''Probably,'' She whispered as her mind then replayed what happened yesterday.

''I am just happy that you are back to being spoiled excessively by me. My heart tore out of my chest when he said you were heading towards the dungeons. I thought, with each pound of my paws on the snow, that if I was a minute late I could lose my precious girl to the demons and I will never remain the same again. Ever.''

Charlotte still couldn't comprehend the extent of how Evangeline was adored in this world. It was starting to feel welcoming than the world she came from.

''We would give you time to think about your decision on rejecting your mate. I believe you are still overwhelmed by everything. I will tell your father to provide some sort of comfort to Alpha Jack because he seemed not to be taking this rejection from you as good as you are taking it.
