"I think, despite all their efforts to stop you, they've only slowed you down. They are moving faster now that I'm back," Matias commented softly.

"What makes you think that?" Aleksasha asked, uncertain of why her husband seemed so confident in this moment that this was the truth.

He smiled warmly at her. "Because, like a lovely woman, I have the ability to see and feel things too." 

She blinked, taken back by that answer. "What other abilities do you have?" She asked, sitting slightly up on her side to look at him more carefully. "Hopefully, they helped you in the war… I can't imagine seeing magic was as helpful to you in regular battle." 

"It's different in everyone of us but…" He hesitated as his eyes traced the curve of her lips, and her cheek. 

"Please, I want to know. No more secrets, Matt." She urged.
