Killer in the shadows

Mehwish's voice echoed through the phone as she called Rania from the hospital. "Rania, I need your help. I received a call from an unknown number, asking me to solve a case. They need a directive, and I immediately thought of you." 📞

Rania's curiosity was piqued. "What makes you think I'm the right person for the job, Mehwish?"

Mehwish's tone was persuasive. "You're a directive, Rania. That's all that matters. Besides, I know you've left your old life behind and started anew as a wedding organizer after your dad's passing. But I need your skills now. Please, Rania, come with me." 🙏

Rahil's voice was laced with urgency as he spoke to Danish. "We need to find Robin's killer ASAP. If I'm right, he'll target my loved ones next. Be careful, Danish." ⚠️

Danish's expression was grim. "The police are stumped, Rahil. They say there are no leads, and they're considering closing the case."

Rahil's jaw clenched. "We'll solve this case ourselves, then. Let the police close it."

Danish nodded. "I've hired some experts to help us. A doctor, a police inspector named Javed, and a detective. Don't worry, they're trustworthy. Meet me at my lab tomorrow at 10:00 AM. The password is 1920. Come alone." 🕵️‍♂️

Rahil arrived at the lab at 10:10, where Danish greeted him. "Meet our team members first," Danish said, gesturing to Mehwish and Rania.

Rahil's eyes widened in shock. "What are these girls doing here?" he asked Danish.

"Calm down, Rahil," Danish replied. "Mehwish and Rania will help us solve this case. Mehwish is a doctor, and Rania is a detective. You know Javed, our police inspector."

Rahil briefed the team on the case. Rania frowned. "Whoever is committing these murders wants to kill a specific person. And that person is a girl. But why?"

Rahil shook his head. "I don't know. But I think it's possible that the killer is trying to confuse us by using a girl as a decoy."

Danish spoke up. "The killer knows that Rahil is handling the case."

Javed nodded. "We're all working on this case together. So why is Rahil the only target?"

Rania asked, "If the killer wants to kill Rahil, why did they try to kill Danish?"

Rahil's expression turned grim. "First, they want to kill my loved ones and torture me. Then, they'll kill me. And Danish is my best friend."

Javed said, "To catch the killer, we'll have to put Danish at risk."

Rahil disagreed. "No, we need to find another way."

Danish stood up. "I'm ready to take the risk."

Rania suggested, "We need a solid plan."

Javed nodded. "If we send Danish out alone, the killer will suspect something. We need to make it look like Danish and Mehwish are a couple. We'll keep an eye on them through cameras 📸. As soon as something goes wrong, we'll be there.

Rania spoke up, "This plan might not work. We need a Plan B."

Rahil nodded. "What's that?"

Rania explained, "If the killer attacks Danish or Mehwish, we'll give them darts to defend themselves. The darts will weaken the killer, but if he escapes, we'll need to chase him to a place where he'll get trapped." 🏃‍♂️

Mehwish asked, "But how will we know where he'll attack?"

Rania replied, "We'll send Danish and Mehwish to three locations: Safari Shopping 🛒🛍️ Mall, which has a cinema and a restaurant. We'll keep an eye on them and fix one location."

Rahil added, "The mall, cinema, and restaurant are close to each other, with a deserted road 🚶‍♂️ in between. If the killer takes that road, he'll hit a dead end 🧱."

Danish asked, "But how will we get him to take that road?"

Rania explained, "The cinema, mall, and restaurant each have two entrances. If the killer attacks at the cinema, Javed will block the other road with his gun, forcing the killer to take the deserted road. If the attack happens at the mall, I'll block the other road. If it's at the restaurant, Rahil will lead the killer to the deserted road." 🗺️

Rahil concluded, "Alright, this is the plan. We'll meet here tomorrow at 3:00. Everyone, go home and get some rest." 🌃

The team nodded in agreement and dispersed.
