Meanwhile, at the same time Angella died. Back in the comfy abode they had left behind to go risking their lives. An obscene scene was taking place. And at this moment, Alex, who had been munching on the plum bosom of the blonde girl in Riverside uniform with lust, froze in action for a moment. Before a genuine evil smirk crept up his lips before resuming the lecherous act he had been doing.
At the same time all over the place, there were similar acts taking place. While Alex held two with one working on his below, the three other girls had been ganged up by the rest of the boys. Heartily enjoying the act and even supported them.
…
In response to Jean's words they give one last glance to the mash of liquid flesh, leaving behind Jack who kept staring without an ounce of emotion in his eyes. By now there was little doubt about their assumptions, but that was a matter for later.
To the corpse of the Zombie Beetle. Their eyes shjonned in awe witnessing it so close.
It was that they were awed by the size but the sizzled appearance it had.The flame had no mercy.
The once blump abdomen of the spider that had been riddled with grevious wound that claimed its life was now sunken and burnt black to crisp like a mashed ball sack.
On its rampage to escape the flames the Spider legs had suffered a crueler fate. Broken, there was only one remaining. Even to that there was no plumpness to its ugly sight. Sizzled the leg was not more than a bone. A deadly one at that, as a sharp iron like claw extended from its tip. Making them the group wallow in solemness for a moment as they imagined what would have been their fate once more if they faced the spider.
While the idea the idea of severing off it legs into a crucial weapon crept into their minds, the scene of wobbling limbs also did.
With a dismayed glint flashing past his eyes, Flynn wanted to shake his head but held back.
Rembering the floating blurb of flames he thought back to scene in the great hall, Jean using her will. Thinking why she couldn't do the same to the emrald flames.
Just as he thought about it, his answer came a moment later.
Jean seeming to know their instanty shook her head both ways,
"Uh, uh, uh… In short term, trying that would simply kill me."
"Those flames… are simply too dangerous to come in contact with."
"Even previously we hadn't come in contact with it or knew of its ability. Yet I felt dread from it." Revealing an extremely solemn look, she added before dismissing their thoughts.
To this both Flynn and Amelia kept up a speechless expression of having their thought almost read.
Noticing this, Jean smiled before pointing at the twin brothers who had the same forced expression.
"They also had the same thought, so It was easy to decipher yours."
"It is best we throw it back into the corridor and let the flame finish its work."
Not failing to decipher from her words how she reffered to the flame as an entity. They all moved to push the corpse.
Though it was heavy at first, the physical stats of five Baron Bearers combined was no joke. They easily lifted it up. And with a few steady adjustment on their grip they began to move it with it ease.
Luckily, moving the corpse close enough to the flame and jumping back in time was no hassle.
FLARP!
A moment later and there was a warp sound, and the remains of the spider lit up in green flames.
To the side, the group watched in silence.
There was no smoke, no smell, no screech or havoc being caused. In less than a minutes, to their speechless eyes the whole the Spider corpse was burnt to crisp that vanished into thin air and dropped an adult fist size jiggered stone. Even remaining leg that was thought to be much stronger than steel couldn't escape the same fate.
Clang!
A brittle sound broke the silence, and as if awoken from their trance, there was synchronized stare directed at the dull red stone. Suddenly the atmosphere subtle with tension.
One seconds… Two seconds… and then at the tenth. Ryker's carefree tone broke the silence.
"Ahh. What are you waiting for? Take it already its yours. You salyed the damned Creature and saved our lives. Or do you want more praise for that?"
To this, Flynn was left speechless for a seconds before coming to a self realization.
Though unexpected, his composure was left intact.
Coolly walking forward with a straight face, he picked up the Devil Stone.
Compared the one the twins gained from slaying the Zombie Beetle, the current one in his hand was three times bigger if not four. Feeling the weight a bit, he took off his arm Cardigan and began wrapping the Devil Stone within. Luckily the wool and cotton used to weave the former had been strengthened with the new age they were in.
Not to make it conspicuous, he further tied it around his wait, at the back and untucked his shirt to cover some part of it.
In silence the group watched the rugged transformation in speechlessness.
And as if to add a finishing touch, unsuspecting of the look he was given, Flynn loosened his tie and unbuttened his shirt a bit.
'Wow.' Amelia marveled in his head, making him bring his attention at the glued stares.
"Fortunate sure hides a lot of talents." To this, Jean who stood by his side nodded in agreement.
About to ponder if it was mock or compliment, Ryker's voice came again.
"It was a compliment by the way."
Dismissing his thought, Flynn gave an "Ok", rounding up his attire as they made their way out.
"Arrrrrrrrrrhhhhh."
Filled with anguish and pain, they heard a loud shout.
