Early the next morning, Ozzy's call came through.
"Nash, I heard you're feeling down. Don't think about those upsetting things."
"Let's go out tonight and hang around town. I didn't get to talk to you properly at my wedding yesterday."
"It's settled then. See you tonight."
He hung up without giving me a chance to refuse.
I looked at my phone and chuckled. This Ozzy, after all these years, still had that same impatient streak from college.
That evening, I arrived at the agreed-upon plaza on the pedestrian street, but instead of Ozzy, I saw Serenity wearing a white veil.
As soon as she saw me, Serenity came towards me.
As she walked towards me, several large screens outside the mall suddenly lit up, all displaying my photo with big letters written across them.
"Nash, I love you."
Passersby stopped in their tracks, with some young girls even covering their mouths and squealing.
"Oh my god, how romantic! Who is it? Who is it?"
