Copycat

Ling Yu leaped in the air, her movement skilled and sharp. Right after the Leader pushed her off, Ling Yu jumped forward without wasting any time, targeting his vital spot to insta kill in one go. However, the other's who saw their leader get pushed off by a mere weak girl were in awe, a few of them were stunned when the others went to action, preventing her from attacking him first.

"Get out of my way, or die." 

Ling Yu didn't spare any of them, cutting through each one as if chopping vegetables. Soon, she got out of the defense line as she cut off the tendons of his leg, making him crippled in an instant, he was already in his knees because he couldn't move or run to anywhere as she smiled at him, "So, still want my secret to special skill, Mr. Assassin?"

He grit his teeth in disbelief and frustration, how was it possible for him to fail so miserably? There is no way he could have lost, no, was it this?

He was confident he could kill this girl easily and return, but she knew from the start that they wouldn't be able to do anything to her?

Looking up at Ling Yu, everything was clear as day.

From the start, he had no chance to win, she deceived them!

His silence was starting to get boring, so Ling Yu grabbed a fistful of his hair, bending him backward and smiling like an innocent demon, "Since you don't have any use to me now, guess I can use you to experiment some things."

"There is no information you can get from me, I—" He wasn't able to end his sentence when he discovered his voice stopped.

The thin trace of blood came out in a fine thin line, and his body fell backwards, slowly forming a pull of blood beneath.

"No thank you, Mr. Assassin. I already have all the information I need. Even more than what you can get me." 

In less than half an hour, the entire place was filled with dead bodies and blood. Ling Yu had no intention to drag those bodies somewhere, but it would be a problem if someone were to discover it and kick out a fuss. 

"Before that, hmm, let's take a look at what skills this Mr. Leader had!" Ling Yu's eyes glinted as she crouched down by the man in black and put her hand over his head. 

How natural her movements were to prove that she did it countless times, in the dungeons where her party members died, she always took care of them in this way.

Since no one still discovered the system's existence nor can they use the powers this way, she can do things in her favor freely, but Ling Yu always restrained her abilities just enough so she wouldn't become too greedy.

She mumbled the key word [Appraise], and a glow of light coming out from between her hand and the man's head filled the air. 

Just as how the light came out all of a sudden, it subsided quickly. But a bunch of cards were floating around in the air, that looked like tarot cards used for divination.

Ling Yu saw the familiar scene once again, but she wasn't surprised or panicked, because the cards were only displayed to her. Even if any person passed through this area, they can't see these floating cards.

"Ugh! This again!" A frustrated tone came out of her throat as Ling Yu furrowed her eyebrows.

There were three different colors of cards that showed his skills, bronze, silver and gold. From the looks of it, the gold cards were of great strength and supreme power that he would've obtained if he were alive. And the bronze cards are the least useful ones. But Ling Yu couldn't tell exactly what was written on them or what skills they were, because these cards always faced backwards from her. She had to rely on luck and grab one of them to use.

"Hmm, I should still use it to see if it works." Ling Yu mumbled as she took a deep breath, prepared to take on another man's burden.

Ling Yu grabbed one of the golden cards flying in a circle with other cards, it seems that this is the only card that was glowing more than the other ones, which means this is the most useful skill she can copy.

That's right, the skill was to copy, not to take away or steal.

Ling Yu's [Copycat] skill has always been quite useful, aside from its only weakness, which was that the target must be dead for her to use this skill.

At first, Ling Yu was reluctant to use this skill, but all the gruesome experience she went past made her come to her senses. 

Even so, she didn't like using her skills until there was an absolute reason.

Ling Yu smiled as she patted the man's cold body, "I'll make sure to use it with morals, don't worry. I hope you get a warm welcome in hell!"

"Let's see what I can do…" As Ling Yu thought, she didn't want to pollute her subspace with dead bodies, so she took care of them in a swift way.
