A Little Red Bird

Ruediger and Lariette continued their shopping journey. They walked through the aisles after getting the seafood packed by the attendant, heading to the poultry section.

"Let's get the ripe bananas. I wanna make a banana cake."

"Grandma! Mimi want chocolate please~"

"Both cookies look yummy! Should we get both?"

The air in the grocery store buzzed softly with the chatters of the shoppers, echoing alongside the song played by the speakers. Lariette and Ruediger walked past them before reaching the poultry section.

"Everything has been packed," muttered Ruediger, his eyes scanning the rows of neatly packaged chicken cuts, "I'll get thighs and drummettes too. What do you think?"

Lariette nodded eagerly. She almost salivated as she said, "Spicy honey drummettes sound good. Don't you think so?"

Lariette's remarks spilled laughter from Ruediger's lips. He shook his head in helplessness as he saw the hungry look on her face.
