Over the next few days, Serenity didn't bother me again, and I enjoyed some peace and quiet.
That was until I saw her again at my college roommate Ozzy's wedding.
As soon as he saw me, Ozzy, who was greeting guests at the door, came over.
"Nash, you finally made it! Serenity's been here for ages. Did you two have a fight?"
"Did you upset her? No worries, I'll help smooth things over with her later."
"Go on in, find your name card. We've got the seating all arranged."
Listening to Ozzy, I was a bit surprised.
Although Serenity and I went to the same university, we were in different majors and different classes.
Ozzy was my roommate, but I hadn't expected Serenity to come to today's wedding.
Well, since she's here, might as well make the best of it.
When I walked into the reception hall, Serenity was already seated, and my place was right next to her.
As soon as I sat down, I felt a burning gaze on me.
But I pretended not to notice, chatting with old classmates around me.
