CH: 125 Devour, mutate?

{Chapter: 125 Devour, mutate?}

Boom!

With a deafening roar, dozens of violent whirlwinds slammed into William's body, tearing through him with relentless force. Fragments of his clothing were shredded away, leaving little more than rags fluttering in the wind. His once-pristine outfit was now in tatters, barely clinging to his frame as his bloodied body bore the brunt of the onslaught.

On the Eiffel Tower, Terry couldn't hold back a terrified yell. "William!" His voice carried desperation, a plea for his companion's safety.

Jill acted swiftly, pressing her hand firmly over Terry's mouth. "Quiet! Don't draw attention to us!" she hissed, her eyes darting nervously toward the battle below.

But it was too late. Terry's cry had already attracted the attention of the mutant crow king. Its piercing red eyes swiveled toward the Eiffel Tower, locking onto the source of the sound.

With a shrill, bone-chilling screech, the colossal bird unleashed a massive wind blade. The slicing gale sped toward the tower with terrifying force.

Whoosh!

The wind blade struck with precision, slicing through the Eiffel Tower as though it were made of paper. The upper section of the copy of iconic structure groaned under the force before collapsing. Metal screeched, and the severed portion plummeted toward the ground, twisting violently as it fell.

"Ahhh!" Terry, Kmart, and Jill screamed in unison, their panic drowning out the sound of the tower crumbling.

Alice, observing from a distance, acted instinctively. Her eyes sharpened with focus, and with a burst of telekinetic energy, she extended her control toward the falling trio. The invisible force caught them mid-air, suspending them above the chaos.

Terry, Jill, and Kmart exchanged terrified glances as their descent slowed. "What's happening?" Kmart whispered, still trembling.

Alice's telekinesis carefully maneuvered them toward her location, placing them on solid ground. Her gaze flicked between the trio and the mutant crow king. "Stay out of the way," she commanded, her tone cold and detached.

Meanwhile, on the battlefield, a massive crater had formed where William's body had landed. The ground was cracked and scorched, sand cascading into the pit. From within the depths, a hand emerged, followed by William himself. His body was battered, covered in lacerations and bruises, yet his movements remained steady. He rose slowly, shaking off the sand. His tattered clothing hung loosely, revealing deep, irregular cuts across his skin.

"Damn... that was something," William muttered, wincing as he examined his injuries. Despite the pain, his tone carried an unsettling calmness. He looked down at himself, relieved to find his "little brother" still intact. "Good... everything's still in one piece."

The mutant crow king screeched again, furious that its earlier attack hadn't obliterated its foe. Its crimson eyes burned with hatred, and it flapped its massive wings, creating another gust of wind that tore through the battlefield.

William's wounds began to heal rapidly. Streams of pink, shimmering particles emanated from his body, swirling around his injuries. Within seconds, his flesh knitted itself back together, leaving no trace of the damage.

Alice, watching from a safe distance, clenched her fists. "What is he? How is he still standing after that?"

William cracked his neck, a twisted grin spreading across his face. "Oh, this is just the beginning," he said, his voice rising with excitement. Seven streams of crimson energy erupted from his body, spiraling upward like sentient serpents. The particles began to coalesce, shaping into a towering figure.

In a matter of moments, William had transformed into a ten-meter-tall mechanical titan, his Transformer form fully realized. The metallic surface of his body gleamed in the sunlight, a terrifying contrast to the dark, swirling storm clouds above.

"What the hell is that?" Terry stammered, his jaw hanging open.

"He's a robot...?" Kmart said, her voice filled with disbelief.

Jill sighed, exasperated. "No, that's his Transformer form. He mentioned it before, though it still doesn't make sense."

Alice narrowed her eyes. "Human or not, he's dangerous. And I'm going to take him down."

Jill turned to her. "You don't get it, Alice. You can't beat him. Whatever power you have, he has it too—and more. The gap between you two is immeasurable."

Alice smirked faintly. "Everyone has a weakness. I'll find his."

Back in the pit, the mutant crow king was enraged. The enormous bird flapped its wings, summoning two towering tornadoes that roared toward William. The winds howled, tearing apart everything in their path.

William smirked, his massive mechanical form breaking into streams of Transformium particles. His body dispersed and reassembled in a flash, skillfully dodging the tornadoes. He landed on the edge of the pit, his mechanical limbs clanking as they reformed.

"You're just full of surprises," William remarked, his voice echoing through his metallic frame.

The mutant crow king responded with a sudden lunge, its sharp claws slashing across William's chest. Sparks erupted as the claws tore through his metal plating, leaving deep gashes.

William was thrown backward, crashing into the yellow sand with a thunderous impact. Smoke rose from his damaged form, and a faint crackle of electricity danced across his injuries.

But the crow king didn't press its advantage. Instead, it ascended into the sky, letting out a haunting, guttural cry.

From the horizon, a dark swarm began to form. Thousands of smaller crows—both black and white—appeared, flocking toward their master. The sky darkened as the horde gathered, their numbers overwhelming.

Jill listened to the cry, and frowned slightly. "This cry is a little different from before, is it possible? It's calling reinforcements," Jill realized, her voice tinged with dread.

"Not just reinforcements," Alice corrected. "It's controlling them."

The mutant crow king opened its massive beak, releasing an unnatural, magnetic pull. The smaller crows were drawn into its maw, devoured in an unrelenting frenzy. With every bird it consumed, the king's body began to morph and grow. Its black feathers turned darker, almost glossy, and its form expanded, becoming even more grotesque.

"This isn't good," Alice muttered. "It's mutating again."

The battle was far from over, and as the sky filled with the cries of countless crows, William's mechanical frame glinted ominously. "This is getting interesting," he said, his tone laced with anticipation. "Let's see what you've got."
