Ever since Liam was a kid, he had the ability to travel to a different world in his dream, where he was in a fantasy world, living a different life. Whenever he died in the dream, he would wake up in the real world. 

It became so normal for him that he would often look forward to sleeping to live a different life for the night. However, one time, he died and didn’t wake up in the real world.

“This can’t be happening! If I miss the evaluation day, I won’t be able to join any guild and start my hero journey! I must die!”

That's when a screen appeared in front of his eyes.

The evaluation began, and a towering F Rank Ogre materialized before Liam. The creature roared, its massive fists pounding against its chest as it charged. Liam stood his ground, his grip tightening on the heavy sword. As the ogre lunged, Liam moved with a fluid grace that belied the weight of his weapon. He spun, the heavy sword arcing through the air with a whistling sound, and the ogre's head was cleanly severed from its body. The creature collapsed, its form dissolving into pixels.
