Turning point

Reverie sat at Ignatius' table, her blue eyes full of life. "I have found a hidden room in the lighthouse," she said as she ate.

"What's inside?" Ignatius asked, curiosity piqued.

"I don't know. After the cave incident, you know I'm only a girl." Reverie replied, her voice tinged with uncertainty.

Ignatius reached across the table and took her hand. "I know you're a beautiful woman, Reverie. Never forget that."

She stopped eating, her eyes searching his. "Does this mean you won't find me strange or see me as a one-night stand?"

Ignatius took her other hand, his grip reassuring. "Of course not," he said.

Luna, sitting next to the rabbit beast man, chimed in, "He would love to make you one of his wives."

Reverie coughed as milk went down the wrong pipe. Luna rubbed her back. "Are you okay? Please be okay," Luna said, concern etched on her face.

"I'm fine," Reverie managed to say, her voice hoarse.

Elysia walked in, the bell announcing her arrival at the coffee shop. "Reverie!" Elysia called out as she rushed to the rabbit girl's side. She turned her head and kissed her with passion. "Tell me you'll be part of our little family," Elysia said, holding her from behind.

Reverie blinked, her ears twitching as if listening for danger. "I still need to attend the lighthouse," she said softly.

"I have an idea about that," Ignatius said, taking her hand and leading her upstairs. They stood in their kitchen, looking out of the window at the lighthouse. "I will have a platform built that goes all the way to the lighthouse, connecting the small island to it. There will be a roof over it, obviously, for stormy days," Ignatius said, taking her hands in his. "What do you say?"

Reverie looked at the ocean, her mind racing. "Who will pay for all the material and the builders?" she asked. "Magi are expensive to hire, especially for such a project."

Zarkon entered the room, his presence commanding. "That would be me, Miss Reverie."

She turned in surprise. "A butler? You have a butler?" Reverie said, astonished.

"Yes, and I am his handmaid slash first wife," Christie said, walking into the room. "I would love to," she said, staring into Ignatius' eyes.

Zarkon closed the door.

Ignatius rowed the small boat with steady strokes. The water gently lapped against the sides. Reverie, dressed in her new attire, touched her choker with care. Feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. As they reached the jetty. She couldn't contain her eagerness and rushed to her door, unlocking it.

Luna listened at the door. Hearing the faint sounds of cleaning from inside the lighthouse. The door opened, and Reverie invited them in with a warm smile. "Come this way to the basement," she said, taking Elysia's hand and pulling her along.

Ignatius motioned for Luna to follow, and Christie rolled her eyes. "Young girls... she's energized by you, Master," she remarked.

Ignatius grinned. "You are the same after, you know that, right?"

Christie blushed and hurried after Luna. They all gathered in the basement, where Reverie pointed at a seemingly ordinary wall. "This is it," she said, touching a brick that slid into the wall, revealing a hidden door. The room beyond was dark, and the scent of dust filled the air.

Ignatius held out his hand, and the Mystic Orb of Fate appeared, casting a purple light around them. The walls were lined with wooden shelves, filled with ancient scrolls. Elysia picked up a scroll and opened it. "Logs of ships coming and going from Misty Cove," she read aloud.

She dropped the scroll in shock. "What's wrong?" Luna and Reverie asked in unison.

"The dates... this was penned in the age of myth and legend. I don't even recognize a quarter of the races mentioned in these scrolls." Elysia replied, her voice trembling.

Ignatius walked to a shelf on the right and picked up a scroll with a silver clasp. As he loosened the clasp and opened the scroll. Script flowed into his eyes, which glowed with a deep purple light. A golden halo appeared above his head. When the script stopped flowing. The script appeared before him. "Your household has gained eternal youth."

Luna, Elysia, Christie, and Reverie began to glow with a golden light. Becoming transparent for a moment. As the light faded, they stared at Ignatius, their faces now those of twenty-year-old girls.

"You're a young man again," Luna pointed out, astonished.

Luna ripped open her blouse, checking her bust and sighing in relief. "They stayed the same size," she muttered.

They left for Silvi's Coffee Shop to speak to the maids and Ayla. Luna phoned Emma, explaining what had happened. That evening, they sat in silence, looking at each other, trying to comprehend the turn of events.

"How do we explain this to people?" a very young Zarkon asked, breaking the silence.

Ignatius walked through the bustling market hand in hand with Christie. Her radiant smile reflected the warmth of the sun. The market was alive with the chatter of vendors. The vibrant colours of fresh produce, and the enticing aromas of street food.

"I want to find something special for you," Ignatius said, looking down at Christie.

Christie blushed. "You don't need to get me anything, Ignatius. Being with you is enough."

He squeezed her hand. "Nonsense. You deserve the best. Now let's see what we can find."

As they strolled through the market, they were stopped by a woman who looked familiar. She was Evan's neighbour, Mrs. Thompson. A stern yet kind-hearted lady known for her sharp eyes and no-nonsense attitude.

"Good morning, Mrs. Thompson," Ignatius greeted her with a nod.

"Morning, Ignatius. I have something you might find interesting," she replied, lowering her voice. "I saw Evan near the scene of the crime that night. He looked suspicious."

Ignatius's eyes widened. "Are you sure about this? His statement places him miles away."

Mrs. Thompson nodded. "I'm sure. But please, keep this information to yourself for now. I don't want to put my life in danger."

"Thank you, Mrs. Thompson. I'll call on you when we need your testimony," Ignatius said, his voice sincere.

As they continued their walk, they bumped into Regina. She greeted Ignatius, her eyes widening at his youthful appearance, but she was too shy to ask about it.

"Good day, Ignatius, Christie," Regina said, her voice tinged with curiosity.

"Good day, Regina," Ignatius replied, noticing her hesitation. He speculated that the reserved elf race would never inquire about someone's youth. Fearing it might be a curse.

Christie, noticing the silent exchange, whispered to Ignatius. "Your insight into elf culture is impressive. No one has asked about our sudden youth because they're too afraid it might be a curse."

Ignatius nodded, keeping his eyes on Regina. She still believed no one knew she was the thief. As she walked away, she discreetly placed a note in Ignatius's hand. He unfolded it, his eyes widening in surprise as he read:

Help me, please. I will pay any price to live a normal life. You know my identity.

Ignatius held the small piece of paper as spectral flames burned it to ash. Christie took his warm hand. "Master, she needs you."

"We'll have to discuss this with Luna and Elysia," Ignatius said, his mind racing with the implications.

"Zarkon, what do you think?" Ignatius asked.

From Christie's shadow at her feet. Zarkon's voice emerged, "She might be middle-aged, but her thighs are toned, Master."

Ignatius chuckled despite the seriousness of the situation. "Always with the observations, Zarkon."

They continued through the market, their minds preoccupied with the new developments. Ignatius found a beautiful bracelet made of silver and turquoise, which Christie loved. She slipped it onto her wrist, admiring the way it caught the light.

As they made their way back home, Ignatius's thoughts kept drifting back to Regina's plea for help. He knew they had to tread carefully. The consequences of mishandling the situation could be disastrous for everyone involved.

Ignatius and his companions (Luna, Elysia, Gregor, and Christie in her succubus form). Cautiously navigate the dark, winding tunnels beneath Mithrilen City.

They had a lengthy discussion with Emma yesterday after Rowan arrived at the coffee shop. He had revealed that there was a hidden layer underneath Mithrilen City. Emma brought by Zarkon early that evening confirmed Rowan's information.

Emma reads from an old scroll describing the books they were looking for. The evening turns romantic, and Emma stays over for the night meeting Reverie and the seven maids.

Back in the cave, Ignatius stops to listen. Then walk forward the cave slopped down with tunnels leading to the sides. The smell was almost unbearable as they delved deeper into the darkness. An arrow whistled past their head hitting the wall behind them. It is an ambush by a horde of goblins.

Everyone flattens themself against the walls of the cave as more arrows pass through. Ignatius uses Spectral Flame to create a wall of fire. Pushing back the goblins and creating chaos.

Luna Uses her Swift Parrie, deflecting goblin attacks with incredible speed and precision. Helping to gain control of the situation with Elysia fighting beside her.

Elysia utilizes Shadow Step to teleport behind goblin lines. Striking swiftly and disappearing before they can react. She cuts down goblins causing chaos in their ranks.

Gregor with his sabre and Christie in succubus form. Defend Ignatius, with Gregor holding off goblins with his strength and sword skills. Christie uses her supernatural abilities to fend off attackers. Her tail is a deadly reminder of why succubus is counted as one of the most feared demons in the realms.

The battle is fierce and intense, with both sides sustaining heavy injuries. The goblins lose warriors faster than they could rally a good defence.

Ignatius spots a weak point in the goblin formation. He leads a daring charge, turning the tide of the battle. He uses his Eldrich Blast to shoot a path through their middle. Now that their formation fell apart Elysia and Luna pick off the small disorderly groups.

They emerge victorious, but barely. In the aftermath, they discover a hidden cache of documents. Linking Rowan to the Unsealy Court.

The revelation is shocking – Rowan had orchestrated the ambush. Hoping to end Ignatius and his companions to cover his tracks.

After they use healing magic Elysia feeds off Ignatius to heal her wounds. script appear before them stating that they had levelled to level fourteen.

They return to Silvi's coffee shop, where Ignatius is shocked by the revelation. His silence makes everyone nervous as they try to process the betrayal and plan their next steps.
