creatures. At least most of them are...

There are still differences between them and real ghosts, such as the fact that they can die...

So at this point, Gastly could really be described as fearless.

He opened his mouth wide and swallowed the entire plate in one gulp.

Then his body moved and the not-so-clean plate leaked out of his body.

The CURRY rice on top was gone.

Gastly, on the other hand, was chewing with a face of enjoyment, and wanted to shout loudly, but then thought that he should still keep his voice down, or at least not wake up the cook while he was sleeping again.

"Woo~ (yummy!!!)"

Then he buried his whole self in the pot off to the side.

He Gastly actually kind of an insatiable ghost?

You're a good judge of ghosts!

Eating from the bowl and looking into the pot, isn't that the basic skill and state of a foodie?

Entei squinted his eyes and looked at the happily eating Gastly over there, his mind filled with doubts...

This guy was obviously eating right there, why couldn't his perception ability still sense him?

If it wasn't for the fact that he could sense Charmeleon, who wasn't asleep, and Chimchar, Growlithe, Mushroom, and Whitley, who were already asleep, he would really have to question his perception skills.

As for Rope? he really couldn't sense Rope, he could only perceive a fire in Rope's place.

This was normal, ever since he and Rope officially concluded the relationship between Trainer and Pokémon, there was no way for him to clearly perceive Rope.

Because Rope was already stronger than him...

There was one thing to be said for Entei, he had already lived for many years and had seen many outrageous human geniuses. Not to mention far away, they had seen it from afar when Red was traveling back in the day.

After all, their Three Beasts' biggest task was to help Big Sister Ho-Oh pick the spokesperson, Aura Hero...

Of course, Rope didn't count because Big Sister didn't win Rope over to her own hands because she didn't beat the other bigwigs in the distribution of benefits after the big event.

It's normal though, the very reason Rope is considered a free agent right now is that no one disliked anyone during their secret rivalry.

However, having just finished a big drive, it really wasn't appropriate for them to fight again either.

Otherwise they would be checked by Arceus one by one on the water meter...

Speaking of which, it's really miserable or the x-gods, y-gods and the sword and shield dogs.

They don't even have the qualifications to participate in the big event and then distribute the benefits.

And Rope, the best candidate for spokesperson, was supposed to have the biggest benefit but it turned out to be because no one wanted it, and then no one could get it.

Even Rayquaza, who doesn't need a spokesperson to walk the earth, wanted to get in on the action. Imagine Rope's appeal to these guys.

While Entei was thinking about it, Gastly had already finished her meal and burped.

Satisfied, satisfied! This cook's cooking is really good.

Gastly's body was flipping in the air, Entei didn't know whether it was his own illusion or not, he always felt that this Gastly's whole ghost had become a little bit rounder.

Gastly turned in the air for a while, and then stopped, his head recalled the cook's words, "Wash the dishes yourself!"

Heh!

The corner of Gastly's mouth lifted up in a sneer.

Just kidding, he, Gastly, wouldn't listen to the orders of a mere cook.

He then loaded the pots and pans into his body and floated in the direction of the river.

He wasn't a wimp, he just wanted to be a ghost with a conscience...

Entei looked at this Gastly who really didn't seem threatening. Then he stretched out his paw to stop Charmeleon who was ready to follow.

It's not a good night to make a sound, so Charmeleon passed Entei a puzzled look.

Entei gives him back a look of relief. He was already basically convinced of Rope's judgment.

Moreover, he felt that Rope was bound to have his own ideas.

After all, this Gastly was really a very special Gastly...

If it could really become a partner, then he thought that it would still be a very good addition to the team.

Thinking about it Entei glanced at Rope's tent.

What do you think, Rope?

Entei knew that Rope probably did have thoughts about this Gastly, but what exactly was his attitude... Entei couldn't guess.

The Gastly by the river is also thinking about where he is going to go from here.

————————

The next day, Rope looked at the clean pots and pans and put a smile on his face. a smile.

Whitley also got out of his tent and rubbed the dark circles under his eyes.

Although she had fallen asleep last night, she had not been able to sleep peacefully because her mind was restless.

Instead, she was more tired than staying up all night between half-asleep and half-awake.

Whitley, who drilled out of the tent, yawned, and then saw Rope, who had an energetic face.

"I say... is your heart that big? Still able to sleep..."

"What's this, what scene haven't I seen before. There's no danger if you follow me."

Rope said with a smile.

Of course he wasn't afraid, not to mention he had confidence in his judgment.

He still had some means of saving his life at hand as well.

"Don't you see that Entei sleeps well too?"

Entei rolled his eyes as he looked at Rope who pointed at him.

That is, he didn't know if Rope had slept last night or not, so he couldn't open his mouth to retort.

And Whitley was still too naive, too.

Just with Rope's current physique, it wouldn't be a problem for him to go three or five days without sleep.

So did Rope sleep or not sleep last night?

Of course Rope didn't sleep, how could he be that big-hearted.

So Rope felt that looming aura in the shadows by the tree and smiled slightly.

"Let's go, out of the forest today!"
