Sennogi left the temple and wandered off towards the largest lake in town.
They were called the Sen Mizu Wetlands. That's because there are roughly hundreds and hundreds and lakes of varying sizes. The smaller ones might be better described as puddles. But the largest is big enough to be called a swamp.
There were very few people who came here. Obviously there were a lot of water-attribute Pokémon, but there were still very few trainers who would choose to come to the depths of the wetland, which was where they were now.
This was because if they were to advance from the outside of the wetland to this side, the difficulty could be said to be almost impossible. It was just...too difficult.
There was no telling how many Tenno class Pokémon they would have to encounter along the way.
For people from the outside world, it wasn't too much of a stretch to call this place a forbidden zone.
But the good thing was...for generations, when they lived here, when they went out or returned, as long as they didn't actively provoke those powerful Pokémon, those Pokémon wouldn't pay any attention to them. Therefore, they can communicate with the outside world.
It was said that their village was one of many similar ones, but rather unfortunately... they hadn't heard of them for many years.
But people gradually didn't really care. If they came, they were treated as honored guests, and if they didn't come, they were treated as if they didn't have this distant relative.
Sennogi actually quite like this lake.
Because there are still a lot of her acquaintances in this lake.
Just as Sennogi arrived at the lake, a large number of bubbles appeared in the water from the bottom.
Sennogi smiled and squatted down, quietly looking at the water.
Soon, on the surface of the water, one Pokémon after another just appeared in front of her.
Magikarp, Goldeen and even Feebas, as well as...
The Milotic that stayed at the forefront of all the Pokémon.
Sennogi stroked Milotic's head.
Milotic closed his eyes in comfort.
This Milotic had been saved by Sennogi when he was still a Feebas.
He was very willing to follow Sennogi. But it was not up to him. Nor Sennogi.
Each Feebas was obtained by the temple from the Hoenn region at great cost. So every Feebas is their property, a servant of the gods. So they will not allow Milotic to follow Sennogi.
Sennogi hasn't taken in any Pokémon so far either, not without a fight with her brother and the temple.
Even though her brother favors her. But her brother was busy, and many times he didn't have the time to pay attention to her. She also didn't want to bother her brother. This town used to be very poor. Until her brother started to lead the group to plant water plants at the bottom of the lake. This water grass was very suitable as a quality food for water-type Pokémon. It was able to enhance their control over water-based energy.
That's why the village is still quite wealthy now. The water grass was always in short supply.
She didn't want to cause trouble for her brother, so she played around by herself. Hoping to find something else, something to have fun with.
"It's been a while, how have you been?"
"Woo~"
Milotic's voice was also beautiful. Otherwise they wouldn't be called the most beautiful Pokémon.
Sennogi just chatted with Milotic and the many Pokémon.
They are close friends of Sennogi, the little princess of Sen Mizu Town. Sennogi is the little princess of Sen Mizu Town, and the little princess of all the Pokémon in this town. They always had a special closeness to Sennogi. And Sennogi had a special closeness to them, and even to every piece of water in the village.
This affection came inexplicably, but not that many people cared is all.
Just when everyone was chatting happily. Suddenly there was a gust of wind blowing over. The wind was so outrageously strong that it even formed a not-so-small wave on the lake.
Sennogi subconsciously got up and prepared to leave, but was immediately blown down by the wind again.
"I'm going! That hurts!"
Sennogi rubbed his butt, and for a moment, he was also a little bit annoyed. What was with this wind that came from nowhere?
But this gust of wind came and went quickly.
Within a few moments, the gust disappeared as if it had never existed.
But before Sennogi and the group of Pokémon could breathe a sigh of relief, a burning sensation appeared in front of everyone.
The group of Pokémon didn't even think too much about resisting, they just hurriedly disappeared into the neighborhood.
Even Milotic was trembling, not knowing what to do for a moment. But that pressure that belonged to a higher power, or even a god, prevented him from doing much else at all.
Although Sennogi was also taken aback by that actually, but soon, she still gently patted Milotic's head, signaling him to leave here first.
She knew that even if Milotic was here, he wouldn't be able to help much at all. His strength was poor. Or rather Milotic, who was an ornamental fish in itself, wasn't here to fight in itself.
His combat power itself was not worth mentioning.
Milotic was a bit hesitant, but at Sennogi's urging, he left the place.
And everything that was left would eventually have to be faced by Sennogi alone.
The burning sensation coming from the sky still had no intention of dissipating.
Sennogi felt that her lips were starting to dry out.
She raised her head and looked at the sky. Somewhat in awe...
She seemed to see Red-colored shadows.
In the next moment, a hollow intertwined with gold and silver colors appeared in the sky, followed by a searing flame.
The moment the flame appeared in this world, a searing wave of heat rushed at Sennogi head-on.
She looked at the humanoid that had fallen from the sky.
It looked as if he was unconscious, just silently allowing himself to fall out of control.
Just as Sennogi was debating how she should go about saving this person, the humanoid in the sky suddenly reversed the position of his body. Face down, as if he had seen something.
A pair of fire wings spread out right behind him, flapping, and the hot wind even stirred up white water vapor on the surface of the water.
Sennogi looked at the youth who was in the air and stayed in front of his eyes, for a moment he didn't know what to say.
And that young man in seeing Sennogi that moment, also seems to have a momentary loss of concentration, but soon back to God, very natural and Sennogi greeted.
It was as if the two had known each other for a long time.
But Sennogi knew very well... she hadn't seen this person before.
Such a handsome person, even if it's just a glimpse, it shouldn't be forgotten.
"And you are?"
With this question from Sennogi, Rope reacted this time that the one talking to him was not the Sennogi who had been very dependent on him from the moment they met.
Rather, it was the Sennogi who, sixty-three years ago, hadn't known herself.
For Sennogi, at this moment, it was the first time he met her.
"Hello, my name is Rope."
Saying that, Rope smiled and extended her hand towards Sennogi.
Sennogi also took Rope's hand somewhat dully, then said, "Hello, my name is Sennogi."
Rope cocked his head, smiled, and was just about to come up with 'I know what your name is.'
The words ended up coming out before he could say them.
Sennogi spoke up a bit dully.
"Are you the one for me?"
Rope: Meow meow meow???
"You, what are you saying?"
Rope was dumbfounded, he really didn't expect Sennogi to pull such a stunt. What do you mean by 'the real one'? Why would it say that?
Rope just couldn't understand if he had a problem or Sennogi had a problem.
A few moments later, Rope and Sennogi sat by the river and talked about these things. Then nodded silently and said, "So that's how it is?"
"Although I don't know why that friend of yours prophesied my existence, I still feel that I should be quite different from the one you described as the True Fate."
Rope was truly outrageous, in every sense of the word. After all, the fact that someone could predict their own arrival was a stretch in itself. And this person was still calculating himself while divining his marriage...
One could only say that it was getting more and more outrageous.
However, Sennogi looked at the person in front of her who was radiant, but she didn't know if she was human or not, and for a moment she didn't know how to react. After all, this guy who fell from the sky was mysterious. It was as if he knew a lot of things about himself. Although one didn't mind telling him these things. But this feeling of someone else directly telling you your hidden secrets was still a bit creepy.
Rope could see Sennogi's consternation and spoke, "These are all things 'you' told me."
Sennogi could see the obvious confusion on her face.
But Rope didn't mean to say much. He was remembering that in the aftermath though Sennogi quickly reacted to being herself. But she shouldn't have known that she was a Traveler in the beginning.
So Rope decided to be a riddler.
While looking at the confusion on Sennogi's face, Rope suddenly felt the pleasure of being a riddler.
So this feeling of knowing a secret that no one else knows...is so good!
Rope couldn't help but feel a bit smug, but this didn't last long.
Sennogi didn't care too much either. The guy's appearance was quite a myth in itself. On top of that, the Pokémon had warned her. Even if someone came and told Sennogi right now that this was a god that was lost on earth.
Sennogi would believe it.
Seriously though...Rope was indeed a lost god on earth if she had to say so.
Rope shook his head and got up, then said, "Well, girl, could you give me a tour of your village?"
"I'm still curious about this village of yours right now."
Sennogi got up, looked at her own village not far away, then looked at Rope beside her, and spoke with some confusion, "What are you curious about?"
Rope narrowed his eyes and pulled out a smirk at the corner of his mouth, "I really want to know how this village of yours managed to raise such a beautiful girl like you."
Sennogi subconsciously blushed, but when she turned her head to look at Rope she realized that she might indeed be thinking a little too much. How could this guy actually expect such a thing just because of his face?
Sennogi didn't think Rope was a guy who would have anything bad in mind though... she had some of the same familiar feelings for Rope, just the same. Very caring, very concerned. And very trusting as well.
"All right, I'll take you with me."
And on the other side.
In the temple, in one of the deepest rooms, a woman with a full head of Chinese hair, but with a face and skin as hydrated as a young girl's, if not for the sadness on her brow and that look full of history, although the facial image, although it was indeed young, could nevertheless easily be seen that it was not a young man.
And this feeling was made even more unmistakable the moment she opened her eyes.
In her eyes were traces of time and accumulated knowledge.
In the empty and silent room, this old man frowned and slowly spoke.
"What happened?"
Her voice echoed in the room as if she was asking someone.
And the room remained silent, like there wasn't a single response.
But the old man nodded, wondering as if he had heard something.
"Is that so? Someone is coming, ah, it's good that you follow him. I'm always a little panicked, I don't know exactly what there is in addition to the problem."
The old man's tone was quite relieved.
"Is that so? That man is pretty strong! That's good, I hope that in that case, it will allow our village to avoid this calamity."
After saying that, the old man let out a long sigh of relief and said, "I'm sorry, you've guarded us for so many years, but we have no way to guard you now."
"Haha. Maybe one day this village will perish. I hope that when that time comes, you will be able to leave one last seed for us."
"Yes? Thank you."
And before her words fell, the door to her room was suddenly opened by a middle-aged woman.
"The High Priestess! No! Not good! Not good!"
The middle-aged woman's face even had a look of shock. It was as if she had seen something extremely terrifying.
"The origin, the origin has disappeared."
Her voice even took on a bit of a crying tone while trembling.
"What a fuss."
The High Priest spoke somewhat helplessly.
"Calm down, I haven't even panicked yet, why are you panicking?"
The originally terrified woman also calmed down after being lightly admonished by the Great Sacrifice.
"Great Sacrifice...the Origin is lost ah...is it really...okay?"
She was a bit incredulous. After all, they, the priests, knew it very well. That Origin, was the root of Sen Mizu Town, or even the entire Sen Mizu Wetland's existence.
But the Great Sacrifice did not have the slightest bit of panic on her face as she said, "It will come back, it doesn't need us to worry about it..."
"Moreover, it may not necessarily be a bad thing."
Saying so, the High Priest couldn't help but shake his head once again.
And somewhere further away.
A youth wearing a long black coat with a string of bracelets on his wrist narrowed his eyes. Most of those beads on the bracelet on his hand were colorless, but there were still a few that already had color.
He looked into the distance, in the direction where Sen Mizu Town was, and squinted his eyes.
A moment later, he said in a somewhat strange voice, "What's going on... why are there two auras of Origin there..."
After looking at it for a while, he couldn't figure out what was going on, so he simply walked over in that direction.
"It's outside of the plan, but it looks like it's worth studying."
