Like every single day after his morning cultivation, Edrick was having the excess body hair removed by Linmin, the fate of all that weight in fur? Anoteros knew very well that all three of his wives had pocketed some of it, because apparently, they were so addicted to him that even the daily care he showed them wasn't enough to keep them satisfied in his absence, they needed to have locks of his hair.

They were probably smelling or rubbing them on their faces, but that was fine.

As he was being shaved, Edrick was looked at the quest he had been working on, the progress had stayed good, and it now sat at a twenty-four out of twenty-five, just one more and it would be done, technically speaking, he could have completed other missions at the same time, however, he felt that his status within the sect was much too low for him to pull off this sort of things just yet, sleeping around was fine, but these were straight-up criminal.

Whilst some others required some set-up, or required him to aim higher than outer disciples, although Edrick was confident in his strength, inner disciples were supposed to be actual cultivators, save for Shu who was a hack.

He wasn't stupid enough to try anything with people who, for the majority, had been cultivating and training their skills for multiple years, the only ones he might prey on were those that were freshly promoted from the outer ranks.

'Mmh, I remember that I got handsomely rewarded when I took Fanqia for myself… I wonder if there are more love interests lying around that I could do something about…' unfortunately, the wisps of knowledge he had gotten from casual acts of depravity had been impressively useless to his current situation, hardly relating to the plot Xiao was supposed to follow.

So he could only make suppositions and guesses, unfortunately, Edrick had never really been into this type of stories in his old world, so predicting where the story was supposed to head to was not something he could be confident in doing.

"By the way, I saw that you have begun cultivating, how is it going?" he asked Linmin, although he could not see or sense it like Gang and Ku Xing could, Edrick knew through the crest of domination, which seemed to be flaring with more power since his wives began cultivating.

Hui's had been a slight bit more powerful than the others in the beginning, but it seemed like the techniques she was using weren't powerful enough to cause a big difference.

"It's going very well, Lord Edrick, whenever I cultivate, it feels like my crest gets warmer" responded Linmin with a small smile.

'Huh, does the crest of domination have more effects than listed?' he wondered, the description hadn't changed however.

Naturally, Linmin had picked up a sword cultivation technique, whilst Fanqia had decided on something that would help in her craftsmanship endeavours, going all in to the route of being more of a supporter, same for Hui, his first and third wives weren't good fighters anyways, it was pointless to force, some people just weren't good at certain things.

After he returned to looking like a human, Edrick decided to do some scouting for the day, first, he wanted to get a better idea of where Golden Teeth and his goons stayed at, he already knew the location, but he needed to know a bit more about their habits and the likes, they weren't actual criminals after all, Anoteros couldn't just waltz in and turn them all into red stains.

It was a good old venture like he enjoyed, but he didn't do that all day, he wanted to scout another place, which was the big forest near Oie, it wasn't nearly as easily exploitable as the one near Poule, the terrain was much more mountainous, there were next to no flat areas in there, and also, it was home to some dangerous beasts and monsters, not in abundance, and not the sort to come out of the woods to look for problems, but lacking in easily exploitable resources, it had been left unexplored by the authorities, making it a famed sandbox for adventurers, explorers, as well as a place where cultivators could find plants and other ingredients for free.

The adventurers would get paid to gather certain things, or sometimes bring back a certain type of creature.

The explorers, well, they would just be exploring, trying their luck deep in the forest to find something noteworthy.

Whilst the third group could be doing a whole lot of things, the free goodies were one thing, but some needed to be in nature to properly cultivate, whilst others wanted to train by fighting the wildlife, some even sought to seclude themselves in the forest's guts with for objective to emerge more powerful that they were going in.

In any case, Edrick wanted to check this place out, Hui had had a good point last time, he could absolutely pull some stuff under the guise of a sasquatch in there, the vegetation was dense in many areas, the trees were tall and thick, caves and holes in the ground were plentiful.

In fact, the second he set foot within the forest, he felt the Mountain Sasquatch Body's unique energy circulation activate itself without his own accord, flowing despite the fact that he wasn't sitting or holding his hands in the proper manner.

It wasn't actually doing anything, but clearly, the technique was resonating with the place.

Ku Xing had mentioned that if a technique was well-attuned or greatly trained, that it could sometime pull this sort of things, generally, it was a good sign and would be telling you that either cultivating in that environment would be of benefit, or that something else that could benefit the technique was nearby.

However, Anoteros could not speak cultivation technique language, he did not have a clue what exactly was getting it riled up like this.

'No matter, I'll be coming back anyways, the environment is good'

He walked around the edges of the forest for an hour or so, finding out that a whole lot of people were to be found in that area, coming in and out, the place was pretty big, but he guessed that following the path that went directly from Oie to the forest was bound to lead to encountering quite a lot of people.

This was good too, to do what he wanted to do, people were needed.

In any case, today was a day on which he had to go and see Ku Xing, which was never a hassle since that woman was an unending well of tips and tricks, as well as the perfect person to help him cultivate the encyclopedia techniques.

Also, he had asked her to get him some more weapons fit for his size and body structure like she had for the bow, to which she had readily agreed without problem, he guessed that it was a perk to being her godson, it was highly doubtful that Ku Xing would be even a quarter as nice with anyone else, regardless of how much she might like them…
