Chapter 55

Ethan turned to see if anyone was watching us or listening. Then he said to me, "Haven't you heard that he's going to run for the next youth president?"

I shook my head, surprised to hear that. "How is that possible? What does he want to do with that?"

"That's called politics. This is his way of having access to other big businessmen like him," he said to me, and I was really surprised to find out now.

"Cassie's dad will be the one helping him," he added.

So that was why he left me alone? I thought to myself.

"So, what do you intend to do now?" he asked me.

I shrugged. "I plan on disgracing him during his campaign. I know how much this means to him, and I'm going to execute that," Ethan said.

Now I feel so bad about this. I don't know why I feel this way. This is what I wanted from the start, so why was I feeling so bad about it now?

"And when do you intend to do this?" I asked.
