Rescue Pt. 2

Hiding somewhat behind a tree, I watched the scene. Five people were doing their best to fight off the attacks of a large spider monster. The Spider's pincers hit an invisible barrier as cracks formed across it while the other limbs tried to stab through it. As two people held up their hands, A man holding a necklace on his neck emitted a golden glow, and a woman holding a wand emitted a dark grey light. A Short, stocky man had a hammer in both hands while standing in front of the two, straining themselves from what I could tell, the two keeping the barrier up. Then, a male archer with blonde hair had his bow pulled taunt as an arrow was pointed at the Spider monster. Then, another man stood before everyone, holding a large shield.

So, the man with the necklace is most likely a healer. The man with the bow is probably a rogue—the man with the shield and the other with the hammer are most likely warriors. Obviously, like me, the woman with the wand is a caster.

Taking a deep breath, I focused on just knowing some basic information. The initialization clarified that my solar system was one of many, so I don't even know if they are human. I'll help them either way, but I don't know their levels.

[You have cast Analyze Lv. 10]

Looking at the man with the hammer, I moved from one person to another till I looked straight at the Spider.

"They won't make it if I don't act; no matter how many there are, they will die."

With that thought, I looked at the information I got and grabbed my wand as My mana pool emptied.

{WARRIOR} [Race: Dwarf Level: 3]

{SHEILD WARRIOR} [Race: Human Level: 4]

{CASTER} [Race: Half-elf Level: 3]

{HEALER} [Race: Human Level: 5]

{Archer} [Race: Foxkin Beastfolk Level: 2]

{MONSTER} [Huntsman Spider Level: 12]

The two holding the barrier won't be able to keep up, and the other fighters are not at a high enough level. Taking a deep breath, i knew there was a chance they would start attacking together with me, but would they help or sacrifice me to survive by running? Although I could probably survive no matter how high of a level monster I have fought, i can't get overly confident. Plenty of monsters overestimate themselves, fighting other monsters only to get killed. Not that I know the thought process of monsters attacking each other, even if there is a level difference.

With that, I focused on the mana pouring out of me as I started focusing on what I wanted to cast.

As the Spider attacked the shield, vines moved, wrapping around its limbs as thorns as long as daggers embedded themselves into the Spider's limbs as it released a horrified shriek of pain. Its pincers and legs pulled away, trying to escape while easily breaking the vines. Once more, vines wrapped around the Spider, and the abdomen bled heavily as it got pulled back. The hissing Spider roared in pain as it kept breaking the vines.

Rodrick

We were preparing to have to fight back against the beast. But vines with sharp dagger-like thorns wrapped around the limbs of the Spider. It was getting pulled and shredded as it was being pulled back. Although I turned to look at Clara, I saw her expression. She didn't cast this, but we need to do something. The Spider pulled its limbs, breaking the vines as it was wrapped around once more, pulling it away as its admin was cut and stabbed as yellow blood poured forth as it was pulled back, splashing the blood on the barrier.

"Attack Now!"

With his yell, the barriers went down, and Clara fell back. Her mana was most likely depleted, and she vomited before gathering herself and grabbing her dagger. When the barrier was down, Chris released his arrow as sparks of flame wrapped around the tip, setting the fur on the Spider's body to catch fire, although it did not spread when it pierced the abdomen as he pulled back and released another arrow. Charles quivered slightly before taking a deep breath, strengthening his resolve, doing his best to stay safe and replenish his resources to heal when necessary.

Arnold roared as he rushed forward, keeping the Spider away from the others with his shield. I ran around behind, swinging My hammer into the Spider as I tried to break the Spider's limbs. The crushing of the limbs that my hammer slammed into was like a paste when I lifted my hammer once more as I dodged a limb striking over to me, cutting my side. Groaning in pain, I stepped back when a golden glow coated my body as my wounds healed. Before I could get my bearings, Arnold, out of my view, was thrown into a tree, causing a cracking sound when and was limp.

"Charles Check on Arnold. Clara, when you get enough mana, try to enhance the vines so they don't break. Chris shoot for its eyes to blind the bastard. I'll keep it focused on myself."

With that, I started smashing the limbs of the Spider once more, my commands being followed. Clara was unable to help as her mana wasn't replenishing fast enough. The vines started attacking the face of the Spider, and they stabbed into the body and face of the Spider. Chris shot more arrows into the face and body. The Spider was blinded before one final hit landed on the body of the Spider as it fell over dead.

Grace

Stepping through the trees as the Spider was dead, I was cautious as I saw the healer resting the unconscious man's head on his lap like everyone. They were exhausted as the man, I assume, was the leader and seemed guarded.

A male Dwarf with a beard shorter than described in fiction, his hair a dull brown at the top of his head, short cropped hair, and several marks marred his face. He holds the cammer with both hands in a way that isn't threatening but still guarded. I heard him shout in a European accent, but what surprised me more was that I knew what he was saying.

"Come out now so we can meet the one who saved us."

Taking a deep breath, I know it's strange, but I nervously stepped out, put my wand away, and put my hands up to appear non-threatening.
