Void Spawns are monstrous entities born from the Abyss— an otherworldly dimension filled with endless darkness and chaos.

They are a manifestation of the Abyss's unrelenting hunger, spilling into the world to consume and destroy.

Recognized as one of the greatest threats to humanity, these creatures bring with them fear, corruption, and devastation— all these were according to the study of scholars and scientists in the worlds academic cities.

Physical Appearance:

Void Spawns exude an aura of dread with their grotesque and ever-changing forms.

Most Spawn looks as though it was shaped by nightmares— as if reality itself struggled to contain their existence.

Core:

At their center lies a glowing core, typically black with streaks of crimson, blue, or violet energy pulsating within— these colors signify ranks which will be touched below.

This core is believed to be the source of their life and power, but it's heavily protected by layers of dense mana— hence why even though everyone in this world possess mana they can't defeat Void Spawns easily unless they have a Sigil and can utilize it.

Destroying a Spawns core will kill it.

Body:

Most of their bodies are a chaotic mix of black flesh and jagged, bone-like armor.

Some have elongated limbs ending in talons, while others have long tendrils or jagged wings.

Their forms vary depending on their rank, with higher-tier Void Spawns taking on larger and more terrifying shapes.

Behavior:

Void Spawns are relentless predators, driven by a singular desire to consume everything in their path.

While most operate on primal instinct, some of the more advanced Spawns display a disturbing level of intelligence, coordinating their movements and even setting traps for their prey.

Some could even speak but those were very rare.

Hunting:

They seek out areas of high energy, such as mana-rich zones, magical artifacts, or densely populated areas.

Corruption:

Wherever a Void Spawn treads, the land begins to decay. Plants rot, animals mutate into grotesque forms, and the air becomes thick with oppressive mana— hence why cities have their army or hired hunters clear them out when they appear.

Void Spawn Ranks

Void Spawns are classified by their power levels and sometimes core color, with each rank representing a greater level of danger.

1. Lesser Void Spawns (D-Rank): Core color Green.

Small, quick, and relatively weak. These Spawns hunt in packs and are often encountered by novice fighters— they are very easy to defeat even for the most inexperienced.

Size: Roughly the size of a large dog.

Common Abilities: Enhanced speed, sharp claws, and minor regeneration.

Rare abilities: Human Speech.

2. Void Beast (C-Rank): Core color Blue

Larger and more powerful, these creatures can take on groups of inexperienced fighters alone.

Size: Comparable to a small car.

Abilities: Everything D-Rank can do plus.

Stronger physical attacks, and moderate intelligence.

Rare abilities: Human speech and magic usage.

3. Void Fiend (B-Rank): Core color Purple

Capable of destroying small towns.

Abyssal Fiends are where Void Spawns begin to show true intelligence.

Size: Roughly the size of a truck.

Abilities: Everything the previous rank can do plus.

Small magic resistance, and area-wide corruption— roughly about 2 feet.

Rare abilities: Human Speech, magic usage.

4. Void Regent (A-Rank):

These Spawns are large-scale threats, requiring entire squads of elite fighters to take down.

Size: Comparable to a two-story building.

Abilities:Everything the previous rank can do plus.

High-speed regeneration and magic usage.

Rare abilities: Human Speech.

5. Void Monarch (S-Rank):

The pinnacle of Void Spawns. These colossal entities are natural disasters in their own right, capable of annihilating entire cities.

Size: Massive, about the size of a 4 story building upwards — The Mountains Wrath was a disaster taller than a large mountain which destroyed the city of Silna Gora.

Abilities: Everything the previous rank can do plus.

Overly extreme durability, devastating magical attacks, an aura of despair that weakens anyone nearby and very high intelligence.

Rare abilities: Human Speech.

Abilities and Combat Style

Void Spawns are inherently linked to the Abyss, and their abilities reflect their chaotic origins.

Abyssal Energy: Their attacks are infused with abyssal energy, a destructive force that seems almost like mana.

Regeneration: Higher-tier Void Spawns heal rapidly, forcing hunters to aim for their cores to ensure a kill.

Adaptive Combat: Higher-tier Spawns can adapt to fighting styles, learning from their opponents and exploiting weaknesses. Ranks A and S.

Corrupting Aura: Prolonged exposure to a Void Spawn's presence causes hallucinations, fatigue, and eventual mental breakdown– this only really affect people without sigils.

Signs of a Void Spawn's Arrival:

When a Void Spawn enters the world, its presence is immediately noticeable.

1. Dimensional Tears: Dark rifts appear in the air, pulsating with energy as the creature emerges.

2. Environmental Decay: The ground cracks, plants rot, and the area becomes unnaturally silent— Ranks A and S

3. Oppressive Atmosphere: Those nearby feel an overwhelming sense of dread, as though the air itself is suffocating them —Rank S

Countermeasures:

Run.

If you can't fight Run.

Unless it's a lesser Void Spawn(D-Rank) then there's nothing to truly worry about if you can use basic fighting techniques.

Taking down a Void Spawn requires precision, teamwork, and specialized tools.

Fighters rely on weapons and abilities capable of destroying their cores and sealing techniques designed to contain their corruption.

However, even with preparation, defeating a high-ranking Void Spawn is a monumental task that often comes at a great cost.

Void Spawns are not just monsters; they are walking disasters, and every encounter with one is a fight for survival.
