“Unlucky” would be the nice way to describe Lucas’ luck. He wasn’t just down bad. He was practically cursed.

As someone who never asked to exist, he’s had to experience medical torture, imprisonment, and eventually death. And that was just his first life.

And his double body, the one who should be attending school, perished in an ambush.

So now, he’s forced to resolve his existential crisis while attending a school he never even enrolled in. 

He’ll have to conquer his flimsy body, his brooding roommate, and his picky-eater “dungeon”—all that on top of surviving impending doom.

Meanwhile, the alleged gullible businessman who owned much of the Empire's industrial businesses could only watch as the chipmunk 'cleaned' every nook and cranny.

Xavier thought it would take several trips, but it was over before an hour passed. And had they been allowed to zoom past everything, it would've likely taken less time.

Luca kept swaying around as he reveled in the feeling of not being too poor. At least now, if anyone needed a sudden revival, he likely would have enough funds.

But even then, he hoped not to reach that point because they weren't affordable by any means, and what if they hurt or left side effects?

D-29's prompt that the area was free of contamination made Luca turn toward Xavier.

He was just about to tell him they could leave when he noticed how Xavier suddenly tensed.
