Holding the edge of the bed, her feet touched the ground, sending a sharp sting to her thigh.
"Stupid snake!" she hissed, taking a step towards the door. But she was greeted by another sting.
And then another.
Each step she took was a pain but she wanted out of that room.
She had a lot of questions.
Like if Eden and lord Hencler have left.
Though their departure would not assure her safety. Those monsters would keep their men lurking around, waiting to kill her.
But after all that she has survived in and outside this castle, she would not let them take her life.
Not so easily.
By the time she got to the door, the pain had subsided to a bearable level.
"Rihro," she said when her eyes landed on the muscly guard standing outside the door.
