Chapter 5

When the realization finally hit him, he forcefully pushed Sienna away.

"This is all because of you! If it weren't for that stupid potion, Lianna would still be alive!"

"You're to blame for deceiving me when I lost my memories, pretending to be Lianna. How could you be so heartless and despicable?!"

"Why did I rescue you? Why couldn't it have been you who perished instead?!"

The impact of his shove sent Sienna tumbling to the ground, her head colliding with the table's edge. Blood seeped from the wound, forming a small puddle at her feet.

Despite the injury, she appeared almost unfeeling. Instead, she crawled towards Henry, her face ashen and pleading.

Sienna wept uncontrollably. "No, Henry, you've got it wrong. I did it because I care for you so deeply. That's why I impersonated her."

"I made a mistake..." she whispered.

But Henry seemed to have an epiphany. He paused briefly, then hastily removed his IV and bolted from the hospital.
