In the kingdom of Aethel, ruled by the tyrannical King Owen, tradition reigns supreme, often at the cost of humanity. Bound by ancient laws, Owen is forced to make a horrifying choice upon the birth of his twins: to eliminate his newborn daughter, fulfilling a prophecy that foretells doom should twins exist. This sets in motion chain of events that would challenge the very foundation of Aethel.
What happens when ancient prophecies collide with the unpredictable nature of a weakening veil? When the line between tradition and survival blurs, and when the very foundation of Aethel’s existence is threatened? The siblings must confront not only the monstrous abominations beyond the veil but also the dark secrets and terrible choices of their own father, a king whose adherence to tradition has pushed him to the brink of madness. The fate of Aethel hangs in the balance, dependent on the choices of four siblings – each grappling with their unique powers, their familial bonds, and the terrible weight of a world teetering on the precipice of chaos.
Story is well written, and has quite a bit of future potential. Just remember this though, if you yourself, enjoy writing your stories, then that is the one thing that should matter the most more then anything else. Sometimes, it is not about any sort of money or payment, but should in fact, always be about enjoying sharing your work with your viewers and fans. And that, should always take priority, because if your fans and viewers enjoy reading your work, as well as potential future generations, then that is the one thing, that should matter more to you then anything else. For you see, people are more concerned in living in the here and now. While people me, we like to have a more, long game in mind. Now, don't take this as some sort of negative by any means, I am just saying, that if we want future generations to enjoy this world, then we have to be willing to protect what we love, in an effort to do our best to better our future.

I liked the book because the story is well written and there is a lot of creativity at the time of writing it. Personally, I like this type of story. This novel has suspense, which adds more intrigue. I recommend the novels if you like those genres.
