Oliver was an overworked and exhausted man, who dies from caffeine overdose and awakens in a world as Alex, the son of scientist. In this world humanity have been locked in a constant war with darkness, a force that spawns twisted creatures called dark crawlers and corrupts humans into monsters known as the corrupted.



Only the Saints, users of inner light, and the Marines, warriors that have darkness merged to them, stand against it. Born with an unusual amount of darkness, Alex gains a rare power that allows him to push its limits of his darkness beyond what any marine could — with the help of the system helps him remain in control.
