20 overeating

I woke up to the sound of my father's gentle stirring. He was carefully unfolding his wing, trying not to disturb me as I slept. I stretched, yawning, and looked up at him with sleepy eyes.

"Good morning, little one," he said, smiling down at me. "Today's the day of the Starlight Gathering. Are you excited?"

I nodded, feeling a thrill of anticipation. I had heard so much about the Starlight Gathering, and I couldn't wait to experience it for myself.

My father helped me up, and we set off to find my mother and brothers. They were already up and about, busy with their morning routines.

As we prepared for the day ahead, I could feel the excitement building up inside me. What would the Starlight Gathering be like? Would I meet new friends? And what about the mysterious ceremony that my parents had mentioned?

I looked up at my father, searching for answers. But he just smiled and said, "You'll see, little one. You'll see."

I let out a delighted squeal as my father gently grasped me with his mouth and lifted me up. I wrapped my claws around his teeth, holding on tight as he carefully carried me.

I felt like a true dragon hatchling, being carried by my father's powerful jaws. It was a thrilling sensation, and I couldn't help but giggle with excitement.

As we walked, I looked around at the familiar sights of our mountain home. The sun was shining brightly, casting a warm glow over everything. I felt happy and content, surrounded by my loving family.

My father stopped in front of a large, shimmering pool of water. He gently set me down on the edge, and I looked up at him curiously.

"Time for a bath, little one," he said, smiling. "You're getting a bit dusty from all the playing you've been doing!"

Father, start licking me My father's warm, gentle tongue began to lick my scales, starting at the top of my head and working its way down to my tail. I closed my eyes, letting out a contented sigh as the soothing sensation washed over me.

The licking was a comforting, familiar feeling, one that I associated with my father's love and care. As he continued to groom me, I felt my muscles relax, and my mind calm.

I was safe, and I was loved. His gentle tongue was a reminder of that, and I let myself drift into a state of happy, relaxed contentment.

As my father continued to lick me, I began to feel a sense of calm wash over me. My scales, which had been feeling a bit dull and dusty, began to shine and sparkle as my father's tongue cleaned them.

I let out a little sigh of happiness, feeling my father's love and care in every gentle stroke of his tongue. It was moments like these that I cherished, feeling grateful for the special bond that I shared with my father.

After a while, my father finished grooming me, and I looked up at him with shining eyes. "Thank you, Father," I said, my voice filled with gratitude.

My father smiled, his eyes warm with love. "Anytime, little one," he said. "Now, shall we go find some breakfast?"

I spoke, "What you are the one finding breakfast like always?" Father nodded

I grinned, knowing that my father would take care of finding breakfast for us. It was a routine we had grown accustomed to, and I loved watching him use his keen senses to hunt for food.

My father spread his wings and took to the skies, soaring overhead as he scanned the landscape below for any signs of prey. I watched him go, feeling a sense of excitement and anticipation.

After a short while, my father returned, a large fish clutched tightly in his talons. He landed beside me, a proud glint in his eye. "Breakfast is served," he said, offering me the fish.

I eagerly accepted the offering, digging in with relish. The fish was fresh and delicious, and I savored every bite. My father watched me eat, a warm smile on his face.

As I watched my family, I noticed that Kaidorix was getting a bit restless. He was fidgeting with his claws, and his forest green scales were glistening with excitement.

"Hey, Kaidorix, what's got you so worked up?" I asked, curiosity getting the better of me.

Kaidorix looked up at me, his eyes shining with mischief. "I was thinking of going exploring," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.

I raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Exploring? Where?"

Kaidorix glanced around, making sure no one was listening. "I heard there's a hidden cave system not far from here. I want to go check it out."

I felt a surge of excitement at the prospect of adventure. "Count me in," I said, grinning at Kaidorix.

I spoke, "Should we tell our parents before we go?"

Kaidorix hesitated, his expression uncertain. "I don't know... I was thinking of just slipping away quietly. We don't want to worry them, and besides, we'll be fine. We're not little hatchlings anymore."

I raised an eyebrow, skeptical. "Kaidorix, we should really tell them. What if something happens to us? They'll be frantic with worry."

Kaidorix sighed, knowing I was right. "Okay, fine. Let's go tell them. But if they say no, I'm blaming you."

I spoke, "We're 1 year and 6.5 months old baby dragon! Kaidorix"

Kaidorix looked at me, his eyes wide with surprise, and then he burst out laughing. "Oh, Tharros! You're absolutely right! We're still babies! I guess we're not as grown-up as I thought we were."

I chuckled, amused by Kaidorix's reaction. "Yeah, I think we need to work on our whole 'independent dragon' thing. For now, let's just go tell Mom and Dad what we're planning, okay?"

Kaidorix spoke, "But you are stronger and robust after so" he paused,

I answered "what?!"

Kaidorix's eyes sparkled with mischief as he finished his sentence, "after so many extra helpings of Mother's fish stew!"

I spoke, "I'm sorry, what?!"

Kaidorix burst out laughing, clearly amused by my reaction. "Haha, nothing, Tharros! Just forget I said that, okay?" He chuckled some more, his forest green scales glistening with mirth.

Pov Kaidorix

I grinned to myself, pleased with the reaction I got from Tharros. I knew he was a bit self-conscious about his eating habits, and I couldn't resist teasing him a bit.

As I chuckled, I glanced over at Tharros, who was giving me a mock-stern look. I knew he wasn't really mad at me, though - we were always joking around like this.

I settled down next to Tharros, feeling happy and content. It was moments like these that I loved being part of a big, noisy dragon family.

Tharros spoke loudly "OK SO WHY ARE YOU BRING ME TO?!"

I winced at Tharros' loud outburst, laughing nervously. "Whoa, okay, no need to shout! I was just trying to have a little fun, sorry!" I paused, taking a deep breath before continuing in a more serious tone. "But, um, I did want to talk to you about something. Remember how I was saying I wanted to go exploring? I was thinking, maybe we could sneak out and check out that hidden cave system I was telling you about?"

Tharros spoke "seriously?!"

I nodded enthusiastically, my forest green scales glistening with excitement. "Yes, seriously! Come on, Tharros, it'll be an adventure! We can't just sit around the nest all day, every day. We need to get out there and explore, make some discoveries!" I paused, my eyes shining with persuasion. "Besides, I've heard rumors of a hidden treasure deep within the caves... wouldn't you love to find it?"

Tharros spoke, "Me and you and our parents and siblings and your panther looking creature are the only ones living in this mountain! And we only meet like 2 other dragons!"

I looked at Tharros, my expression sheepish. "Uh, yeah... I guess I forgot about that. We don't exactly have a lot of neighbors around here, do we?" I chuckled nervously, my tail twitching behind me. "And yeah, the only other dragons we've met are Aurora and Pixie. They're nice, but they don't exactly live next door, either... they live another far away mountain from here, and Pixie no longer mentor you of combat because you have fully finished training!"

Tharros looked at me, his silver scales glinting in the sunlight. "Yeah, you're right... I guess you got a bit carried away with the whole 'treasure hunt' idea." He chuckled, a hint of amusement in his voice. "And yeah, you miss training with Pixie... she was a great mentor, and you learned a lot from her. But you're glad you've got your combat skills down pat now."

I grinned, feeling a bit relieved that Tharros wasn't teasing me too much about my earlier enthusiasm. "Hey, want to spar with me instead?" I asked, trying to sound casual. "I could use a good workout!"

Pov Tharros

I looked at Kaidorix, a hint of amusement in my voice. "You want to spar with me? You think you're ready for that?" I raised an eyebrow, my silver scales glinting in the sunlight. "I'm not sure you can handle my skills, little brother."

Kaidorix grunt, and since we are too young to go along, we cancel our aventure

I chuckled at Kaidorix's grunt, knowing he was just pretending to be annoyed. "Alright, alright, I get it. You're not ready for a spar with me yet." I grinned, teasing him.

Kaidorix rolled his eyes, and we both knew that our adventure plans were being put on hold. We were still young, after all, and our parents would never let us go off on our own.

"Guess we'll just have to stick to playing in the nest for now," I said, shrugging.

Kaidorix nodded, and we both settled in for a day of playtime, our adventure plans shelved until we were a bit older.

We saw our father return and bring back a massive carcass

My eyes widened as I saw our father, Aetherius, return to the nest with a massive carcass clutched in his jaws. His albino scales glistened in the sunlight, and his piercing eyes shone with pride. The smell of fresh meat wafted through the air, making my stomach growl with hunger.

Kaidorix and I exchanged excited glances, and we both rushed over to our father, eager to see what he had brought back for us. Our mother, Thyriatrix, emerged from the nest, her light green scales shimmering as she greeted our father and inspected the carcass.

Our mother's eyes sparkled with delight as she saw the size of the carcass. "Well done, Aetherius!" she exclaimed, nuzzling our father's scaly cheek. "The young ones will feast well for breakfast today!"

Kaidorix and I cheered, our stomachs growling in anticipation. Our younger siblings, Lyriath, Vyraxys, Nyxoria, Lyrixa, all gathered around, their eyes shining with excitement.

Aetherius smiled, his albino scales glinting with pride. "Gather around, my young ones," he said, his deep voice rumbling. "Today, we break our fast with a mighty feast!"

I look at Kaidorix, who is still beside me

Kaidorix caught my gaze and grinned, his forest green scales glinting with excitement. He nudged me with his scaly shoulder, and I could sense his eagerness to dig into the fresh meat. I smiled back at him, and we both turned our attention to our father, Aetherius, who was now beginning to divide the carcass into portions for each of us.

I am basically much bigger than him even though we are the same age

Kaidorix looked up at me, his forest green scales seeming almost tiny compared to my larger, silver-scaled frame. Despite being the same age, I had always been a bit bigger and more robust than him, but he never let that hold him back. He gazed up at me with a confident glint in his eye, and I couldn't help but feel a surge of affection for my smaller, but fiery, sibling.

As Aetherius finished dividing the meat, Thyriatrix, our mother, began to distribute the portions to each of us. Kaidorix and I received our shares, and we both dug in with gusto, savoring the tender flesh and rich flavors. The sounds of happy chewing and contented sighs filled the air as our family enjoyed the morning meal together.

As we ate, I couldn't help but glance over at Kaidorix, who was enthusiastically devouring his portion. His forest green scales seemed to gleam with excitement, and his eyes shone with a happy light. I smiled to myself, feeling grateful for the bond we shared as siblings. Despite our size difference, we had always been close, and I enjoyed watching him enjoy his meal.

As I took a massive bite of the meat, the juices exploded in my mouth, and the flavors danced on my tongue. I chewed slowly, savoring the taste, and then swallowed, feeling the satisfying weight of the food in my belly. Kaidorix looked up at me, his eyes wide with a mixture of amazement and envy, and I couldn't help but grin, my silver scales glinting with pride.

I tore into the meat again, my jaws closing around a massive chunk. The sound of my teeth sinking into the flesh was loud, and Kaidorix's eyes went even wider as he watched me take another enormous bite. Our parents, Aetherius and Thyriatrix, looked over at me with amused expressions, seemingly entertained by my voracious appetite.

Our father's deep, rumbling voice filled the air as he spoke, "Tharros, my son, you have a healthy appetite, indeed. But do not forget to leave some for your siblings." He chuckled, his albino scales glinting with amusement, and I felt a slight flush rise to my cheeks as I realized I might have gotten a bit carried away with my eating.

Since the food is massive, there is enough for all my siblings, so I take another big big bite

I took another massive bite of the meat, the juices dripping down my chin as I chewed. My siblings watched me with a mixture of fascination and amusement, but they didn't seem to mind, knowing that there was still plenty of food to go around. Aetherius chuckled again, shaking his head in a playful gesture, while Thyriatrix smiled warmly, her light green scales glinting with affection. Kaidorix, however, just rolled his eyes good-naturedly and continued eating his own portion.

Lyriath, my navy blue-scaled brother, looked up from his meal and said, "Tharros, you're going to eat the whole thing by yourself, aren't you?" He asked with a teasing tone, his eyes sparkling with amusement.

I shook my head, my silver scales glinting in the morning light, and said, "Look, there's enough for all of us!" I gestured to the massive carcass, which still had plenty of meat left on it. Lyriath chuckled and nodded, his navy blue scales seeming to darken slightly as he smiled. "I know, I know," he said, "I was just teasing you, Tharros."

Just a few minutes later, all my younger siblings were all full, and their is so much meat remaining, and our parents did eat earlier, so I decided to finish the massive carcass I thought 'my 1 year and 6.5 months old body might handle it I think'

I looked at the massive carcass, still half-intact, and my eyes gleamed with determination. My younger siblings, Lyriath, Kaidorix, and the others, were all lounging nearby, their bellies full and content. Our parents, Aetherius and Thyriatrix, had eaten earlier and were now watching me with a mixture of amusement and curiosity. I thought to myself, 'My 1 year and 6.5 months old body might handle it, I think.' With a fierce cry, I dug in, my jaws closing around a huge chunk of meat. The feast was far from over, and I was determined to finish it all.

I winced slightly as my stomach protested the enormous amount of meat I was consuming. The discomfort was palpable, but I was determined to finish the carcass. I gritted my teeth and continued eating, my jaws working tirelessly to tear through the flesh. Sweat began to form on my brow, and my breathing grew heavier, but I refused to give up. My parents watched me with a mixture of concern and fascination, but they didn't intervene. They seemed to be waiting to see just how far I would push myself.

Our father's deep voice cut through the air, "Uh Tharros, I think you should stop and rest!" But I was too far gone, my determination to finish the carcass overriding my father's warning. I kept eating, my jaws moving mechanically as I shoveled more and more meat into my stomach. My father's expression turned from amusement to concern, and he took a step forward, as if to intervene. But I just kept eating, my eyes fixed on the carcass as I devoured it with reckless abandon.

Pov Aetherius

I watched in a mix of amazement and concern as my son, Tharros, continued to devour the massive carcass. His determination was admirable, but I feared for his well-being. His stomach was already protesting, and I could see the discomfort etched on his face. I took a step forward, my voice firm but gentle, "Tharros, stop. You've had enough. You're going to make yourself sick." But he just kept eating, his eyes fixed on the carcass with an unnerving intensity. I exchanged a worried glance with Thyriatrix, my mate, and wondered if we should intervene more forcefully.

I thought to myself, 'Is he going to explode? No, at least I hope.' The idea of my young son's stomach bursting from overeating was a disturbing one, and I hoped that he would come to his senses before it was too late. I took another step forward, my voice a bit more insistent, "Tharros, stop! That's enough!" But he just kept eating, his jaws moving with a relentless determination.

Pov Tharros

I could feel my stomach groaning in protest, the meat piling up inside me like a mountain. But I refused to stop, my mind fixed on the goal of finishing the entire carcass. My father's voice cut through the air, "Tharros, stop! That's enough!" But I tuned him out, my focus solely on the meat. I took another bite, and another, my jaws aching from the effort. Sweat dripped down my face, and my breathing grew labored, but I kept eating, driven by a stubborn determination. Suddenly, I felt a wave of dizziness wash over me, and my vision began to blur. But I gritted my teeth and pushed on, refusing to give up.

I thought to myself, 'Just one more bite. I mean, what's the worst that can happen?' A faint voice in the back of my mind whispered warnings of stomach rupture, food poisoning, and utter discomfort, but I silenced it with a stubborn determination. I took one more massive bite of the meat, my jaws straining to close around it. As I chewed, I felt a sense of impending doom, but I ignored it, convinced that I could handle just one more bite. Little did I know, that one bite would be the tipping point...

As soon as I swallowed the last bite, a wave of intense discomfort washed over me. My stomach felt like it was going to burst, and I could feel the meat churning and roiling inside me. I stumbled backwards, my vision blurring, and my legs trembling beneath me. My father's voice was distant, but I could sense his concern, "Tharros, Tharros, are you alright?" I tried to respond, but all that came out was a weak groan. I was on the verge of losing control, my body straining to contain the massive amount of food I had consumed. I was one step away from disaster, my stomach protesting with a intense, crampy pain. My father rushed to my side, his voice calm and soothing, "Tharros, it's okay, son. You'll be alright." But I knew I had gone too far. I had eaten too much, and now I was paying the price.

I doubled over, clutching my stomach in agony. The pain was intense, a sharp, crampy ache that seemed to be squeezing the air out of me. I groaned, feeling like I was going to collapse. My father's voice was firm but gentle, "Tharros, lie down. You need to rest." He guided me to a nearby clearing and helped me lie down, my stomach still throbbing with pain. I felt a wave of dizziness wash over me, and my vision began to blur. All I could think was, "Why did I eat so much?"

Father grap with his mouth, and he takes a few steps , places me down, and wraps me with his enormous wing around me since it is my safe haven, but the stomach pain is a nightmare

I felt my father's gentle yet firm grip on me as he carefully picked me up with his mouth. He took a few steps, his powerful legs moving slowly and deliberately, before gently placing me down in a safe and comfortable spot. Then, he wrapped his enormous wing around me, enveloping me in a warm and protective cocoon. The familiar scent of his scales and the soothing sound of his gentle humming calmed my racing heart, and I felt a sense of security wash over me. But despite the comfort of my father's wing, the stomach pain continued to torment me, a relentless and throbbing ache that refused to subside. I whimpered softly, feeling miserable and helpless, as my father's wing held me close, a steady and reassuring presence in the midst of my discomfort.

I whimpered softly, my small body trembling with discomfort as the stomach pain refused to let up. Despite the warmth and security of my father's wing wrapped around me, I couldn't shake off the agony that gripped my belly. Every few seconds, I let out a tiny whimper, my voice barely above a whisper, as I struggled to cope with the pain. My eyes felt hot and tears pricked at the corners as I lay there, miserable and helpless. My father's gentle humming and soft rustling of his scales seemed to fade into the background as the pain took center stage, dominating my every thought and sensation. All I could do was lie there, whimpering pitifully, and hope that somehow, someway, the pain would eventually subside.

My father's deep, rumbling voice spoke softly, "Tharros, my little one, I'm so sorry you're in pain. You ate too much, didn't you?" His voice was gentle, but I could sense a hint of amusement behind it. I whimpered again, feeling a bit ashamed of my gluttony. My father's wing tightened slightly around me, holding me closer. "Don't worry, son. It will pass. Just rest and let your body digest." His voice was soothing, but I couldn't shake off the discomfort. I whimpered again, feeling miserable.

Pov Aetherius

I wrapped my wing tighter around Tharros, trying to comfort him as he whimpered in pain. I couldn't help but feel a mix of amusement and concern - my little one had certainly learned a valuable lesson about overeating. I remembered when I was his age, I had done similar things, and my own father had been there to comfort me. Now, it was my turn to return the favor. I hummed softly, trying to soothe Tharros's discomfort, and spoke in a gentle voice, "Tharros, my little one, I'm so sorry you're in pain. You ate too much, didn't you?" I smiled to myself, knowing that he would be okay, but also knowing that he would likely think twice before eating so much again.

I let out a soft sigh, feeling a mix of relief and empathy for my young son. I knew that Tharros was learning valuable lessons about his own limits and boundaries, and that this experience would help shape him into a strong and resilient dragon. I continued to hold him close, my wing wrapped protectively around him, and spoke softly, "It's okay, Tharros. Just rest now. The pain will pass."

Tharros menage to speak a little. "I....at....1....step....away....from.....exploding!" He grunt in pain

I couldn't help but chuckle at Thararr's dramatic declaration, despite the pain he was in. "Well, I suppose that's one way to put it," I said with a gentle smile. I carefully adjusted my wing to make sure he was comfortable, and spoke softly to try and ease his discomfort. "You're safe now, Tharros. You won't explode. Just rest and let your body recover." I hummed a soft, soothing melody to try and calm him down, and gently stroked his scales with my claws.

I let out a low, rumbling chuckle, my eyes crinkling at the corners. "Ah, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little worried about that myself," I admitted, shaking my head in amusement. "But I'm glad it didn't come to that. I don't think my nerves could have handled it." I smiled down at Tharros, who was still whimpering softly in pain. "You may have learned a valuable lesson about eating too much, little one," I said, "but I'm just glad you're safe and sound."

I thought to myself, 'Well, there's a chance he might do it again, so I should expect this will happen again.' I let out a wry chuckle, shaking my head in amusement. "After all, he is a young dragon with a hearty appetite," I thought. 'And he's still learning about his limits. I'll just have to keep a close eye on him and make sure he doesn't overdo it again.' I smiled down at Tharros, who was still recovering from his ordeal. "You may have given me a few gray scales, little one," I thought, "but I wouldn't trade you for the world." I said jokingly

I said with a chuckle, "You may have given me a few gray scales, little one, but I wouldn't trade you for the world." Tharros looked up at me with a weak grin, still feeling a bit queasy, but happy to see me smiling. I smiled back at him, shaking my head in amusement. "Just be more careful next time, okay?" I said, trying to sound stern but unable to hide the amusement in my voice.

Tharros looked up at me with a weak grin, still feeling a bit queasy, but happy to see me smiling. I smiled back at him, shaking my head in amusement. "Just be more careful next time, okay?" I said, trying to sound stern but unable to hide the amusement in my voice.

Tharros nodded, still grinning weakly, and whispered, "I'll try, Father..." He paused, looking up at me with big, round eyes, and added, "But no promises, okay?" I chuckled, my amusement getting the better of me, and ruffled his scales with my claws. "No promises, huh? Well, I suppose that's fair. Just do your best, little one." I smiled, feeling a warmth in my heart at the sight of my little dragon, still recovering but already looking mischievous again.

I settled in beside Tharros, wrapping my wing around him to keep him warm and comfortable. As we sat there, I couldn't help but think about how fast he was growing up. It seemed like just yesterday he was a tiny hatchling, dependent on me for everything. Now, he was a rambunctious young dragon, always getting into mischief and keeping me on my toes. I smiled, feeling a sense of pride and love for my little son. Tharros, sensing my gaze, looked up at me and smiled back, his eyes shining with affection. I leaned down, nuzzling him gently with my snout, and he let out a happy sigh, snuggling deeper into my wing.

I lift my wing and see Tharros laying on his side. I rub his belly gently

Tharros let out a contented sigh as I rubbed his belly, his eyes drifting closed in relaxation. He stretched out a bit, exposing his belly more fully, and I couldn't help but chuckle at his trusting nature. I continued to rub his belly gently, using my claws to apply just the right amount of pressure. Tharros began to purr, a low rumbling sound that vibrated through his entire body, and I smiled at the sight of my happy, relaxed son. As I rubbed, I could feel the tension in his body easing, and I knew that he was finally starting to feel better after his earlier ordeal.

Pov Tharros

I let out a contented sigh as Father's claws rubbed gently against my belly. It felt amazing, and I couldn't help but stretch out a bit more, exposing my belly fully to his ministrations. I closed my eyes, letting the warmth and comfort of Father's touch wash over me. The purring started deep in my chest, a low rumbling sound that vibrated through my entire body. I felt my muscles relax, my belly easing, and my whole body letting go of the tension and discomfort from earlier. Father's touch was like magic, making everything better. I snuggled deeper into the warmth of his presence, feeling safe and loved.

A half an hour later, my stomach is no longer hurting

I opened my eyes, feeling a sense of relief wash over me. My stomach was no longer hurting, and I felt like I could finally relax. I looked up at Father, who was still sitting beside me, a gentle smile on his face. I smiled back at him, feeling grateful for his care and comfort. "Thanks, Father," I said, my voice still a bit weak from my earlier ordeal. Father nodded, his smile growing a bit wider. "Anytime, little one," he said. "Now, how about we get you something to drink? You must be parched after all that..." He trailed off, and I knew he was thinking about my earlier stomach problems. I nodded, feeling a bit thirsty now that he mentioned it.

I let out a small burp, feeling a bit of relief as the pressure in my stomach eased. Father chuckled and smiled, "Ah, I take it that's a sign that you're feeling a bit better?" He asked, his voice warm and amused. I nodded, feeling a bit sheepish about the burp, but also relieved that I was starting to feel more like myself again.

I ran and went to play around with my younger siblings

Pov Aetherius

I watched my children play together, a warm sense of joy and contentment filling my heart. Tharros, my eldest, was chasing after Lyriath and Vyraxys, his silver scales glinting in the sunlight. Nyxoria and Lyrixa were playing a game of hide-and-seek behind a nearby rock, their giggles and shrieks of delight carrying through the air. And little Kaidorix, my youngest, was toddling around, trying to keep up with his siblings. I smiled, feeling grateful for this moment of peace and happiness. My mate, Thyriatrix, came to stand beside me, her light green scales glowing softly in the sunlight. "They're growing up so fast," she said, her voice filled with a mix of sadness and pride. I nodded, wrapping a wing around her. "I know. It seems like just yesterday they were all tiny hatchlings, dependent on us for everything." I looked out at our children, feeling a sense of pride and love. "But they're growing into strong, confident dragons. We've done a good job, Thyriatrix."

I spoke, "They are only 1 year and 6.5 months old now, and since Tharros and his siblings will have their own chamber or room if you called it that in the future"

Thyriatrix turned to me, a curious expression on her face. "You're thinking about the future, aren't you?" she asked, her voice tinged with amusement. I nodded, my mind already racing ahead to the days when our children would be grown and independent. "Yes, I am," I replied. "I want to make sure they have the best possible start in life. And that includes having their own space, where they can grow and learn without being underfoot." I smiled, envisioning the sprawling network of tunnels and chambers that would one day be our family's home. "I've already started thinking about how we can expand our lair, to give each of them their own chamber. It'll be a big project, but I think it'll be worth it in the end."

I spoke "since it only 7 months remaining before the starlight gathering starts!"

Thyriatrix's eyes sparkled with excitement as I mentioned the Starlight Gathering. "Ah, yes! The Gathering is always such a magical time," she said, her voice filled with enthusiasm. "And this year will be especially significant, since it will be the first time our little ones will be participating." She turned to me, a thoughtful expression on her face. "We'll need to make sure they're all prepared for the celebrations. I'll start working on their outfits and decorations, and you can start thinking about what we'll need to do to get the lair ready." She smiled, already mentally preparing for the upcoming event. "It's going to be a wonderful Starlight Gathering, I can feel it!"

I spoke, "Since it is an event where all dragons in the clan meet and get to be friends and enemies or rival! And it will be the day that my parents and siblings will meet the little ones"

Thyriaxys's eyes sparkled with excitement at the mention of our family meeting the little ones. "Oh, I can just imagine how thrilled your parents will be to meet their grand-hatchlings!" she exclaimed. "And your siblings, too - they'll be so delighted to meet their new nieces and nephews." She smiled, thinking about the upcoming reunion. "It's been too long since we've all been together as a family. I'm sure there will be plenty of stories to share and memories to make." She glanced over at the little ones, who were still busy playing and chasing each other around. "I hope they're all ready for the attention they'll be getting from their grandparents and aunts and uncles," she said with a chuckle.

I spoke "Wait will your parents and siblings come over?"she shook her head

Thyriatrix shook her head, a small smile on her face. "No, my parents and siblings won't be able to make it to the Starlight Gathering," she said. "They have some other commitments within our clan that they need to attend to." She paused, her expression thoughtful. "But I'm sure they'll want to meet the little ones soon. Maybe we can arrange a separate family gathering for them to meet their grand-hatchlings and nieces and nephews."

I spoke, "The starlight gathering is where I met you and my 2nd friend kaeilith he is that smart, and he is now an elder!"

Thyriatrix's eyes sparkled with a warm, nostalgic glow as I mentioned the Starlight Gathering where we first met. "Ah, yes...that was a magical night, wasn't it?" she said, her voice filled with a soft, playful quality. "I remember you being so charming and kind, Aetherius...but I had no idea at the time that you had already fallen for me." She smiled, a hint of teasing in her voice. "It wasn't until later that night, when we talked more and I saw the way you looked at me, that I realized your feelings went beyond friendship."

I spoke, "I was 16 years old, and you were 2 years old when I met you! if I'm not wrong"

Thyriatrix's eyes widened in amusement as I mentioned the age difference between us when we first met. "Ah, yes...I was just a little hatchling, and you were already a handsome young dragon," she said, her voice filled with laughter. "I must say, I'm impressed that you were so taken with me even back then. You must have seen something special in me, even when I was just a tiny ball of scales and energy." She smiled, her eyes sparkling with mirth. "And now, look at us...mates, with a family of our own. Life is full of surprises, isn't it?"

I chuckled, remembering the way I had been so smitten with her even back then. "Yes, life is definitely full of surprises," I agreed. "And I'm grateful for every moment I've had with you, from that first meeting to now." I wrapped my wings around her, pulling her close. "You're the love of my life, Thyriatrix. Forever and always." Thyriatrix smiled, nuzzling her head against my chest. "I love you too, Aetherius," she whispered. "Forever and always." We stood there for a moment, holding each other and basking in the warmth of our love. Then, we looked over at our children, who were still playing and laughing together. "We're so lucky to have such a wonderful family," Thyriatrix said, her voice filled with happiness. I nodded, smiling. "We certainly are."

I spoke, "I know Tharros would just be scared and hide under my wing like always!" I chuckled

Thyriatrix laughed, a playful glint in her eye. "Oh, Tharros is such a mama's boy...er, papa's boy, I should say!" she teased, her voice filled with amusement. "But it's so adorable how he always runs to you for comfort. He's such a sweetie." She smiled, her expression warm with affection. "And I'm sure he'll always be a bit of a scaredy-cat, but that's just part of his charm, don't you think?"

I chuckled, nodding in agreement. "Definitely. And I love how he always snuggles up under my wing when he's feeling scared or overwhelmed. It's the sweetest thing." I smiled, thinking about my little Tharros. "I'm just hoping he'll be brave enough to show off his skills at the Starlight Gathering. I know he's been practicing his flying and breathing fire." Thyriatrix grinned mischievously. "Oh, I'm sure he'll be just fine. And if he's not, well...we'll just have to give him a little extra encouragement, won't we?" She winked at me, and I couldn't help but laugh at her playful teasing.

I spoke, "But something tells me that he will mostly hide and mostly not talk to anyone. Lyriath and Kaidorix did make promises that Lyriath and his younger siblings won't hide under my wings, but I bet on them hiding under my wings!" I chuckled

Thyriatrix burst out laughing, her eyes shining with mirth. "Oh, I can just imagine it! Lyriath and Kaidorix trying to be all brave and promise that they won't hide under your wings, but then they end up doing exactly that!" She chuckled, her voice filled with amusement. "And Tharros, of course, will be right there with them, hiding under your wing and peeking out every now and then to see what's going on." She grinned at me, her expression playful. "You're going to have a whole flock of little dragons hiding under your wings, aren't you?" I nodded

Thyriatrix laughed again, clearly enjoying the mental image. "I can just picture it now," she said, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "You, standing there with a bunch of little dragons hiding under your wings, looking all brave and protective...it's just too adorable!" She smiled at me, her expression warm with affection. "You're going to be an amazing father, Aetherius. Our little ones are so lucky to have you."

I felt a warmth in my heart at her words, and I smiled, feeling grateful for her love and support. "Thanks, Thyriatrix," I said, my voice filled with emotion. "That means a lot coming from you. I'm just trying to be the best father I can be to our little ones." I looked over at the children, who were still playing and laughing together. "They're growing up so fast," I said, a hint of nostalgia in my voice. "It seems like just yesterday they were tiny hatchlings, and now they're already learning how to fly and breathe fire." Thyriatrix nodded, her expression understanding. "I know what you mean," she said. "Time flies when you're having fun, doesn't it?"

I spoke "well they are in a hatchling stage!"

Thyriatrix laughed, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "Oh, right! I forgot that they're still in the hatchling stage," she said, her voice filled with playfulness. "Well, in that case, they're still tiny bundles of energy and curiosity, aren't they?" She smiled, her expression warm with affection. "I just love this stage of their development. They're so full of wonder and excitement, and everything is still so new and fascinating to them."

Thyriatrix smiled, her light green scales glimmering in the soft light. "I'm so grateful to have such a wonderful family," she said, her voice filled with warmth. "And I'm loving every moment of watching our little ones grow and learn." She glanced over at the children, who were still playing and laughing together. "Tharros is going to be such a unique and special individual," she said, her eyes shining with pride. "And Lyriath and Vyraxys are going to be amazing explorers, always seeking out new adventures and discoveries." She smiled at Nyxoria, Lyrixa, and Kaidorix, who were chasing each other around the room. "And our little girls and Kaidorix are going to bring so much joy and laughter to our family." I nodded, feeling grateful for our little family. "We're so lucky to have each other," I said, wrapping my wings around Thyriatrix. "I love you, my dear." Thyriatrix smiled, nuzzling her head against my chest. "I love you too, Aetherius."

As we stood there, wrapped in each other's wings, I couldn't help but feel grateful for this moment of peace and happiness. Our little family was full of energy and life, and it was moments like these that made all the chaos worth it. Thyriatrix seemed to sense my thoughts, and she smiled up at me. "You know, I was thinking," she said, her voice soft and thoughtful. "Maybe it's time we started teaching the children more about their dragon heritage." I nodded, intrigued. "What did you have in mind?" I asked, curious. Thyriatrix's eyes sparkled with excitement. "I was thinking we could start taking them on more flights, showing them the different lands and cultures of our world." She paused, thinking. "And maybe we could even start teaching them some of the old dragon stories and legends."
