Chapter 3

On the way, Nathan didn't say another word to me.

The car drove straight to the parking lot of his dorm building.

I followed Nathan upstairs.

After showering, I walked out wearing his hoodie.

Nathan leaned against the window, glancing at my outfit, his voice low: "I'll shower in a bit."

He jerked his chin: "Balcony. Let's have a smoke."

I obediently followed: "Okay."

His dorm room had a faint scent, the same as his laundry detergent, very pleasant.

Remembering how he furrowed his brow when he scolded me earlier, I couldn't help but smile.

It felt like... we'd gotten so much closer.

Nathan walked out toweling his hair, pausing when he saw me sitting on his bed: "I changed the sheets."

"Um... well, I got your sheets wet too..." I pointed at the small damp patch beneath me.

Nathan sighed, as if resigned: "Go dry your hair first. I'll change the sheets."

"Oh."

I obediently went to dry my hair, flashing back to the tips of his ears turning red as he scolded me.

I couldn't help but laugh out loud.

How could this man be so adorable?

Finished drying my hair, I walked out of the bathroom, brushing against his shoulder.

Nathan had already changed to fresh sheets.

"Tired yet?"Nathan pointed to the large bed behind him. "Sleep in my bed."

"What about you?" I asked.

"I'll play games," he replied.

I paused for a moment, feeling a twinge of disappointment.

Nathan had already walked over to his computer desk.

I obediently headed towards the bed, about to lie down.

Nathan sat down in his chair and pulled out his headphones.

The next second, a phone rang.

Nathan answered the call, and my heart suddenly leapt!

Without thinking, I straddled Nathan's lap and covered his mouth with my hand. "Don't speak, deny it quickly!"

Nathan's body stiffened.

My palm was burning hot. Realizing what I'd done, I hastily moved my hand away.

Nathan pressed his reddened lips together, slowly standing up.

We were in an intimate position - me riding him, him looking up at me.

The desire in his eyes became increasingly obvious.

Nathan gripped my waist, his voice husky as he mouthed to me: "He can hear."

I was terribly nervous.

I pressed myself against Nathan's chest, not daring to make a sound.

Nathan squeezed my waist gently and spoke slowly: "She didn't come."

The person on the other end said something inaudible.

Nathan was silent for a moment, his eyes darkening: "What does that have to do with me?""
