Patricia's POV
Things had been smooth over the past couple of days. Liam fought tooth and nail to not let me follow him to one of his warehouses but I fought right back.
As always, I won and escorted him days after the hotel incident. That night, I put Liam to sleep as he refused to stop talking about how heartbroken he was. It was irritating, although there were moments where I found it amusing.
Days after, I was in a scary warehouse with Liam. Andrew had been thoroughly beaten. My hands flew to my mouth to cover it and stifle a gasp as my eyes shot daggers at Liam. Why did he beat him up this much? He was practically close to his death at this point.
"In my defense, I didn't want to bring you here but you must have it your way all the time, isn't that correct?"
"Who are you, Liam Collowway? If you don't tell me, I'll run a background check on you." I eyed him suspiciously, still shocked by what he did.
