The air was thick enough to be cut with a rusty dagger, Bianca stared directly at Priscilla, her hands shaking with anger. She shot Lucia a dirty look before turning back toward the quaking Priscilla.
'What does the little attention whore want? Here to outdo me at this job as well? Steal this from me as well?'
'No...'
'I didn't fucking hear you, speak up. And don't you dare give me any attitude.'
'I said no!' Priscilla shut her eyes and blurted out her answer.
'Its good you know your place, I will beat you like I did to your brother-'
Metal clattered against the fabric walls, and feather arrows flew up and pointed directly at Bianca, in the blink of an eye this whole warehouse could be deleted. Priscilla's face was veiled by the shadows, only her starry rubellite eyes honed on Bianca like a crosshair, there was not a single thought going through her mind, all of her cells screamed in unison for vengeance.
The crack of a slap snapped Priscilla out of her trance, all of the feathers gently dropping to the ground. Bianca's face burned red in the shape of Lucia's hand, her brows furrowed threatening to go for a second if Bianca didn't stand down.
'What is this all about?' Silence clung to the stagnant air, her eyes danced between them waiting to get a response. Bianca put up her middle finger toward Priscilla, a single feather rose into the air. Lucia slapped her again, this time much harder, forcing her to the floor.
After several more hits Bianca was on the floor kneeling before the two of them, a large red bump sat in the middle of her forehead from all the slapping. Her hair was dishevelled but somehow all of the makeup remained intact.
Priscilla stepped forward, trying to muster up all of her confidence to bring back the memories she tried depressing. 'It all started when I transferred to her school, a couple of times I saw her name at the top of the academic leaderboard but I didn't pay it much mind. I minded my own business, kept to myself and studied diligently which brought me to first place.'
'Ha! Do you think you are smarter than me? You probably seduced the teacher!'
Lucia raised her hand ready to deliver another lethal slap, but Priscilla shook her head toward her.
'The reason it stung so much for her was that she was at the top of the academic leaderboard AND the queen bee, popular with all the guys and girls in the entire school. However, a scholarship to the most popular college is offered to students who rank first on the leaderboard. For several months it was only minor insults and dirty looks in the corridor...but one day.'
Lucia prepared herself to slap Bianca at the drop of a dime.
Priscilla began sniffling, her eyes growing pools of tears that bubbled but did not flow. 'She pulled my little brother outside during lunchtime, robbed him of his wheelchair and started kicking him on the ground. That bitch even broke his arm, the damages were enormous and the principal didn't bat an eye at our complaints. But despite everything we did not change schools, I bared everything.'
'So then how come the process for me to transfer you from that school to the one in Germany went so smoothly?'
'After that she called me out, telling me she would apologize for everything behind the school at night. I must not have been in my right mind and went along with it, once there however several guys ganged up on me, beating, spitting and degrading...it took me two months in the hospital before I could completely recover, but many mental wounds are still open.'
Lucia's eyes stared down at Bianca who had been sweating at this inevitable outcome. 'The bitch isn't wrong, she invaded my territory so I had to take action, I do admit the guys did go a little far though. Regardless of everything, you are not getting an apology.'
A vicious glint of light flashed across Lucia's eyes, from her satchel, she pulled out a small faceless puppet. Several needles from a box are hidden around the back, little prickles in the arms, and every finger and joint. Bianca held back her tears, refusing to back down for even a second, a look of defiance splattered across her face.
Two needles, much thicker than the others, flew directly into the puppet's eyes. 'AHHH!' While Lucia took much pleasure in this punishment, Priscilla stood back against the fabric wall. Anger circulated through her veins, every single cell in her body craved to inflict more damage on her, but she understood the consequences of hurting a real human.
'Priscilla, could you leave the tent for a little while? I have some things I must do.' Priscilla nodded and left promptly making sure to close the flaps of the tent. A cacophony of wails alerted nearby shopkeepers who huddled around the tent, Priscilla took action and assured it was Lucia inside. Before she could even her sentence everyone left, understanding Lucia was involved and someone suffering inside.
After a couple of minutes that felt like an eternity, Priscilla headed back inside where Bianca was hung from the ceiling struggling for air. Despite her contradicting emotions, she shot a needle through the thin rope dropping her onto the floor. Lucia stood impressed, hours previously she had practised her first spell and she had already come close to mastering it. Ideas bubbled in her mind about how to abuse Priscilla's emotions to achieve her goals.
Bianca stroked her throat trying to rid herself of the marks before school would start the next day. Her eyes were filled with fear staring into the much emptier eyes of Lucia, a chill in the air embraced her, cooling her entire body down from the pain that radiated from her hundreds of bruises. Quickly making sure all of them were hidden by clothes or a piece of fabric, a sigh of relief escaped her lips knowing no one would ask a question tomorrow.
'Just give me the items I ordered, I need them for Priscilla's training. We can have a more in-depth conversation after she leaves for Germany.' Lucia rubbed the corners of her eyes trying to relieve some of the stress.
'No, if these things benefit her in any way then I am not selling them to you. I am doing the witches of that school a favour.' Bianca crossed her arms and flashed a cheeky smile toward them.
Her wand shot forward a wind pellet piercing her forearm, a second forming a large hole in her leg and a third in her shoulder. 'You see, while Priscilla would hesitate on actions like these, I will not. So you either sell me the items and drink a healing potion, or you bleed out and I take the items by force.'
'F-fine, but I want to come along with you and see what this bitch- I mean witch can do.' Her attitude never wavered despite the situation she was in, staring up from the ground at two people who could eliminate her in the blink of an eye.
'Why would you want something like that?' Lucia was intrigued.
'I will not be outdone by her, there is no way she could perform better than me in every aspect. I bet that my spell-crafting ability is much higher than her.' She stood up on a single leg and puffed her chest out confidently.
'Well, I won't say no, but you have very little affinity to magic. For your sake don't expect to be able to perform even half as well as Priscilla.' Her cloack wished through the air throwing a splash potion of healing on Bianca, the red liquid staining her yellow dress. Bianca brunted the regeneration of the lost flesh, her consciousness nearly fading out completely.

As they approached the exit Bianca ran forward carrying a large bag of clothes, her attention was directly cast on Noir who was flirting with another familiar at a small coffee shop.
'Lucia? Do you mind if I sit in the front?' Priscilla looked down, her small little hand tugging at the grand witch's cloak.
'Not at all. I am sorry you had to bump into her like this. I had no clue you two knew each other.' Lucia placed a hand on her head, pulling her head close to herself.
'And...'
'And what Priscilla?'
'Can you teach me the nuke spell?'
'No..'
Lucia wandered over to the cafe and picked Noir up by his hoodie, dragging him along the ground toward the exit. Bianca followed close behind trying to grab Priscilla's attention by making funky gestures toward Noir.
As they were about to leave the building, Bianca snuck a kick to the back of Priscilla's knees knocking her over. Before she could retaliate Bianca ran away toward the car, placing herself beside Noir in the back.
Her lungs expanded, welcoming the night breeze, her red eyes staring at the night sky, pushing her hand up as if to grab the very heavens. She back towards the car being loaded up with various goods, a sense of dread filling her chest.
'What even am I?' Priscilla looked down at her hands, eleven dots spread across each hand totalling twenty-two little circles that were not there minutes ago.
Lucia whistled at her, beckoning her to jump in the car before leaving her behind. She shook her head and dashed toward the car, jumping in the front seat and staring forward toward the empty void that plagued the field. It would be best to keep those dots a secret for the time being.
