A New Beginning

"When are you two planning to have an engagement party?"

Surrounded by the three elders, Rope and Cynthia glanced at each other and spoke seriously, "The two of us have discussed it, and we're planning to wait until this period of time, when things are all wrapped up before we have an engagement party. And there's still the engagement ring and stuff to get ready, and it's all pretty time-consuming stuff, too."

Professor Carolina nodded and said, "It's good to be cautious. There are indeed quite a few things to prepare. And your engagement party should be a bit lively."

Hearing Professor Carolina talk about this, Professor Oak couldn't help but recall the amazing lineup of the Indigo Plateau Conference. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that half of the League's Higher Warriors had come.

You know, even the Oak family couldn't have been that big really. More people weren't coming for the Oak family or the name Professor Oak.

They just came for Rope. Whether they were craving Rope's knowledge, status, or body.

And during this period of time, not only did Rope's value not fall, but it grew higher and higher. Even those areas where he originally had little influence.

Now there were also a whole lot of clusters and people who were interested in him. This kind of engagement party was obviously not small. Even if Rope wanted it to be small, other people would still come together. It would still be ostentatious by then.

It could be thrown in a less solemn and grand manner, but in the end, it would still be a big spectacle.

"Rope you just have to have the idea yourself." Professor Carolina said lightly, "Cynthia, for her part, is full of training and various matters. All that's left is ice cream. Letting her choose a style or something would be troublesome."

Her own grandmother was of course the one who knew best about her granddaughter's bad habits, and Cynthia's difficulty in choosing was no secret amongst the Leagues, so of course Professor Carolina would know even better.

Rope smiled and nodded, but glanced at Cynthia and said, ''It's okay, I'll discuss it with Cynthia. She'll pick roughly, and I'll cut the scope."

The implication was naturally that it would be based on Cynthia's preferred style.

So naturally, as an elder, Professor Carolina nodded with satisfaction.

Professor Oak and Granny Agatha didn't have any comments either.

Whether it was the decoration or the wedding, it was something that tested a couple's tacit understanding. This kind of clash of styles was easy to quarrel about. It's not uncommon for them to fall apart in the middle of a fight.

In a sense it is also a hurdle.

In this case, if someone is willing to make concessions, it is naturally the best choice.

Although Professor Oak was also very protective, he also knew that Rope's choice to give in was indeed a choice that a man should make. There was no point in being catty. People aren't here to be bitter rivals. Taking a step back is also a sign of respect for your significant other.

Of course, such a statement is only based on the fact that the other half also respects himself. If the other party is still aggressive at this juncture...that can only be said to be a willingness to fight, a willingness to suffer.

It's easy to meet, but it's not easy to know each other, so let's treasure it.

Professor Carolina looked at Cynthia.

Cynthia immediately said with a straight face, "Don't worry, Grandma, I won't make things difficult for Rope."

Cynthia had never liked to cause trouble for others since she was a child. The fact that she was able to indulge a little now was already a result of Rope's indoctrination. She certainly wouldn't give Rope a hard time.

"And the time shouldn't be too short, so we really don't need to rush."

Cynthia added again.

Both she and Rope still had a whole lot of things that they were not busy with right now, even if they really wanted to get engaged, it would not be right now.

Cynthia looked at the three old men in front of her whose faces were fairly normal, but the look in their eyes could all be described as frenzied, and was somewhat helpless.

Are these people already thinking of holding great-grandchildren?

There was no such thing! She and Rope hadn't thought of having children this early. After all, they were both still young as well.

It was hard to say how much energy such a thing as having a child would take up.

And even if Rope was confident that she was aware of the crisis in this world. But there was still no way to change the fact that the world was still enveloped in the shadow of destruction.

Of course, Rope would not let her child be born under such circumstances.

And only after the end of the crisis can Rope go home. Marrying and having a child without bringing Cynthia home to meet her parents...Mom and Dad will surely treat Cynthia well and teach him a hard lesson.

I also wonder what kind of face mom and dad will have when Rope leads an anime character home....

The paperweight your son calls his wife all day really is your son's wife!

As for hiding it...there's no need...

It's not like the company is some secretive organization that you have to hide your identity after joining. It's definitely okay for him to tell his parents. It's just that it can't be exposed yet because the mission to save the world hasn't been completed yet.

Rope certainly wouldn't hide it from his parents. Saving a world ah! How could one not report such an awesome thing to one's dad and mom!

The things that he had bragged about back then! I have realized it myself!

However, Rope thought that if he had stayed in the original world, he would have been able to realize the bullishness he had bragged about, so that feeling of excitement instantly dissipated.

"I see that he doesn't look very interested in strength or power...are you really sure that you can make him come to the Void?"

The Queen still carried Year's side. But this time she snuggled directly into Year's arms. These two seemed to be getting closer as well.

But Year seemed to be a bit breathless.

"I don't really care, Rope's a nice guy, but he's not my only choice, is he? There are others I could have chosen. And the big deal is that I'm just training another successor. Moreover, the Pokémon world where Rope is from is a bit of a gap."

"The starting point is a bit low, though it's not too much of a problem. But ultimately, it's still a bit of extra effort. If it wasn't for the fact that there was a Thousand Armed God hibernating in that world being able to make up for that part, I wouldn't be thinking of letting this guy come here. There are other worlds to choose from."

"The One Piece sub-world at the very beginning? It's only natural that the One Piece worlds would be able to quickly get in touch with the 'laws' of the world. It's definitely a bit better than these primary origins that those unowned laws of that world will be better."

The Queen also said thoughtfully.

Year also nodded, honestly, if it wasn't for the Empress coming to tell him about the Thousand Armed God, he wouldn't have let someone he looked up to enter a world as restrictive as Pokémon anymore.

Having a Thousand-Armed God would indeed be considered a chance.

"And Rope will always come to the Void. No matter what it was for. There will always come a time when he gets tired of being in that world, it's just a matter of sooner or later."

Year yawned, then opened his mouth somewhat helplessly and asked.

"Say, when are you going back? Doesn't the Empire side need to be managed? If you're like this, those old guys should be furious, right?"

The Empress sniffed, narrowed her eyes and smiled as she looked at Year, causing Year to shiver. Motherfucker this woman...one shouldn't have messed with this woman.

"It's okay, I've already greeted the old guys. Although I'm the emperor, it's not like the empire won't turn without me. And..."

The empress smiled more and more sweetly.Year's heart was getting flustered.

"It's about the next heir of the empire well, they are quite understandable."

The corner of Year's mouth twitched as he looked at the empress's flat belly...

"You're not thinking...until we have a child...the two of us are at too high a level of life..."

"Then take your time."

Rope didn't realize at this point that Year, the guy, seemed to be in a similar situation to himself. But he also knew that he couldn't continue to be so lazy. If he continued to be so lazy, his progress would probably be overtaken.

"Did you find Celebi?"

Rope asked Hoopa, who was gorging himself at the side.

Hoopa sniffed and swallowed everything in his mouth before saying, "There's no sign of it. You know, all the Celebi you see are actually one by one running around at various times of the day.

Rope nodded, that much he did know. Things like timelines were like their own homes to Celebi. They could jump across their home repeatedly.

A chestnut example would be a Celebi who loved a place, but the place was polluted and destroyed. It can't be used as a good place to sleep anymore.

The Celebi then goes back to this place in another timeline or point in time, when he has not yet been destroyed, and so he can continue to sleep.

But the thing that Celebi also have to be careful of is...they can't create too much of a connection with humans or other Pokémon in order to do so. After all, if they generate too much karma, they'll be bound by the timeline and the karma line. Once it disappeared. It would then create a hole in the world's patch...

Rope didn't know much, and could only guess based on the information he already had.

But Rope also frowned if Hoopa said that.

"There isn't a Celebi around at this point in time?"

Hoopa nodded seriously.

Rope felt his teeth ache, isn't that ridiculous?

Celebi were missing through and through when they could be used. By all rights there should be five or six different Celebi in this world.

But it was possible that they couldn't be found. After all, not every Celebi would stay at one point in time for long.

But...is this a normal point in time? It's time to save the world!

Rope just felt outrageous.

Rope shook his head, in that case, it couldn't be helped. It wasn't like he could force those Celebi to do him a favor. After all, Rope wasn't exactly a villain.

"So what do we do now? Do you want me to find the Celebi again? Or do you want to go straight to Palkia and Dialga?

Rope pondered for a while and shook his head, "It's better if you continue to look for them first. We're not in a hurry just yet. I'm going to look for that guy who's collecting Origin first..."

"Find him for what? Didn't you already meet that man behind the curtain?"

Hoopa asked in a somewhat puzzled opening.

It was logical that Rope should have just ordered them to swarm and finish that woman off right then and there.

Then all would be happy and the grand finale...

The problem was that Rope didn't do that.

Instead, Rope just let the other party off the hook. But if you think about it, the one who was able to easily repel Rope's Pokémon was not thought to be a simple character.

The point was...Hoopa seemed to have felt the power of the Origin in that woman's body as well.

Rope said that the power he himself wielded was a congregation of the Origin. It also says that the power sealed in the idol is also the power of the Origin.

Doesn't that mean that Arceus and Rope are using the same kind of power?

Rope's current strength...Hoopa wasn't sure, but thought it was definitely more powerful than himself. So Rope must have his own reasons for making such a choice.

Rope certainly has his own reasons. Other than that, Rope thought that the person who was observing him in Aohane's village at that time was probably that woman.

The woman was observing herself from a distance at the time, but Rope was just sensing something, but couldn't in turn observe the other person as well. For one thing, it could be that they were specialized in different directions. And secondly, it could be that Rope's strength was far inferior to the other party...

Rope didn't dare to be sure.

Or rather Rope didn't dare to gamble.

When any person had the survival of a world on his or her shoulders, he or she wouldn't be able to follow his or her heart too casually.

He did, and so did Aka.

Rope, who had suddenly empathized with Aka, suddenly felt a bit depressed.

However, this kind of melancholy didn't exist for long.

"Rope, what are we going to do next?"

Hoopa asked with some confusion.

Since he was still preparing to use Celebi to cross over, he couldn't really be idle now, could he?

Though it was also true that Hoopa kinda wanted to touch a wave of fish.

"I'm going to go ahead and get to the bottom of the negotiations between the Legendary Pokémon and the humans. That's what Mewtwo mentioned to me the other day."

Rope said seriously. He hadn't forgotten the dream he had at the beginning. In order for Pokémon and humans to really reach a reconciliation and understand each other, then communication between each other was a must.

Humans would have to negotiate with Pokémon. Especially while humans are still in a relatively advantageous position in their dealings with Pokémon.

That's where Rope's limitations come in. He had always subconsciously thought for the humans.

That was why Rope had insisted that Mewtwo represent the Pokémon side and hadn't talked to Mewtwo for so long.

Mind you, Rope was already trying to avoid suspicion as much as possible.

Rope felt that even if he defeated those who were intent on collecting divine power, this world's extinction crisis still hadn't been lifted...when humanity continued to develop in such an unorganized manner like this...the Beast war would eventually be fought once again.

As for this time, it was hard to say who would win and who would lose in a war where all the Pokémon had been pissed off and the gods had awakened.
