Noticing my sudden unease, Alyssa glanced at me with a mocking smile and jeered, "Oh, trying to act all cool earlier? What's the matter? Feeling frightened now?"


The hosts' expressions turned smug, and one of them addressed the livestream audience, "Look here, folks! This relationship-wrecker seems awfully concerned about the contents of this box. It must be something important!"


"Any guesses on what's inside?" they asked eagerly.


Their excitement was palpable, as if they'd just struck gold, and they chuckled deviously at the camera. The livestream viewers chimed in enthusiastically, curious about the box's contents.


I spoke carefully, "There's nothing of monetary value in there, but it holds great sentimental importance to me. Please don't tamper with it."


Alyssa grabbed the box and opened it, revealing a pale green bracelet inside.


She scoffed, "Huh, I expected something more impressive. It's just a silly bracelet!" She then picked up the bracelet, poised to destroy it.
