"You're telling me you haven't even seen the bedroom yet?" Asuriel looked at him incredulously.
Vaerion nodded. "I haven't been home. I told them to prepare a room for you and gave them a list of necessities. Besides the few things on my list, I let them have creative liberty."
"Oh…" Asuriel didn't know what to say. She wasn't really planning on staying with Vaerion permanently. It was a way to put both of their minds at ease while they figured everything out.
It felt excessive to give her an entire bedroom… but she couldn't have guessed just how excessive it would be.
Darion and Kaine were patiently waiting outside the door. Naturally, it was right across the hall from Vaerion's den.
"Miss Asuriel," Darion greeted with a polite smile.
Kaine smiled toothily as he pushed open the door, "Asuriel! We decorated it, and you're gonna love it."
