Time seemed to blur as days passed in Daniel's concealed cellar. Despite being well-stocked for weeks, the space felt claustrophobic. I wasn't accustomed to constant companionship, let alone the ceaseless strategizing that surrounded me.

I kept to myself mostly, watching the Obsidian Knights from afar. Daniel moved with efficiency, assigning roles and analyzing data on his monitors. His leadership was impressive, and I couldn't help but admire how he'd created such a unified group from nothing.

"Hey there," a voice broke my reverie. I turned to see Blake offering me a beverage. "Thought you might need this."

"I appreciate it," I replied, accepting the cup.

Blake leaned on the table, observing me with a relaxed grin. "You've been eyeing us pretty closely. Still trying to figure us out?"

"Perhaps," I confessed. "I'm not used to teamwork. I've always operated solo."
