While we chatted in the cafe I searched the internet for more flower shops. But I only found one more, in downtown. We walked back to the car and I told Travis where the shop was but he and Audrey both refused to go downtown. We went to some other store before going home but I couldn't convince them to go downtown. I got everything I needed except my cactus soil.
"NO. You don't need anything from downtown. We'll find your soil somewhere else. It's too dangerous downtown." Travis said, pulling into the driveway. They helped me carry my stuff in the house. I noticed the others were back. "It's fine whatever I'll deal with it. Let me put my stuff up and I'll cook dinner" I slammed my bedroom door. I started putting my stuff up and trying to calm down but I was furious. It's just downtown, how can it be dangerous? I was so furious I didn't realize someone was using my shower. I had bought some new body wash and shampoo.
I opened the bathroom door to put my stuff up and there stood Killian, in just a towel. The bathroom was full of cinnamon spice. I watched a drop of water fall from his hair onto his shoulder and down his chest to his abs just to meet his waist. "Um Dollface? Can I help you?" He asked. I swallowed and set my things on the counter. "...I don't think that would be wise.." I shrieked and turned to run out the room.
I ran to the kitchen and grabbed the bottle of vodka under the cabinet. I turned it up and it bubbled. "WWOOo We're not going to the hospital tonight man." Jackson said, grabbing it from me. I let it go willingly and said "I'm good, it takes more than that to take me out… Now are there any food allergies I need to know about?" "Jax is allergic to shellfish, but there shouldn't be anything here with that. Em doesn't eat onions and Killian is allergic to carmel." Audrey states. I spun around real quick, nearly hitting Jackson. "WHAT!?" I yelled "Hey no yelling my ears are still ringing from dealing with idiots." Killian says walking into the room shirtless. He had the first aid-kit and a shirt in his hands.
He sat at the bar and looked at Jackson, who's still holding the vodka bottle. "You switching teams?" Killian asked, grabbing the bottle. "Never. Sweet cheeks over here was bubbling." Jackson said, pointing at me. I shrugged at Killian then pointed at him seriously and said, "You can't eat carmel?" Killian lifted an eyebrow and said, "No." "How do you survive?" I asked, rather concerned. He chuckled and said "Rather easily actually. Now I was thinking we could order in. let you try our famous Sissta's Pizza." " Why order in when you can make homemade pizza in less time?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Simple I need you to clean my wound again and you can't do that and cook." He said opening the first aid kit. I sighed as I walked around the bar to him. "Well I couldv…" Mabel started to say. "YOU Can order the pizza SISTER." Killian stated sternly. "YEAH YEAH Don't get your panties in a wod." she said, going to sit on the couch. "If you need to use my laptop you can." I said, as I cleaned Killian's wound.
"Well duh!" Mabel laughed. The others circled around my laptop placing the pizza order without paying Killian and I any attention. "I believe the shower helped a lot, whatever running around you did before maybe not so much." I smiled. "Oh Is that your professional conclusion?" Killian asked. playing with a loose strand of my hair. "Of course, I am obviously always professional." I giggled, finishing wrapping him and cleaning up. *RING* *RING* *RING* I cut my eyes at my phone.
"It might be your mom ready to come back from the hospital." Killian said. But when I looked at my phone It was my dad. I answered the phone. " You have some nerve calling me Craig." I spit. The room froze. "Now is that anyway to speak to your father?" Craig asked. "What do you want?" I grumbled. "I just wanted to make sure everything was still good for your 18th birthday. I know it's coming up and I just can't wait to give you your present." Craig smirked. I froze. I'd forgotten. It happened so long ago but there's no way he'd go through with it, right? "Your bluffing." I said, as stern as I could manage.
Killian got up and was moving closer to me. "Oh Am I? Are you willing to bet Regina's life on that?" Craig snickered. "...Leave her out of this I'll take care of it…" I said before hanging up. Once the phone disconnected I collapsed. Killian caught me before I hit the ground. "Woo! Who the fuck was that!?" Killian demanded. I started taking deep breaths, closed my eyes and sighed. Then I jumped up and brushed off my shorts. "All good. Thanks for catching me but I'm good." I said turning away from Killian.
"Um Sophia..What kind of pizza do you want?" Mabel asked, trying to change the mood. I leaned over her shoulder looking at the website. "Surprise me. I'm not picky as long as there's no anchovies or pineapples." I answered. Killian stepped out of the room dragging Jackson. "Where's Electric?" Killian whispered, shutting the door behind them. The rest of the group didn't seem to notice them leaving. I sat down with Mabel and Audrey to wait for the pizza.
Travis and Riley sat on the floor in front of us. "You got any movies Soph?" Travis asked. I shrugged saying "Not really. I mean I think mom still has all my kid videos but I don't really watch movies." Riley turned around and raised an eyebrow at me. "Kid Videos?" He questioned. I smiled and got up. "Don't look at me like that. It's nothing weird. I was in gymnastics…cheer… tennis…ran track..karate…ballet…" I explained as I looked through my boxes. "Oh we gotta watch those." Travis smirked. I raised my eyebrow at him and shook my head. "Don't be creepy." I said.
Then I went to the hall and found a box labeled 'Babygirl'. "Found it!" I shrieked. I pulled the box over to the group and sat back on the couch. The boys jumped into the box and threw a movie in. We started watching each movie. Mom had me on camera since I was born so there were a lot. We watched dance recitals, Belt test, gymnastics tournaments, track meeting and tennis matches. We were enjoying ourselves. We even found some of the videos I made with Nina and Jane.
*Knock* *Knock* "PIZZA!!!" We yelled in unison. Before any of us could make it to the door Killian and Jackson walked back in carrying the pizzas. We all got up and grabbed some slices. "What are y'all watching?" Jackson asked. "Our lil Soph is a star." Travis joked. Everyone was settling into their seats as Riley put the next movie in. I was getting a water bottle out of the fridge.
'Oh Phee, it's time to party…' I heard dad's video and my soul left my body as I ninja jumped and yanked it out. "NOPE!!! WE ARE NOT THAT CLOSE. Why is that even in this box!?" I shrieked. I tried to run the video to my room but Travis grabbed me. "Awe come on. I thought we were friends." Travis laughed. "Nope." I said bluntly. Travis just looked at me. I smiled and we all started laughing. He let me go and I jetted to my room and hid the video.
Walking back in the living room I heard 3 year old Jane and I. I grabbed my food and stood at the bar, beside Killain. "Wow, I haven't seen this one in ages." I announced. Jane and I were dressed up for church and we were explaining what we learned in Sunday school. 'And then And then Jeshus took a 3 day nap and everyone was really happy when he woke up!' 3 year old Jane said. 'Everyone's happy when I wake up from my naps too!' 3 year old me said. Killian chuckled. "You were cute as a kid." Killian said. "Yeah man what happened?"' Travis joked. I threw my crust at him..
We all hung out and relaxed watching more videos. Then they put one in that I didn't recognize. I walked closer to the tv to see it better. Then we saw my mom when she was young, like 16 or 17. She was in a red leather jacket with black swirls on it. She was with others with the same jacket. The room froze. I was completely immersed in the video. *Click* Mom stopped the video. "Not for your eyes." She smiled. She was walking out the room when she gave Killian the death stare. "MOooommm!" I started to follow her. Killian stopped me and said "Leave her alone. It's a lame video anyways." I looked at him confused but I dropped it.
