Chapter 16: Dark Lurk
While tracking Zephyr, the team received news that they had found him in an old, abandoned settlement known as the Black City. The Black City had been a haven for underground warriors, sorcerers, and assassins. It was a place of darkness where only the strongest survived.

Gateway: Bloody Arena
When the team arrived in the city, they came across an arena in front of the gates. In order to enter the city, they had to win the arena fight. Dante watched his opponents, checking his pistols.
Lucian looked at Dante with a mocking smile. "Come on, show yourself. Maybe we can have some fun."
Kaelene spoke seriously. "This is not just a game. If we can't win here, we can't go after Zephyr."
Dante stepped into the arena with a confident expression. "This will be a warm-up for me."

Arena Battle
The arena was filled with a noisy crowd. Dante's opponents were deadly warriors with different abilities. His first opponent was a gladiator wielding a giant hammer. Dante easily avoided his opponent's powerful but slow attacks.
At one point, Dante jumped up and fired both of his pistols at once, knocking the gladiator to the ground. While the crowd cheered, a new opponent arrived: a magic-enhanced assassin wielding multiple swords.
Dante had a hard time keeping up with his opponent's speed. However, with his intelligence, he caught the right moment by predicting his opponent's movements. He muttered, "Jackpot," and neutralized his opponent with a single shot.
With the Arena victory, the team gained entry to the Dark City.

Dark City: Shadow Merchants
A dark atmosphere and despair greeted them as they entered the city. People averted their eyes, whispered things in the shadows. Dante advanced, ready to use his weapons at any moment.
Kaelene tried to get information from a magic merchant in the center of the city. The merchant told them that dark magic relics were hidden deep in the city and that Zephyr had come here to collect them.
Lucian turned to Dante. "This proves that he is part of a grand plan. If the relics are combined, the power of Oblivion can be reborn."
As Ryker tried to locate the relics with his devices, he realized that a trap had been set. "They are watching us. We must move quickly."

New Enemy: Black Knights
As the team advanced deeper into the city, they were ambushed by Zephyr's personal guards, the Black Knights. These warriors were equipped with heavy armor and deadly weapons.
The Black Knights surrounded Dante and his team. During the first attack, Kaelene protected the team by creating a magical shield. "These are no ordinary enemies! Be careful!"
Dante targeted one of the Black Knights. "These are wearing heavy armor. We must move quickly." He fired his pistols one after another, knocking one out.
Lucian slipped through the shadows behind a Dark Knight and neutralized him with his dagger. "They're still not faster than us."
Ryker threw an explosive device from a distance, taking out most of the enemies. "Let's finish this!"
At the end of the battle, the Dark Knights retreated. However, one left a message at the last moment:
"Zephyr awaits you. But first, you must kneel before the Dark Lord."

An Unexpected Twist: The Dark Lord
After the Dark Knight's words, the team sensed the presence of a greater threat than just Zephyr. Someone called the "Dark Lord" was controlling Zephyr and the others. This was a harbinger of darkness that could surpass Oblivion's power.
Kaelene spoke with fear. "If the Dark Lord is truly alive, a fate worse than Oblivion may await this world."
Dante replied, keeping his cool. "Anyone who is, when they come before me, they're finished. Let's move on."
