Yurei exhaled and finally withdrew her blades.
She took a step back silently and shifted her gaze from Ryuen to where she had dropped her cloak.
Ryuen also dropped his hands, his dagger vanished as usual, and he placed his cold hands into his pockets.
Relieved that the rest was over and he could finally rest—or eat.
He watched as she walked to the center of the hall, bent down to pick up her cloak, and then straightened herself and turned to him.
"I'm impressed, not going to lie," she began as she slipped into the cloak and smoothed her hair down.
"You passed, so you'll be able to get your citizenship documents, Guild membership ID, and a few other things."
"Call it a welcome package."
Ryuen smiled, although it didn't reach his eyes.
He was more bothered about why she wanted to see him where no one would see them.
A chuckle escaped his lips. "I see you aren't pleased with the fact I managed to match you."
