Patricia's POV
The air in my office was unnecessarily thick and uncomfortable. Quinn sat directly opposite me while I made myself comfortable behind my desk. I still couldn't believe she had the guts to show up here to spite me. Did Henry send her? I wouldn't be surprised.
She dropped the bouquet of flowers on my desk and I eyed it so much that I couldn't wait for her to leave so I could throw it away. I hated it, but I hated her even more.
I wore my smile like it was my best outfit and like I was truly excited to be there with her.
"To what do I owe this pleasure?" I asked with a smile.
"Miss Lynn," She stressed on the first word to remind me that I was single and it made me laugh.
"I'm so glad you've been able to move on from my husband. You look so pretty now and radiant."
"It was nothing. It was like a walkover for me in fact." I replied to spite her back. She got the message and nodded like she was taking my words in.
