Chapter 11: Star Mall (2)

"Hi! Welcome to Frok's Potion Store!"

As soon as Kyrell entered one of the potion stores, he was immediately greeted by an enthusiastic female attendant. These attendants have sharp eyes.

They can see that Kyrell is not a pauper. Not everyone could buy the designer clothes he was wearing nor could everyone afford to have a servant.

Although the Evander Family is a minor clan, it is relative to the truly powerful clans. In fact, in the entire Thousand Mountain City, there are not many factions with a Spirit Nourisher Cultivator.

The reason why the Evander Family is a minor clan is because before Fraser appeared, no one in the clan was a Spirit Nourisher Cultivator. Not to mention, it hasn't been long since the Patriarch reached such a cultivation level.

There are 9 small realms within the realm and the difference between each small realms especially for such a high realm was huge and not easy to breach.

Not to mention, there are also not that many cultivators in the clan at the Genetic Strengthener Realm.

Since both the high-end, and mid-level cultivators of the clan paled in comparison to the large forces, how can the Evander Family compare?

But still, to have even one Spirit Nourisher Cultivator is already enough to make the force one of the 'Nobility' as not many forces have such a powerful cultivator. In Thousand Mountain City, there are less than 40 forces with such a high-end combatant.

Hence, Kyrell can be said to be a rich Young Master. The demeanor he has along with the designer clothes he is wearing clearly shows that. How can the attendants not be enthusiastic and try to curry his favor?

"Hmm, thank you. I can shop on my own" Kyrell acknowledged the attendant but he preferred it if he was not being pestered.

Even back on earth, when shopping, Kyrell doesn't like it when the sales lady or salesman constantly follows him. It ruins the experience.

Of course, he knew that it was their job and these people might not have a choice but he still doesn't like it. He just won't show it in his words or actions.

"Very well, Young Master" the female attendant was disappointed but she still gave up.

If she doesn't then what was she supposed to do? Irritate a man who can probably silently kill her if he wants? She was not that stupid.

"Hehe, Young Master, your charm is still as outstanding as usual. Tsk, tsk, that female attendant was so disappointed" Melissa teased, causing Kyrell to flick her forehead.

"When did you learn to tease your Young Master?" Kyrell asked playfully and Melissa stuck her tongue out in reply.

Melissa watched Kyrell grow up and was very loyal. Naturally, the two of them are close. She was a servant who could definitely act coy in front of him.

After a short interruption, Kyrell stared at the rows of cabinets containing potions. These cabinets have transparent reinforced glass to enable to buyer to see the potions

"They really are careful. Well, I couldn't blame them. Just look at their cheapest healing and mana recovery potion, they are already around ten thousand dollars. That is 2/3 of a normal worker's salary" Kyrell can't help but sigh.

Just the low-level 1st stage healing and mana recovery potion is already that expensive. These potions are usable for cultivators at the early stage of the Genetic Awaker Realm and are consumables.

For those in the mid and late stages, they have to use mid-level and high-level 1st stage potions for maximum effectiveness. Using a low-level potion would take too long to achieve their desired effect.

"$10,000 for low-level potions, $50,000 for mid-level potions, and a staggering $100,000 for high-level potions. This is just the price of a basic potion"

"For the Mana Essence Potion which was extremely important, it is already $100,000 for the low-level one, $300,000 for mid-level, and $800,000 for high-level"

"There are also potions that are improved and slightly better than the standard potions in the market and they are even more expensive"

"I don't even dare look at potions for Generic Strengthener Realm. They definitely would be in millions or even billions!"

Kyrell cannot help but shudder at the price of these potions. The suitcase of potions he was given by his father must have been more than a million in price After all, there were several Mana Essence Potion mixed in it and each one is priced at a hundred thousand.

While Kyrell is a rich young master, he only has a few million of funds which was already enough to buy a house in the city. But here, just buying a few high-level potions is enough to bankrupt him.

"No wonder after receiving the suitcase, the Elders tried to probe me after just a few days. Indeed, one more cultivator is one less resource for the others. Since I am the Patriarch's son, the resources I can receive are even more compared to most which means fewer resources for the others"

"I really need to think of a way to become self-sufficient. While I can still be greatly supported by the clan while I am still in the Genetic Awakener Realm, things definitely would be different once I reached the Genetic Strengthener Realm"

Kyrell's heart burned with the desire to earn money and he started reading the description of the various potions in the store

"Low-level mana recovery potion, on average, can help the cultivator recover 10% of their mana at initial consumption and to recover at 100% at least 1 hour is needed"

"Low-level healing potion, on average can heal minor and shallow wounds in an hour. For moderate injuries, it would take several hours. As for deep wounds, they need more than one potion and several days of rest. As for fatal damages... a normal healing potion is not enough to help"

"Mana Essence Potion. Depending on the cultivator's talent, the digestion can take from as short as a few days to a few months. One potion is enough for normal people to go from the 1st level to the 2nd level of the Genetic Awakener Realm. However, for those with higher mana capacity than normal people, more potion is needed"

"Hmm, although my cultivation talent is weak, it seems like I am not that hopeless. According to Zero's analysis, I will need to digest at least 3 potions to reach the second level"

"Hmm, maybe this is actually the reason why I have slow cultivation speed? My physique's ability to digest Mana Essence Potion is slow but my mana capacity is high?"

Although most of these potion's effects are already known by Kyrell, it's not like just knowing something enables a person to solve problems in front of them immediately.

Sometimes, you know the information/knowledge to answer an exam's question but since the wordings are different, you aren't able to immediately recall what you studied.

It was the same, knowing is not always enough to solve cultivation problems. One must also be able to effectively use the knowledge they digested.

"With Zero's help, I can digest one potion in a few weeks. If I need to digest three or more, that would definitely take more than a month. Fortunately, it is recommended to stay for a longer time while still in the 1st level and it would be seen as normal"

"The higher the cultivation rank, the more mana a cultivator has. It is easier to learn how to control mana when a cultivator doesn't have much. Just like how it is easier to handle a glass of water rather than an entire ocean"

"There are even cultivators born with so much mana it interfered with their cultivation. Finding it hard to effectively control mana"

Instead of buying potions, it seems like Kyrell was here to read. He decided to read the descriptions of the potions he could see to refresh his brain.

Zero's analytical skills were superb but in the end, it was a rigid program. It does not have the complexity of the human brain.

"Young Master, are you here to buy potions or for sightseeing?" Melissa lamented in her heart. She doesn't understand why Kyrell has to read each potion's descriptions when he surely already learned these things before

"Sigh... as a world with many cultivators, many potions are already invented. Even with the mindset of an earthling, it is not easy to think of a unique but realistic product unless I have great skill and power" Kyrell thought with a sigh.

It seems like he was too optimistic and arrogant. He doesn't have much knowledge when it comes to potion making but he thought he could think of a unique product with the unique mindset that he has.

Unfortunately for him, reality proved him wrong. As cultivators, how can these people not know what they need and want?

"It seems like I can only focus on trying to improve the already available products in the market but even this will take time. I first need to learn the art of potion making first to enrich my foundation"
