Chapter 27: The Nun

[3rd POV] [2 Days Later, The Underworld]

Within a large, lavish mansion, the crimson skies above, painting the surroundings red, and a hellish landscape, a man sat within his office, crimson hair traveling down his back and side of his face, down to his back/chest. His bluish green eyes read through the newest report that his trusted Queen had given him. This man was Sirzech's Lucifer, previously Gremory. One of the 4 New Satans, and one of the most powerful beings alive, a Super Devil that was akin to a God.

Standing across from him was his most trusted subordinate, the Queen of his Peerage, and his "Maid". She had long silver hair cascading down her back, powerful red eyes, and a gorgeous, seductive figure befitting of a devil. She too radiated power, but not as much as Sirzechs Gremory, this was Grayfia Lucifuge the Strongest Queen, and a Satan Class devil.

"So Lord Zagan has been teaching both Sona and Rias, huh?" Sirzechs hummed, as he read the report. He remembered the news of the Zagan Lord killing the last of the Valac family, which had made a rather big storm in the council, thanks to their dislike of Lords dying out, especially one like the Valac one. Whereas they were all greedy for the Zagan families library, which would naturally be distributed amongst the Lords, should Lord Zagan ever die.

"She has. And it seems that the teachings have been quite rewarding for the two, with both of them jumping in power over the time they have been learning from her. I'd say that they're close to breaching into the realms of an Ultimate Class devil" Grayfia replied to her king, no emotion shown on her face, something she had done for a long time now.

"Serafall really needs to be more open about these things in the future..." Sirzech's muttered, remembering when one of his close friends, Serafall, had told him of Lord Zagan moving to Kuoh in order to teach Sona, and keep them safe from any sort of Fallen angel attack. It made sense, with attacks becoming more common over the past few months, but the fact that it was the Lord of one of the up and coming families, was a bit of a surprise.

Serafall was pretty secretive, especially in the past few months. She would look down at her devil phone giggling sometimes, would take pictures of herself in her magical girl costume all the time, and would leave abruptly after their meetings. The other Satan's had also noticed, but none of them felt it was their business to question it.

But now that Sirzechs knew of Lord Zagan teaching Serfall's sister, it became rather obvious that the two were close, very close.

"What of her knight, Lint?" Sirzechs asked, looking up at Grayfia.

"Kiba challenged her to a spar roughly a dozen times, and lost each and every time within only a few moments. He tried to challenge her again, but she denied the challenge, citing that he needs to be at least High Class in power to challenge her. I'd estimate she is Ultimate Class in power at the least" Grayfia responded, as Sirzechs nodded.

"About what I expected. Alright, Grayfia, I want you to get into contact with Morgan Zagan" Sirzechs said, as Grayfia couldn't help but ask.

"May I ask why?"

"Because I believe she will be the one to free my sister from that damned engagement to the Phenex. I also believe that if Serafall trusts her so much, then I should too" Sirzechs replied.

"And what shall I do once I get into contact with her?" Grayfia asked, as Sirzechs hummed.

"How about you stay in Kuoh for a bit? Take a break? I've got everything handled here, and Selena always loves to help me when I need it, whenever she's not busy with Millicas of course" Sirzech's said with a smile, knowing his wife, Selena, would be happy to help him.

Selena was one of the differences in this world that Morgan did not know of. Selena was a low class devil from a minor family, with little to no power, but she was one that Sirzcehs fell deeply in love with during the war, after watching her heal countless devils with her inborn ability.

So, to keep his wife and son safe, they used the cover of Grayfia being his significant other as protection, hiding Selena from the rest of the Underworld until they were ready to deal with the consequences of her reveal. She being the Strongest Queen, made it easy to use her as a cover, and Grayfia was completely willing, as Selena was one of her only true friends, and while she didn't have any sort of attraction to Sirzechs (not even the littlest bit, his personality was a bit..much for her) he was still her boss.

"A break? As your Queen, I have no such things" Grayfia replied, as she had, in all her years as his Queen, never actually had a break, not even a vacation or anything. She was quite...determined in that regard.

"Alright then, as your King, I order you to take a break in Kuoh, as well as meet with Lord Zagan. Don't lie to her about your intentions, as if the woman is half as smart as I've heard, she will see through our intentions immediately" Sirzechs said, as Grayfia fought back a glare, and nodded.

"...As you wish my King. I'll be off" Grayfia said, not liking this, but not being able to deny the order of her King, as she teleported off, leaving Sirzechs alone.

"...Well...let's hope Selena will actually help me with paperwork" Sirzechs muttered, paling at the literal mountains of paperwork in his office, enough paperwork that it was stacked in several piles, otherwise it'd be stacked to the roof.

As he watched another pile of paperwork appear through a small demonic circle, Sirzechs let out a small groan, one thought on his mind as he got back to work.

'...I've made a mistake'

'...I've made a great decision' Morgan had other thoughts at the moment, as after two days of waiting, the girl she had waited for had finally appeared, this girl being the ever adorable Asia Argento. A short teen with long golden blonde hair, and soft innocent green eyes. The girl had fallen over on her ways to the local (newly abandoned) Church, as she was supposed to meet the fallen angels there, only, they were all dead, or captured, waiting to be sent off to Serafall for her to deal with.

The fallen angels wanted her for her sacred gear, Twilight Healing, which was an incredibly powerful healing sacred gear that was probably the strongest healing sacred gear there was, with only the Sephiroth Graal surpassing it.

Leaning down, she softly pulled Asia to her feet, as the girl uttered a soft "U-Um, thank you" She nervously said, as Morgan smiled.

"It's quite alright, miss" Morgan said, as she picked up the veil that had fallen after the girl tripped over her own feet.

"I-Um...I lost my way, could you...could you help me?" Asia asked, as Morgan raised an eyebrow.

"I can, where is it you were heading to?" Morgan asked, as Asia looked to the side at the question.

"The local church" Asia replied, as she looked a little nervous under Morgan's gaze.

"The church? It's been abandoned for quite some time, sister" Morgan said, as she was indeed a nun, one that had been excommunicated from the church due to healing a devil.

"O-Oh" Asia muttered, looking down as tears began to well up in her eyes. Seeing this, Morgan smiled softly.

"How about we go and get you some food in that stomach of yours, and then we can see what we can do, hmm?" Morgan offered, as the girl looked up at her with wide eyes.

"But-But I wouldn't want to intrude!" Asia replied in surprise.

"It's nothing, kid, really. Now cmon, let's get you something to eat. Oh, and my name is Morgan Zagan" Morgan said with a warm smile, as Asia looked up at her in slight awe at her kindness.

"I-I am Asia Argento, it's nice to meet you Morgan-san!" Asia bowed, as Morgan just laughed, ruffling her hair as she began to walk off.

"Well, you coming, or do you not want to try a burger?" Morgan asked, as Asia looked at her before chasing after, a small look of excitement on her face at the prospect of eating something like that.

Sitting in a local burger place, Morgan watched in amusement as Asia gleefully bit into the tasty burger, sighs escaping her lips as she munched on it and the fries that it came with, only to start coughing, forcing her to drink some water.

"So, Asia, what is someone like you doing in Kuoh of all places?" Morgan asked, as Asia looked up at her.

"Oh um...I...um, I helped someone that the church didn't want me to. They got mad and made me come here, but it's okay, because it must be the Lord's will that I'm here!" Asia said, with a bright (fake) smile.

"Ah, you healed a devil didn't you?" Morgan asked, as Asia looked at her in surprise.

"You know of them?" Asia asked. As devils and the supernatural wasn't exactly common knowledge, and was supposed to be a big secret that only those a part of the supernatural knew of, and yet, this woman did.

"Asia, I am one of them" Morgan said simply, her eyes glowing slightly as Asia's eyes widened. This answered the question of how and why Morgan knew about the devils and supernatural.

"Oh wow! I didn't think Miss Morgan would be a devil, but I guess even devils can be kind!" Asia said, a bright smile on her face, not minding that Morgan was a devil. That was just how Asia was, ever kind, and uncaring that someone was a devil, human, or even fallen angel, as long as they weren't an evil person.

"I'm glad you think so, Asia. It's too bad that they kicked you out simply because you healed a devil, because from my point of view, you seem like a sweet, kind girl. They've made quite the mistake" Morgan said with a shake of her head, as it was true.

Asia kept silent at this statement, a small smile forming at the warmth that Morgan was showing her, warmth that she had never received in her entire life. For most of her life they had looked down upon her, even hating and bullying her, all for little to no reason.

"What do you plan on doing since the church isn't habitable?" Morgan asked Asia, as she looked at her with a small smile.

"I don't know, but I'm sure I'll find a way! The Lord will do whatever is best for me!" Asia said, as Morgan hummed. She wanted Asia to stay with her if possible, as she did want her in her peerage, as her sacred gear would be extremely helpful to her, as Valerie's gear was...a bit dangerous to show, as Rizevim Lucifer was looking for the gear, and it would be immensely dangerous for her to reveal herself, at least until Morgan was strong enough to crush the man like a bug, which she was far from being able to accomplish.

"Hmm, how about you stay with me? I've got a big home that has tons of empty rooms, and I don't mind letting you stay with me" Morgan replied, as Asia's eyes widened.

"You-you'd be willing to do that?" Asia asked in surprise.

"Yeah, why not? You seem like a sweet girl, and I've got nothing better to do with the rooms. Unless you don't want to stay with a devil?" Morgan asked, as Asia shook her head.

"No, no I'd love to stay with you, b-" "Great! We'll get you situated after you're done eating" Morgan cut her off with a smile, as Asia couldn't refute her, only looking at her with tears in her eyes, before beginning to get back to eating, all the while, Morgan had one thought on her mind.

'...Step 1 of getting a new bishop is complete!'

The next chapter will probably be the recruitment of Asia, and the first meeting with Grayfia. As said before, Asia likely won't be in the harem, but will instead be Morgan's cute little sister who she'll spoil to hell and back.
