The red sun rises. A new day begins with a Pyroar roar.
This is Sen Mizu Town.
A town sticking out of the Great Wetlands.
It thrived, prospered, and even called itself powerful.
After a roar, the silence of the town grew.
Someone yawned and pushed open the door to their home, a small money bag upside down in their hand, and walked down the street ready to find a breakfast place to buy some breakfast.
Just as the man walked on everyone, one after another appeared on the street. Some were just out to get some breakfast like he was.
Others began to set up stalls on the street. Getting ready for a busy day.
Everyone greeted the man warmly when they saw him.
The men also responded enthusiastically one by one.
There are even a lot of young and beautiful girls in the passing him, or shy and timid to say hello, or simply bowed his head, and so on in the wrong after turning back to look at two more eyes.
The man walked a short distance to the door of the breakfast store. As soon as he arrived, the door to the breakfast place opened. The owner poked his head out of it. He smiled and waved at the shopkeeper.
"Up early Shigawa."
The breakfast store owner had a big, big smile on his face.
"Haha, getting up a little earlier makes you a little more money for guys who want to be like you, Mayor!"
The store owner laughed without a care in the world.
The mayor was also dumbfounded, but he didn't care about the joke, he just smiled and threw out the money bag he had prepared, "It's still the same as before. But this time, add less sugar to the berry pie."
"Haha, you do say that every time, but Sennogi told me to add more sugar every time!"
Shigawa was obviously familiar with the mayor and Sennogi, and while collecting the money, she skillfully picked out the ones that the mayor and Sennogi always ate from the large pile of food in front of her.
Berry pie, Pecha Berry juice...
Of course the mouth wasn't idle.
The mayor skimmed her mouth and said in a nonchalant manner, "Little girl, what's the point of eating so much sweetness all day long! Be careful of getting cavities!"
While saying that, he palpitated and touched his back teeth across his cheek.
"Hahaha! I'm just afraid that you can't control other Sennogi for much longer. It's already a big girl, and in two more years it'll all be an old girl."
Shigawa said with a bright smile.
But with the next sentence, Shigawa revealed her true colors.
"That's right, Mayor, look, little Sennogi has also reached the age when she should have a family. You can't let her stay single like you."
"So what do you think of my boy? He also grew up with little Sennogi, and the two are familiar with each other, so that way you don't have to worry about Sennogi being bullied right."
The mayor heard this but laughed coldly, "I definitely know what kind of kid your family is. Planting and fishing are all good."
"But I don't make decisions about my sister's marriage. She can get married when she wants, and not get married when she wants. Marry whoever she wants. So yeah..."
The mayor said as he snatched the breakfast from Shigawa's store manager while squashing his hand that was about to send two more berry pies inside, "Don't even think about taking my side of the line. Either let your boy conquer my little Sennogi on his own with his charms, or don't even think about it."
After saying that, he turned around and left.
Shigawa was still thinking of saying something, but seeing the guy's resolute attitude, he really didn't say anything.
And with that, the mayor carried his breakfast and walked towards his house in a mixed manner.
When I came, the street was still slightly empty, but now, just buying a meal and chatting for a couple of sentences, the place was already crowded and overcrowded.
There were also a lot of people greeting the town mayor along the way.
"Yo, good morning Mayor!"
"The mayor is buying breakfast for the little princess again!"
"Haha, Mayor! You won't be able to find a wife if you're like this! Your wife will be jealous of your sister!"
And the mayor began a polite response.
"Good morning, good morning."
"That's right, my little princess definitely has to be served well!"
"Screw you, I'm single for life and I won't get together with that daughter of yours! You've got to give up on that!"
In the midst of such friendly exchanges, the mayor returned to his home.
When he got home, he set up his breakfast on a plate. Only then did he walk up to the door of one of the rooms and gently knocked on it.
"Sennogi, Sennogi! get up and eat!!!"
And with that the door opened in a flash. A pretty and lively genki girl just popped out of the door, smiling coquettishly at the mayor, "Good morning old brother!"
The mayor touched her head and said with a smile, "Why did you get up so early today?"
Sennogi smiled and said, "I have an appointment with Mizu today to check out the temple and get two more prophecies from her on the way."
The Mayor nodded and smiled, "Alright, then hurry up and go eat."
Sennogi nodded and ran to the table, then took a big bite to eat.
A cozy and simple breakfast ended just like that.
Sennogi who had finished her breakfast headed towards the center of the town, the huge temple.
The temple was just as simple, but it was also majestic in every way.
Two small rivers flowed from the center of the temple. There were quite a few Aqua Pokémon in them that leapt out of the water and greeted Sennogi.
Sennogi responded in return.
The armored warrior guarding the entrance of the temple couldn't help but smile when he saw Sennogi.
"Miss Sennogi has come.Priest Mizu is waiting for you in her room."
The warrior on the left smiled a gentle, kind smile, and he wasn't exactly young. It looked like he should be a middle-aged man.
The other one just stood without speaking, but he subconsciously straightened his back when he saw Sennogi approaching over.
Only Sennogi just politely greeted him before turning her head to the older man and speaking, "Okay, Uncle Armor, thank you!"
The uncle smiled and waved his hand at her.
Watching Sennogi walk into the temple, the older man looked at the youth on the opposite side with some contempt.
"You don't even dare to say a word, and you still have the nerve to say that you like people?"
The youth was silent for a while, then shook his head with a bitter smile, "I don't know what to say."
The older uncle was still looking at him with contempt. After all, everyone knows that as long as it's someone they like, no matter if they are shy or not, they have to ask for a contact information or something with them first.
Even if people do not like, or directly reject you, it is better than you have been in that unrequited love to the strong.
Because open up at least is possible, do not open up will only be a spectator forever.
Uncle is the past, think of their own youth in the heart left a touch of the mole. It is also inevitable to feel regret.
So he patted the youth's shoulder.
"People, always have to try themselves."
So also not talking, just silently stick to his post.
The youth on one side could see that the uncle had a story in mind.
It just didn't look like there was any intention of saying it out loud. So he also just opened his mouth and stopped asking.
Who could act so confident in front of a girl like Sennogi?
She was so cute and so good. Good family background, good looking, gentle personality, treating people in and out.
If there was someone like that who could face Sennogi comfortably, it wouldn't be him...
An ordinary shrine guard.
Thinking of this, his expression couldn't help but darken a few points again.
He didn't know much about Sennogi, and even those so-called character traits could only speak of such superficial things.
Everyone knows that people have many sides. If you could only sense the good parts of a person, then it rather meant that you didn't know that person well.
No one is perfect. As long as there are seven emotions and six desires, people cannot be perfect.
It can only be said that in someone's heart, her good points may overshadow the shortcomings, so it seems that this person is perfect.
No matter what, if you like someone, you always have to take the first step, and it doesn't matter if this first step will make a mess of yourself and doesn't make much sense.
"I'm begging you! Don't you ever come back and ask me about my marriage. I'm a priest not a roadside fortune teller!"
Mizu looked at Sennogi, who had her hands on her cheeks in front of her, blinking at her with wide eyes.
"There's nothing for me to ask otherwise! Ask me how long I'll live? (When is the grand finale of the Dragons?)"
Sennogi had an innocent face. Like a deer drinking from a stream.
Mizu's eyelids fluttered.
"Let's talk about the marriage."
Mizu helplessly placed one hand on the crystal ball and mumbled something, but it was impossible to hear what exactly was being muttered.
Not that Sennogi ever heard it clearly, anyway.
Soon enough, though, Sennogi saw something else from the crystal ball in front of him.
It was a Red-colored flame. And in the middle of the flames was a man whose face could not be seen very clearly.
Sennogi almost subconsciously went up to it.
What she didn't notice was... the current Mizu already had bean-sized beads of sweat coalescing on her forehead. She clenched her teeth, as if trying her best to see who that person was.
But in the end, she didn't see it.
Mizu's body snapped loose for a moment, then panted heavily, as if she had experienced something very exhausting. And the human form and flames in the crystal ball faded away. It disappeared without a trace.
Sennogi raised her head in confusion, then saw Mizu's tired face.
She hurried over and said with concern, "Mizu, what's wrong with you?"
Mizu shook her head and took a deep breath, then said, "Nothing major, just a little tired, and this person I saw this time..."
Mizu paused for a moment, seemingly at a loss for words.
"Handsome?"
Sennogi asked.
Mizu shook her head again, "Didn't get a good look..."
But whirling around, she realized something was wrong.
"You! Did you come to care about me just to ask me if he's handsome?!!!!"
Mizu had an annoyed look on her face. He had exhausted himself not because of this little ninny in front of him. Now that he's in this state, he actually doesn't even care about himself, but instead has his mind on that man????
Sennogi frowned with a serious face.
"How could you, Mizu, look at me like that? How could I treat my good sister like that! You actually doubt me...you love too me to be disappointed."
With that said, Sennogi scattered her hands a little angrily and turned her back to Mizu in anger.
Mizu looked at her in this serious and somewhat aggravated manner and apologized a bit, after all she did react a bit oddly. Though it still felt like something wasn't quite right about the conversation just now, so Mizu braced herself and stood up, telling Sennogi, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have doubted you."
Her strength was pretty much back now. It wasn't really too much stamina, it was simply a case of being a little overpowered for a moment.
Sennogi turned her head and frowned at her best friend for a moment before letting out a long breath, then silently said, "It's okay, you're forgiven."
Mizu still felt something was wrong, but for a moment she couldn't figure out what it was.
Then Sennogi came up and said to her seriously, "So... is he handsome or not?"
Mizu finally realized what was wrong...didn't the damned girl still want to ask if this guy was handsome or not?
But after taking a deep breath, Mizu realized that she really didn't have much to say. If she were herself...she probably would have asked the same thing.
"I really didn't get a good look, but...it should really be okay."
It was true that Mizu hadn't gotten a good look at the person's face. But judging from the overall aura and figure, that guy should indeed be okay.
Hearing that, a happy smile appeared on Sennogi's face.
Although she didn't really think that Mizu's prophecies would be accurate, after all, after so many years of being close friends, no matter what they predicted, Mizu's prophecies only had an accuracy rate of one or two percent.
And they were all just small things that didn't matter.
So to Sennogi, this was just another inaccurate prediction.
But Mizu wasn't joking this time.
She said to Sennogi with a serious face, "But Sennogi, I don't support you going to him...I really don't."
"Er, why?" Sennogi asked, speaking with some surprise.
"Do you think that kind of person surrounded by flames is really human?" Mizu had a serious face, "When I was language to him, his whole person gave me a huge pressure, as if he was being stared at by some monster."
Sennogi saw Mizu's serious face, and for a moment he didn't feel like he should be joking or not.
However, after a moment, Sennogi still spoke at Mizu's serious look, "Alright, alright. I'm not going anywhere else today, I'm just going to play over at the Lake of Hearts today. Since this guy has so many flames around him then he shouldn't be around the water."
Sennogi said seriously. Mizu also gave a sigh of relief, though still had some bad feeling. But she still nodded.
