This is a wholesome comedic story, but it has some dark moments.
The focus is on kingdom building, survival as an empire, and interacting with MC’s beautiful bee wife and adorable bee daughters.
The bees are all humanoid (see pictures) and human-sized. However, they are still bees in their ways of life and mentality.
Although there’s a system, real growth comes from putting effort and time. Nothing happens in an instant in this story, unless it’s trouble.
MC acts like an idiot sometimes (oftentimes), but he’s not actually stupid-stupid. When it comes to strategic decisions, he uses logic and reason. Even if you might disagree with it.
Also, there will be no smut (ecchi is a fair game), incest, NTR, harem or BL.

I really enjoyed this novel so far and greatly recommend it. Writing quality: it is simply great. I can’t remember any significant mistake. Update stability: to soon to tell, but great so far. Story development: I enjoyed it a lot as the story contains elements such as Kingdom building coupled with a good pacing. Character development: the relationship of the MC with the queen and all their daughters is really well done in my opinion. The only negative point is I think the MC is sometimes a bit too much of an idiot. The author however is bot trying to portray him as a serious character, so I did not find it too annoying. World background: too soon to tell as of chapter 85, but good so far
A genuinely great novel. To all reading this reviews, just give it a try for at least 10-20 chapters to have your own opinion on this book. At the very least, even if you dont like it you wont feel like you wasted your time. Now for the rating : World building : its good, as the story developp so does the information we have on the world outside the first hive. As for detail when describing place, its in the good range being not too little but also not too specific to the point of being boring. Story : we follow the mc developping his bee empire like the title say. So far its been great, the mc actually stick to this goal which is nice. (even if thats fueled by one big incensitive lol) Character : the side character feels alive and 3D, they arent just a one time appearance or useless deadweight who cant do anything without the mc. They will make you feel things, be it joy or sadness. For the female lead and main character : The strongest point of this novel in my opinion is the female lead Ambrosia. Are you tired of female lead who are just dumb, hit the mc at every opportunity, act like children, need to be saved ever single time, and dont act like their character setting would suggest? Rejoice! Here Ambrosia actually act like a Queen bee. She make growing her hive the number one priority and actually act like it. She can be stern but caring, she actually is smart, rational and mature. She sees when the mc feels down and help him. Tldr she is just a great character overall and a breath of fresh air. As for Nectus, he is fine, maybe you will find him stupid and à bit annoying at first, but give it some chapter and he will become better. (main reason why im saying to give it at least 10-20 chapter before judging). Uploading : great consistency rn, two chapters per day. To end this review, i would like to thank the author for all the effort he put in this novel and i hope with this review i gave you at least the motivation to give this great novel a try. I really like this story, it reminds me of Ant bully (pixar movie). Yes I know the MC wasn't bullying the beez, but the concept is in that vein. What got me hooked was the concept of passive upgrades to his offspring, and to the queen. That is a very unique concept that I had not seen in any WN book before. This is a great start, and I really hope the author continues to expand this story. I enjoyed reading the first 7 chapters. Gotta say, "Chef's Kiss" !
Nice story. Fun read so far, love the premise. I love even more the idea of these silly daughters dancing doing a funny little butt wiggle to communicate food locations. I hope the writing continues to improve and that the story is more and more cute bee daughters fun dance time.[img=update]

I read this novel up to chapter 37 and all I can say is that this novel is awesome. Wall-made kingdom-building with come mostly from Mc's hard work. The book greatly shows the cultural differences in seeing the world by bee society and human one and the culture shock that comes from it and how hard sometimes is to adjust to a new group of people with so different way of seeing the world from you. Mc is amiable, he is not fearless but he won't let fear impact his decisions and he takes actions that may take his life but are necessary for him and all of his community to survive and prosper. He also knows a lot of things and doesn't rely only on his cheat to survive. Moreover, he is an excellent leader and hard-working person. The author shows us the hardship of living longer than your loved ones and our book hero's way of dealing with it. The other important character is interesting and well-made so the story isn't shallow, but the author could give more second-cast characters and improve the development of the existing one, but this could be made later. We do not know much about the world right now but there were happening so many things that this could be justified, but there is a need for one if this book wants to be as good as it is right now. As for updates, they are mostly regular. Overall this is marvelous work and it needs to be known to many more WN members. I can recommend it to any kingdom-building and non-harem likers out there who are searching for a good story to enjoy with a cup of tea.

A good story with a solid grasp of bees and other insects' workings. There is one arc I enjoyed less than the others, though. It's just a matter of personal preferences and things are getting serious now, so it's already forgotten. Keep up the good job author and I wish you success. :)
I really like the drone bee father. he gets to use a unique system to make his bee offspring stronger, as he does. they have bee battles & they evolve ! so cool ! I can't wait for next chapters !
