Alan stands frozen in front of the glass doors, his tall and subtly menacing figure casting a shadow as he holds his gun loosely at his side, staring softly into the mirror.
For a moment, the tension is unbearable.
Mina, hiding behind the glass, is holding her breath, her entire body stiff and cold as her hands are clasped tightly in Queen's. She watches as Alan lifts the gun slowly, her heart pounding in her chest, thinking this is it…He's seen her, and there's no escape, especially since he has a gun to cajole her unwillingly.
She is getting kidnapped.
But instead of aiming it at the door or firing, Alan does something completely unexpected.
He brings the gun up to his head, specifically to his hairline and uses it to push his stray strands of hair back into place, casually rearranging the strands as though the chaos around him, one that he is the reason behind, is nothing more than a minor inconvenience in a public place.
