Claude S. Bowman is a nobody living with his mother. He is utterly dissatisfied with everything in his life. His apartment in New York had burned down, he doesn’t find any satisfaction in his work, and he doesn’t feel as connected to the people around him. Life just seemed to be getting worse.

But then one day, on March 12, 2027, a huge demonic portal opens in the middle of Central Park, unleashing a horde of demons into the world. To combat this strange threat, the government creates the Demon Extermination Force, to face and fight these wicked demons.

Claude, seeing a new opportunity to reinvent himself, to acquire a better life and new life purpose, signs up. In just 2 weeks, he is brought as a Rookie Operator, and is sent on missions to combat various threats across the country.
