What if you woke up inside the world of your friend’s novel—only to realize you weren’t the hero?
Terumi Kuro was perfectly fine with his average life. Average grades, average looks, average everything.
The only thing not so average? His secretly talented upperclassman, Sayuki Mizuno—a webnovel author whose work has gained a reasonable amount of following since its release.
Life was pretty much predictable until Sayuki mysteriously vanishes without a trace.
Two weeks after she vanished, Terumi gets transported into her novel’s world and no, he's not the overpowered protagonist or a first rate villain—he's a background character... An Extra.
You know, the kind that dies before anyone even remembers their name?
Armed with nothing but his knowledge of future events and a suspicious text from Sayuki.
Terumi has to navigate a world of magic, technology, danger, and slightly overpowered main characters.
Oh, and did i mention he’s stuck attending the same academy where everyone’s so busy stoping bad guys and dealing with politics they barely notice their cafeteria food sucks?
"If there’s one thing worse than being trapped in a novel, it’s realizing the author might be as clueless of the situation as you are" ~ Kiel Selfort.

This is my very first attempt at writing a novel and i dont know if it'll be any good.
What I do know is it’s got magic, techology, snark, and just enough plot to keep you wondering if I have any idea what I’m doing (spoiler: I don’t).
If you're in for a story that is focused on character building then this is for you. At times i find it funny while at times serious. At the time of this review, the author has only posted six chapters and so far it's been good. Overall it's a great read. Already in my library.
So far the book has been going great. The way the book emphasizes on it's characters makes us, the readers, closer to them and be able to relate better, which greatly improves the book. It's a great read, just hoping the author puts more details into the settings.
This story heavily focuses on characters, something I am big fan of. If you have read any light novels, there is a heavy inspiration drawn from the reincarnated into a book genre. Such as I am the villainess, but it has it's own spin on it. The story makes heavy use of dialogue. I think this is almost always better than the opposite, but sometimes it is difficult to tell the setting of the events taking place because of it. Most of the imagery is left up to reader. All in all, worth the read.
Need more chapters. The story has a good start. Need more chapters
If you have a pet, can you be a snake turtle or what was that animal? It was part of the four Chinese animals you know the Chinese animals that white tiger dragon Phoenix it was like a combine of a turtle and a snake and wrapped around that turtle shell if you guys a pet make sure he has that one.
First, I like the author's writing style. The narrator's voice has a balance of humor and sobriety. Also it's fast paced and every chapter has a twist that will keep you turning your pages for more! Good job, author-san! And good luck Terumi on living the "Extra" life! More chapters to come!
Reading and fell in love with the characters, especially the MC -Terumi Kuro, he's quirky and funny, tsundere (just a cutesy bit). This is heavily light novel prose, which is quite a fresh in Webnovel demographic in general. The author went to quite a great length with the character interactions, which I pretty much enjoyed. The dialog and joke came so naturally. I felt like they were really alive, even sentient, Hehe. For those they loved the action/magic, reading till chapter 5! This is where those began to shine. And then stories are getting more intense and ultimately more FUN! Please give it a read if you love slice-of-life, slow burn, emotional depth, and MC driven plotline!
