After Elysia's death and the collapse of the North Summit, Dante and his team had safely left the mountains. The leader of the Brotherhood of Shadows had been destroyed, but there was a deep unease within Dante.
Kaelene spoke, breaking the silence. "Dante, we did it. The Brotherhood of Shadows is no longer a threat. But you're still thoughtful."
Dante spoke, looking off into the distance. "Elysia wasn't just a leader. She represented the Brotherhood of Shadows' ideology. Her death does not mean the end of that ideology."
Ryker added as he checked his computer. "Dante is right. Some former Brotherhood of Shadows members may still be active. They may even be looking for a new leader."
Kaelene smiled, placing her sword across her back. "If they come back, we'll be here. But for now, we deserve to rest for a while."

Threats Lingering in the Shadows
A few weeks after Elysia's death, a period of peace seemed to have begun in the world. However, a message Dante received one day from an old friend changed everything.
The message was short and to the point:
"Dante, the Brotherhood of Shadows is not over. A greater threat is rising. Contact me."
There was only one name at the bottom of the message: "Lucian."
Dante took a deep breath when he saw that name. Lucian was a former member of the Brotherhood of Shadows and a big part of Dante's past. Years ago, Lucian's betrayal was one of the reasons Dante declared war on the Brotherhood of Shadows.
Ryker spoke, analysing the message. "This could be a trap. You can't trust Lucian."
Kaelene added, looking at Dante. "But on the other hand, we can't ignore it. If Lucian is telling the truth, the roots of the Brotherhood of Shadows may run deeper than we think."
Dante silently made his decision. "We'll get to Lucian. If this is a trap, I will face him. If he's telling the truth, I'll do whatever it takes to end this war."

Confronting Lucian
When Dante and his team reached the coordinates Lucian had given them, they met among the ruins of an ancient temple. Lucian was waiting for them under a dark cloak, looking more powerful than ever.
Lucian spoke calmly. "Dante. My old friend. It is an honour to see you again."
Dante responded, weapons at the ready. "If you have something to say, Lucian, say it. If this is a trap, you won't get away this time."
Lucian smiled. "A trap? No, Dante. I came to give you a warning. Elysia was just the tip of the iceberg. The true leader of the Brotherhood of Shadows never revealed himself. His name is Oblivion, and he is about to unleash a power that will change this world forever."
Kaelene asked in surprise. "Oblivion? That sounds more like a legend than a name."
Lucian added solemnly. "No. Oblivion is real. And its power is far greater than Elysia. If we don't stop it, it will plunge the world into darkness."
Dante moved closer to Lucian and looked him in the eye. "I think he might be telling the truth this time. But you betrayed me once, Lucian. It won't be easy to trust you again."
Lucian bowed his head. "You don't have to trust me, Dante. But if we don't work together, there will be no winners in this war."

A New Threat: Oblivion
As Dante and his team prepared for a new journey based on Lucian's information, they gathered their forces to face this new threat rising from the remnants of the Brotherhood of Shadows.
What Oblivion was, how powerful it was, and how far Dante would have to go in this battle remained a mystery. But Dante was ready for this battle, once again armed with his pistols.
"One enemy ends, another begins. But I am here."
