Henry Mitchell frowned and looked at Sophie Lawrence. Just as he was about to speak, he was interrupted by Jason Lu.

"Teacher, I'm here." Jason Lu stepped forward with his things and walked towards the house.

Sophie Lawrence came to her senses, changed her shoes at the entrance, and then walked into the house.

At that time, Henry Mitchell's mother had already pulled Chloe Morgan to sit on the sofa, chatting and laughing. Looking at the scene in front of her, beneath Sophie Lawrence's calm and composed face, her heart was already as cold as ice.

Henry Mitchell's mother and Chloe Morgan were sitting on the sofa, Henry Mitchell's father and Jason Lu were sitting at the desk on the Balcony, but Sophie Lawrence was nowhere to be seen.

"Sophie, I can handle it here. You go outside and play with Henry and the others." Ella said to Sophie Lawrence, who was squatting on the ground and picking vegetables.

Sophie Lawrence looked up at Ella, forced a smile at the corner of her mouth, and shook her head: "It's okay, Ella. I'll help you here."

Seeing that Sophie Lawrence said so, Ella couldn't persuade her any more and had to turn around and continue cutting her vegetables.

In the Living Room, the two groups of people were having a very pleasant conversation. Henry Mitchell sat on the single - person sofa and turned on the television.

"Auntie, Henry is very good at medicine. He cured my leg." Chloe Morgan took Henry Mitchell's mother's arm and said coquettishly.

Henry Mitchell's mother turned to look at her son, her face full of pride.

"If you encounter any problems in the future, just come to him. If he doesn't help you, you can tell me, and I'll teach him a lesson for you."

Chloe Morgan nodded vigorously, with a hint of shyness in her eyes: "Thank you, Auntie. Henry has actually been taking good care of me all the time."

Henry Mitchell's father and Jason Lu suddenly left the Balcony and returned to the Living Room, interrupting the conversation between Henry Mitchell's mother and Chloe Morgan.

Henry Mitchell's father looked at Henry Mitchell and asked, "Where is Sophie?"

Henry Mitchell pointed to the Kitchen: "She is helping Ella inside."

Henry Mitchell's father gave Henry Mitchell an angry glare: "Be nicer to Sophie."

Hearing Henry Mitchell's father's words, Chloe Morgan's face became stiff for a moment. Henry Mitchell's mother had already been coaxed by her. Judging from Henry Mitchell's father's attitude, it seemed that he liked Sophie Lawrence quite a bit.

Henry Mitchell's father walked to the kitchen door. When he saw Sophie Lawrence inside, he immediately smiled: "Sophie."

Henry Mitchell's father sat aside, watching Jason Lu and Sophie Lawrence play chess. Sophie Lawrence had loved playing chess since she was a child. In the past, every time she came back, she would play several games of chess with Henry Mitchell's father.
