Luna's movements were a dance of precision and power. She swung her sword in a wide arc, feeling the satisfying whoosh of the blade cutting through the air. As her feet touched the ground, her landing was flawless. With a mere thought, she willed her sword to shrink back to its compact form.
A brilliant idea sparked in her mind, and she knew she had to share it with Ignatius. He had been looking so depressed ever since he'd seen Clair at the party. Luna didn't hate the woman, but she didn't think Clair was the right match for Ignatius. He belonged to her, and she would only share him with someone she deemed qualified. Clair, in her mind, was not. Besides, Luna suspected that Marcus had feelings for Clair. Though Clair seemed too oblivious to notice.
Luna placed her brush on the table. Turning her attention to Elysia, who lay sleeping. They had talked until midnight, and Luna wanted to give her some more rest. She bent down and kissed her softly on the lips, then headed towards Ignatius's room.
"Knock, knock," she called out, but there was no answer. She pushed the door open and found Ignatius typing away like a madman, his fingers a blur on the keyboard. Christie was still asleep. And Zarkon seated in the corner, bowing his head in contemplation. Luna turned Ignatius's head towards her and kissed him.
"We need to break into Evan's house," she said, sitting on the bed.
"That sounds good," Ignatius replied, walking over to join her.
Half an hour later, they found themselves hiding in a tree, watching Evan's house. Ignatius's stomach growled. He looked down at Luna sitting against the tree trunk. She had a view down the street. He stood before her holding on to a Branche above him. He had a view of the front of the house.
"We should have eaten," he complained.
"I am bored," Luna complained. leaning her head back against the tree. Then pulled Ignatius closer by his pants. "I need more if you do not mind husband." She took him into her mouth.
"I know you ask every five minutes," Ignatius said. "I am not complaining. You are amazing at it. It's just I should have brought a meat pie or two."
She suddenly remembered something. "I forgot to wake Elysia for work."
"She needs the sleep. Magnus has been putting a lot of pressure on her," Ignatius said, touching the camera in his bag.
The door to Evan's house opened. Evan emerged with a human woman on his arm, one of the waitresses from the bar he frequented. "There he is" Ignatius whispered.
"Let me finish first please." Luna pleaded.
"Please do my love do not hold back." Ignatius groaned.
Luna zipped up his pants and then stood with Ignatius's help pulling her up.
"Now," Luna whispered, jumping down and righting her skirt. Ignatius followed suit, rushing to the house.
"We should enter from the back door," Ignatius suggested, crouching as he shuffled to the back of the house. The trees and bushes provided them with cover from prying eyes. Luna bent over before him shuffling towards the back of the yard. Ignatius wondered why she would wear white transparent lace panties. With her short black skirt and blouse. You could see them a mile away.
Luna pulled a lock-picking set from her handbag.
"Why do you have that?" Ignatius asked, curiosity piqued.
"Part of my detective kit," Luna lied. In truth, she had bought the set to get out of cuffs at orgies.
After ten minutes of careful manoeuvring, a "click" sounded. Luna pushed open the door, and they slipped inside.
"We should go to his closet," Ignatius said, urging her on.
They moved through the house, aware that they were there illegally. Luna opened the closet door, revealing Evan's usual attire. The floor of the closet was cluttered with boxes and bags of old clothes.
"Hand them to me," Ignatius instructed.
"Did you hear that," Ignatius whispered. Luna turned around her hand full of bags. Voices came from the front of the house. She placed the bags down. We should hide, she whispered. "Click." the front door opened.
"Do you remember where you left it?" Evan's voice was loud in the house. Footsteps came closer through the corridor. Luna held Ignatius. He felt her tremble as she stared at the door.
"In the study." A woman's voice said near the door. Did you leave anything else behind? Evan asked. His footsteps came closer. "I will check my room."
"What now," Luna whispered hiding behind Ignatius peering at the door. "No, wait Evan." the woman said. Are you sure he said standing at the door? Ignatius held his breath Luna had stopped breathing. Evan did not look in their direction. "I will be late if we linger here." The woman said.
"Okay, you win," Evan said as he walked to the front of the house. The door closed and he locked the door. Luna exhaled sitting on the floor. Ignatius exhaled breathing in the free air. "That was close," Luna said. Her legs spread wide leaning back, her hands on the floor.
We should continue searching before he returns Ignatius said closing her legs.
"Do you like?" Luna said on hands and knees back in the closet.
"Yes, they get my approval," Ignatius said. Brushing his fingers through her hair. His heartbeat was fast. She is safe and that's all that matters he thought.
Luna handed over the bags and boxes, and Ignatius searched through them. Luna spotted what they were looking for.
"There they are!" she said excitedly, clapping her hands.
"Shhh," Ignatius hushed her, holding his finger to his lips.
Luna smiled apologetically. "Sorry," she whispered.
The shoes they had seen in the news article. Tucked away in the back right corner, covered with bags of old clothes. Ignatius took out the camera and snapped several pictures. Ensuring he got clear shots of the room and the shoes.
They packed everything back, trying to leave it as they had found it. Satisfied with their work. They made their way out of the house, their mission accomplished.

Elysia stretched out, feeling the cool morning air on her skin. She turned her head, but Luna was gone. Pushing herself up.
Ignatius entered the room, followed by Luna. Zarkon pushed a trolley full of food with a big jug of milk. "Good morning, Daughter," Zarkon said, beaming. Christie came in with plates in her hand. "We have found evidence," Luna said, kissing Elysia.
Ignatius placed the camera on the nightstand, and images projected against the wall. "Those are the shoes from the stabbing," Elysia said. Ignatius kissed her, enveloping her in his arms. "Magnus will be pleased to see that you have found a clue."
"Oh, Luna," Elysia said, kissing her. "Ignatius, you're wonderful." She kissed him, straddling him. "Breakfast can wait," Elysia said, holding Luna's head and kissing her as she rode Ignatius.
Forty minutes later, Luna scooped sauce from her plate with a fresh roll. "You should hand this over to Magnus the beast."
"Wait, why not secure the shoes and hold on to them?" Ignatius said. "They do not show that he had killed John. We need more than this," Elysia said.
"This is a beginning," Luna said. "We had nothing, now we have something."
"You are right, Luna," Ignatius said as he brushed his hand through her hair.
Luna, can you get me back into his house? Elysia asked. No problem, Luna grinned. Come with me to Judge Rose she will sign a search and seizure warrant for me. Elysia said walking to the bathroom. She stopped turned around her fangs clear to see. Anyone care to join me.

Ignatius kissed Morgan holding her. Her breathing calmed. He hugged her. "Good morning, Master." Morgan said brushing her fingers through his long black hair.
"Good morning." He said kissing her neck. How is Barbara?
"Her Mother has recovered. The doctor said a week at least in bed."
"Good to hear. She should stay by her side. If she needs anything she should ask Zarkon." Ignatius said.
"Master, may I ask something?" Morgan asked. "Yes, please do." "You have been." She looked down unsure of her words. "Down lately."
"You and the others keep me sane. A lot is happening right now." Ignatius said touching her cheek.
She sighed with relieve. "We thought we had done something you haven't touched us for days." Morgan said sniffing while wiping away tears.
"No." Ignatius whispered kissing her eyes. "I am the one at fault."
Zarkon book that restaurant at the docks. I am treating my ladies tonight. Bring Barbara with, she needs the distraction."
"Yes, Master." Zarkon walked out of the kitchen.
Luna kissed Morgan then Christie kissed her as well. Ignatius lifted her of the table and seated himself on a chair. "She straddled him. He held her. Her head rested on his shoulder her long blond hair fell to the side. Elysia and Luna brushed her hair with their fingers. Ignatius used his finger caressing patterns on her bare back.
Your special Morgan very special." Ignatius whispered. Ignatius winked at Elysia. Morgan snored softly as she slept. "She has been worrying all this time." Zarkon said.
Maids peered around the door. Ignatius waved for them to come in. "I will take better care of you girls in the future." Ignatius said as he gently rocked Morgan. They seated themselves. Tears fell like pearls to the table. "Elysia tell them to talk to me sooner. I will never look down on you or get angry." Ignatius said feeling like a villain. "You heard the Master girls. He loves us."
He could understand their fear they had no place to go. If he abandoned them, they would have no chance at a decent life. Elves like them could only resort to selling their bodies to earn money. He would not let it come to that. His emotions about Clair had done this to them. He felt like a piece of shit.
Morgan woke two hours later in Ignatius arms. Anderson and his wife prepared lunch for them. She had grown used to the strangeness that was Ignatius's household. Naked women walking around during the day had become normal life for her. She kept her husband in check. Working for Ignatius had done wonders for her family and marriage. Her husband was faithful now. His wondering eyes did not wander anymore.
They ate a lovely meal at the docks. The atmosphere full of laughter and banter. They returned home. Zarkon took Barbara home. Everyone else stayed the night.
Ignatius held Ayla and Cherry's soft snores accompanied the wind outside. Snow fell silently outside. The hearth downstairs a blessing. Cynthia my life has changed for the better. My wish is for you to enjoy your marriage and kids. We deserve a better hand than we were dealt. I love you and always will till the end of time. Nothing else should go wrong he thought before drifting off to sleep.
