Rope didn't choose to cross right away...
There were still a lot of things left to be dealt with here, so Rope couldn't leave after all.
Although it was reasonable to say that nothing bad should happen on this crossing, Rope had set up a lot of things in advance as a precautionary measure.
And then it took a lot of people by surprise.
"Rope, you sure nothing happened?"
Steven had an uneasy look on his face. When Rope told him the main points of commanding Gulador, Gaioca and Rift Hollow Zodiac just now, it had startled Daigo.
It was fine, so why did it seem like he was giving his last words.
Apparently Steven wasn't the only one who felt that way, so after Rope finished explaining the necessary tasks, his calls didn't stop. The overall ghost of Lotom was on the verge of breaking down!
So Rope simply had Lotom put a video conference on the screen, but whenever anyone called, they could enter the conference room and discuss it directly.
"Sorry guys, I wasn't clear with you earlier, but I was actually planning on going back a couple decades and then figuring out what the hell is going on in these villages. Then come back and you can sort out a lot of things."
Rope's words were said very easily though. But it wasn't like there were any fools in the room, everyone was well aware of the risks of going back to the past for something like this. And decades ago...
A few days, a few hours was risky enough...
"Don't worry everyone, since I've already decided on this, there's a certain level of certainty, you don't have to worry very much."
Rope said this to everyone with a smile, but even so, everyone's mood still wasn't very light.
"Can you handle it alone? Do you want us to get someone to stay with you?"
Cynthia pondered for a moment, then spoke. Of course, everyone knew that this so-called finding someone in her mouth. It was actually herself.
The second-in-command of the entire Sinnoh, that is, Elite Four Lucian, instantly just blushed bitterly after reacting. Although the administrative work and whatnot that Cynthia dealt with on a daily basis wasn't much, it was indeed okay, but if Cynthia followed Rope to a few decades ago, then the work of the Sinnoh region would once again almost all fall on his head.
He held his eyes, though, and didn't say anything. Being a little tired himself and all that was a small matter...
Right now, for everyone, anyone could die but Rope. As long as Rope was around, humans would always have a piece of resistance capital. But if Rope was gone...
Then they might not be able to resist much when facing those gods, or those who had absorbed the origin as Rope said. It had nothing to do with beliefs or anything, it was simply a matter of strength.
If Rope were to seriously fight right now, the Pokémon he had at hand along with himself would probably have to have five or six champions out at once, so as to slow Rope and his Pokémon down and prevent them from attacking too quickly.
And someone with the same level of strength as Rope was actually still in this world right now...
None of them could understand what was going on anymore...My lord, times have really changed.
Could it be that they couldn't even breed Pokémon in the end? Do they really have to breed themselves to be able to do that?
Actually, it's not like no one has tried this method before. Like Aura Hero, Psychic and Martial Artists, they all have a whole set of methods to improve their abilities. But like I said before. Most of them, with the exception of a very few, still rely on Pokémon to fight, rather than being able to discard them. Or use Pokémon to strengthen themselves.
The price/performance ratio was just too low to be worth breeding. People are helpless too. Previously, everyone looked at the cap of Red, and no matter how horrible it was, this situation in front of them was acceptable. But this Rope guy was different all of a sudden...
It's a cap that's visible to the naked eye. But it's also a cap that one person can't finish, which can be very realistic.
"No need, I can handle it alone. I'm not even going to bring Hoopa this time. Bringing Muji Taitana and the other Pokémon will be fine."
Rope wasn't joking either. There was really no need for him to bar so many people.
This time, it was best for him to come alone.
"After all, as you all know...with things like time travel, the more people there are, the harder it is to handle instead."
What Rope said wasn't a casually made up reason either. Rather, it was a fact that everyone could think of.
Just like there were some places where it was best to just go by yourself. One more person was one more danger.
So everyone sulked and didn't say another word.
It wasn't until a few moments later that Cynthia took the lead and shook her head, sighing before looking at Rope and speaking seriously, "Come back safely."
Rope smiled a little and nodded seriously, "I will."
And so that was the end of the meeting. Everyone went about their own business. Maybe in fact, for them, Rope would either disappear for a second or two, or never reappear.
It was like opening a blind box. You don't know if you'll be able to open it with gold or oxygen...
Rope looked at his side as Celebi yawned.
She didn't care about things like time travel at all. In fact, she didn't think Rope should worry about such things either. Because Rope was a guy who could survive in the cracks of time...
He was a fire, and even in the time gap, the power of the elements was just as ubiquitous.
And as a Time Spirit Celebi, as long as the power of time and space is enough, then she will be able to bring Rope back.
And... as long as Rope doesn't die, then even if Celebi dies...
Rope would just have to find a place to stay for 63 years.
And then the next second after they crossed over, the Rope who had hidden herself for sixty-three years could also reappear.
Of course this scenario is based on the fact that something happened to Celebi.
The situation is so complicated and the possibilities so outrageous that Rope doesn't even feel like he can truly understand time. He doesn't even feel like he truly understands the Flame at this point. Let alone time and space, which he wasn't even good at.
In front of him were Daisy and the girls. On Lotom's screen was Cynthia.
They both had to watch Rope leave. And watch Rope come back too, that's their only obsession.
Of course, Rope wasn't really worried about his safety, just thinking that he wasn't going to let Cynthia and the others worry too much about themselves either.
Rope waved towards them, and so took Celebi's small hand.
Celebi looked disgusted.
"Scat, no need to shake hands."
Rope had an embarrassed look on his face, seriously, it was really the first time he had ever seen someone else dislike him.
"Ok, ok."
The crowd also looked as if they had rarely seen Rope suffer such a loss over the years. After all, Rope's own charisma is not low plus the charisma bonus brought by the world's favorites, Rope can be said to have almost no things that can't be negotiated.
But what they didn't know was that it was also Rope's charisma that had worked, or else Celebi would have cut off Rope's hand with a Flying Leaf Blade by now.
But that being said...I don't know if it was because of Rope's charm or because Celebi really couldn't beat him.
Celebi closed his eyes, and light gold and bright silver colored energy began to surge around his body. This was not an energy that belonged to attributes, so it did not exist with the attribute table.
It was the power of time and space.
Rope felt like his body was being pressed against the bottom of the deep ocean. Almost every inch of it felt an amazing pressure. However, this pressure was still within his tolerance.
Or rather, even if it was an ordinary person in the true sense of the word, it would only be slightly harder to bear, and wouldn't really be said to cause any unacceptable damage.
However, in the next instant, all the colors in front of Rope's eyes changed.
Gold and silver intertwined, light and strange, everywhere is fresh, unseen colors.
But Rope didn't have the heart to enjoy the scenery right now. Because the gold and silver colored threads gave him a huge sense of crisis.
Rope felt that amazing sense of crisis, and for a moment, his awe for space and time went to the next level.
What he had read in novels back then, that among all power systems, the power of space-time was the absolute king, such words were really not just made up by the authors of novels. They had at least made it up.
Soon, a layer of light green light covered Rope's body, like a light green tunic.
Rope subconsciously looked to Celebi who was not far in front of her. the green onion head had the same green energy on her.
But her face was a stony one that was visible to the naked eye.
"I miscalculated..."
Rope looked at the onion head in front of her, the composure on her face disappearing almost instantly.
"Holy shit, I'm chicken, don't scare me! Something's wrong!"
Rope definitely couldn't calm down.
This was something that could really kill someone. You have to know that this is not a time sandwich, this is a time and space tunnel, or a long river of time and space. This tunnel-like thing was really hard to accept.
Rope's eyes really had a trace of fear flowing out. But quickly calmed down.
"I may not be able to pinpoint the exact location on my side anymore, send you to a similar point of events and then I'll be asleep for a long time."
Rope let out a sigh of relief as well, as long as I wasn't going to be dropped off in this thing it was ok.
"That's no problem then, how much time do you think you'll need to get it done."
Rope asked again, he definitely had no problem staying over here a little longer, and if he had that time, Rope could also look at 63 years ago, all these people, all these things.
Speaking of which, if it was 63 years ago, Professor Oak was still a kid too, right?
Heh heh! It might be possible to get some kind of black history as well.
"About a month or so. Let's not talk about it for now, I'm really tired from carrying you at full strength..."
Celebi really did feel like she was dragging a huge mountain along.
She had already overestimated Rope's strength before. But now it looked like she had still underestimated Rope's strength.
But this was good for him, the stronger Rope was, the more confident Celebi would be about the fight with Mewtwo afterward.
For Celebi, whether Rope succeeded or not in things didn't mean much to her.
So Rope visibly felt his forward speed increase. It was as if they had stepped on the gas.
Rope wasn't sure if that feeling could be used to describe time.
"We're, here!"
Celebi flashed into a tunnel wall somewhere with him, and Rope literally felt like he hit the wall.
Even he turned on his elementalization. That way he wouldn't have to endure that wave in his stomach.
"Be careful on your way, I won't be able to help you with what comes next."
Celebi's weak voice reached Rope's ears. The next thing Rope knew there was a cold sensation coming from his chest.
Before Rope could react in any way, all of the light in front of him vanished into thin air.
A splash of blue appeared in front of his eyes.
That was...the sky.
Rope looked at the blue sky, and the white clouds grazing the sky. There was a moment of disorientation...had he really traveled?
But in the next instant, before Rope could think of anything philosophical to say, a sense of weightlessness appeared.
Rope felt the weightlessness, but didn't panic much, after all, he could fly. And was a flame himself. Not at all afraid of things like falling from a height.
So he even kinda enjoyed this feeling of weightlessness.
But in the very next instant, he sensed a hint of something wrong...
Damn, the vapor is so heavy!
So Rope adjusted his angle in the air, and when he was face down, he realized...
KAM! There was a big lake down there!
So Rope's fire wings instantly appeared behind him, flapping vigorously and quickly. And then flew upward as hard as he could.
The good thing was that he did stop. But the bad thing did...
For example, just as Rope gave a breath of relief, he saw this beautiful young girl in front of him...
Not to the point of taking his breath away. Youthful, vivacious, and without that touch of sadness on her brow that couldn't be wiped away yet.
Yes, this girl is Sennogi.
Sennogi looked at the boy in front of her, who was carrying wings of fire and falling from a high altitude, and recalled the prophecy she received from the priest today.
"O little Sennogi! Maybe you'll meet the one you like today!"
Sennogi tilted his head in confusion, "What kind of person is he?"
Her best friend, who was the priest, pretended to look at the crystal ball in front of her and spat out, "Who knows? Maybe it's a guy with wings!"
Sennogi returned her glare.
"And with wings! Is that a human?"
Sennogi said in a nonchalant manner.
"Wings...are you human?"
Sennogi said somewhat dumbfounded.
Looking at the young man in front of him, for the first time, he felt as if he should ask his best friend to go to Divination once more, just to divine when he would be able to get a Pokémon that would truly recognize him.
Rope looked at the young girl in front of him who felt three to five times prettier with just a little less sadness.
"I'm...human, aren't I..."
