Chap 23 : Stella

Every seat was equipped with a third-tier translating spell. It did exactly what it said, it changed the frequency of words into the language chosen by the user from its index, combining major languages available.

Kairos didn't choose any language as he was already well-versed in the most common language," Jilish" The same applied to others.

However, there were always exceptions. He could already notice a couple of people changing the language.

As kairos looked at the crystal in boredom, he felt someone sit beside him.

"How cool is Sir Beny!" A student exclaimed, speaking excitedly about one of the renowned professors at the academy.

"I heard he single-handedly took down a pack of wyverns last year," another student chimed in from behind.

"Ah, he's handsome too now that I take a closer look" another student added.

.....

Kairos remained silent and focused his gaze on the stage, surveying all of the professors present. He didn't recognize a single one of them or know who had become famous.

"Most of them should've died when the academy collapsed" Kairos thought to himself, activating his aura to enhance his vision and assess their potential.

With his soul power and control, he quickly became proficient in using this ability.

Still as it wasn't his own body. He couldn't achieve full power of its peak life. Which can only be achieved if he continued to train himself.

"They're annoying, aren't they?",An irritated voice came from the side.

Kairos looked at the owner of the voice.

The source of the voice was a girl with silver hair and piercing blue eyes, her expression marked by a mixture of annoyance and disdain. Kairos met her gaze, recognizing her as another new student.

"They act as if these professors are some kind of idols" she continued, her tone cutting through the excited chatter around them.

"Idols or not, we're all here for our own reasons," kairos replied, keeping his voice low. The girl glanced at him, acknowledging his point.

"True," she muttered, and for a moment, they shared a silent understanding amidst the buzz of the incoming ceremony.

"What's your name?" Kairos asked.

The girl looked at him. And measured him from head to toe, wondering whether she should tell her name or not.

"Stella Kester," she spoke after some delibration .

Kairos nodded,"kairos."

"Hmm, I said my full name. Shouldn't you do too?"

She asked with little bit of irritation.

Kairos didn't spoke right before opening his mouth " I'm a orphan. I don't have one "

She looked at him, Specially at his Handsome face and striking red hair which was parted. She can see how handsome this dude can be if he just styled his hair the correct way.

Kairos could feel her gaze. Well it wasn't that he was unprepared. Nobels, unbelievable it might be their features are quit eye catching. As the bloodline that coursing through their veins are something that affects their physical body many ways refining their bodies, making them almost perfect. Thus finding ugly nobels are kind of rare.

Thus it might still be a quit shocking thing for a commoner to have such refined face features and mussle tones.

She spoke after some time. Truthfully speaking she sat down here beacuse of him. Thinking he was a Nobel of some family.

" I see, At owsdin academy last name does matters. Be aware" she spoke putting her heads up in more confidence.

Kairos didn't spoke and just nodded his head.

The silence contiuned as no one spoke. Kairos didn't spoke as he has no reason to. While she felt like speaking up as a nobel herself she reatained from speaking.

The ceremony was about to begin with the arrival of dozens of people floating onto the main stage.

Kairos eyes sparkled as he finally saw someone he could recognize.

The academy's headmaster, a venerable figure with a long, flowing beard, ascended the stage causing the murmurs of the crowd to die down into silence.

The headmaster's piercing gaze swept across the sea of students.A solemn atmosphere took over the crowd as the headmaster began to speak with his resonating voice.

"Welcome, esteemed students, to Owsdin Academy," his voice echoed through the ceremony field. "Today marks the beginning of your journey into the path of magic "

Kairos listened intently to his words." Sound amplification" He thought.

The headmaster continued, recounting the academy's history and the heroic deeds of the seven figures who saved humanity.

The speech went on for quite a while as the professors introduced themselves one after another. The audience was bored, but no one dared to disrupt the ceremony.

Finally, important matters were addressed—the rules of the academy that must be followed.

The speaker was the vice headmaster, a stunning woman with hair as white as snow.

As she began to speak, everyone became more attentive. Well, some were already attentive from the start. Beauty naturally captures attention.

Unfortunately, Kairos was not swayed by her beauty. He knew that no matter how beautiful a flower she might be, this flower was very old.

Atleast four to five hundred years.

"Look at you. Your eyes are guled on to her" Stella spoke in anyonace.

Kairos snapped back from his thoughts. He opened his mouth to explain. But then realizing it would just a hassle to explain that he wasn't a pervert he closed his mouth right back not caring about her anymore.

" Tch " escaped from her mouth. But Kairos didn't care. He was now listening the speech carefully. As the ceremony was nearing it's end.

"Students, inject mana into the crystal holding you'd identification badges. The dorm room numbers have been posted, along with the necessary information that you require.

Pausing briefly, she continued, "I request second-year volunteer students to escort them to their assigned classrooms, ensuring a smooth transition without any chaos."

"And so, the welcoming ceremony comes to a close. The rulebook of the academy has been delivered to your dormitories. May your endeavors here arm you well for the future," she announced.

With those words, the ceremony concluded. A metallic cover began to enclose the edges of the large circular stage, swiftly enveloping the entire stage in the blink of an eye.

Kairos quickly did what she told and injected mana. On the orb massges started appearing.
