Synopsis

Ever since Liam was a kid, he had the ability to travel to a different world in his dream, where he was in a fantasy world, living a different life. Whenever he died in the dream, he would wake up in the real world.

It became so normal for him that he would often look forward to sleeping to live a different life for the night. However, one time, he died and didn’t wake up in the real world.

“This can’t be happening! If I miss the evaluation day, I won’t be able to join any guild and start my hero journey! I must die!”

That's when a screen appeared in front of his eyes.

[If you wish to return, you must finish the quests!]

I've been writing novels for over five years, and now I bring you my take on the Cultivation/ Murim/ Xianxia genre. The story unfolds across two realms—a modern, apocalyptic Earth and a mystical Murim world. Liam, our main character, holds a rare power: he can travel between these worlds. Every gain he makes in Murim evolves his body in the real world. As for the FAQs. 1. Yes, Romance and harem elements appear, but they aren't the main focus. 2. Yes, there will be occasional smut here and there. 3. Yes, Gore and violence are part of the tale. 4. Yes, The novel is dark and might make you question your own limits. 5. Yes, MC will be smart, calm and collective. And sometimes ruthless, merciless, and reckless when needed. 6. Yes, There are mind-boggling plot twists. If you've read my other works, you know what I mean. 7. Yes, it is not a slow paced novel. Fights and phucks won’t drag out for multiple chapters. 8. Yes, it will be updated daily with occasional mass release on weekends. 9. Yes, the writing quality will be top-notch. 10. Yes, you should definitely read this.

An interesting spin on a cultivation type story that almost doesn't feel like it & with a feel of fantasy on the side. I can't think of spelling/grammar mistakes as they don't stand out, if there are any. It's harsh and gruesome from the start but absolutely captivating trying to figure out what is go on without feeling teased with the lack of information or explanation. The 'personality' of the system is enjoyable for the writing creativity but I can't decide if I want to cheer for it or hate on it. It's a very well written style of a system. The MC might be a good guy deep down inside but there's some dark or gray spots that are easy to see in his actions. Very much looking forward to more. (there is some pretty steamy scenes for those that enjoy that level of culture) Knockout story

So, I've been holding on to this review for more than a month now. As a beta reader, I do believe that this is one of the best ones in the genre of "two worlds". It balances the two worlds quite well, it knows when to drag the story in the other world while still making the other world interesting. I look forward to whenever he goes from one world to the next to see what shenanigans will be next. Great read.

This is a captivating journey that blurs the lines between dreams and reality, immersing readers in a world where the stakes are as high as the imagination can soar. From the very first page, I was drawn into Liam's unique story. This is enough proof that the author has masterfully crafted this narrative and that it is not just a tale of adventure; it's a poignant reminder of the importance of pursuing our dreams, even when faced with seemingly insurmountable obstacles. I found myself rooting for Liam every step of the way, and the twists and turns of his journey left me both satisfied and eager for more. If you're a fan of fantasy, adventure, or stories that challenge the boundaries of reality, then this is a must-read.

Doing my job as a responsible reader reviewing novels that say “Yes, this novel is dark and will make you question your limits” when dark is just a genre male authors like to use when they torment female characters in their novels. Even in Esper, the author thought it was necessary for the women in question to have gone through the most trauma to push the plot. I’ll be happier when this isn’t as normalized honestly
