Chapter 4

In the next instant.

Nathan hung up the phone and tossed it aside.

He reached through my hoodie and pulled me tightly against him, crushing me in his embrace.

My body trembled, my heart racing so fast it felt like it would leap out of my throat.

Nathan's gaze was so intense it looked like he wanted to devour me whole.

The volcano in my heart seemed to erupt, setting me ablaze and making me shiver, desperate to escape his arms.

But his grip on my waist only tightened.

Then.

Nathan kissed me.

His breath was scorching hot, tinged with the faint scent of cigarettes.

My mind went blank as my shaking hands found their way to his shoulders.

Nathan gripped my waist, his voice hoarse: "Why did you have to fall for him?"

"I..."

"Everything you said before, why couldn't it have been about me?"

"I..."

"Don't say anything."

Nathan kissed me again, his voice trembling: "Please..."

"You don't even know how to kiss properly..." I muttered under my breath, dodging slightly, unable to hide my frustration.

Nathan's body went rigid.

He looked down at me, his gaze growing darker by the second.

In the next moment.

He grabbed my waist and fingers, rendering me completely immobile.

"Mmm..."

The kiss was fierce and relentless.

My body went limp, and I could barely stand.

It felt like my soul was being sucked away, a bittersweet torment.

I don't know how long it lasted.Nathan pulled me closer into his embrace, kissing me deeply.

I couldn't breathe, gently pounding on his chest.

He wouldn't let go.

I decided to go for broke and bit him.

Nathan's breathing instantly became ragged, and he moaned softly into the crook of my neck.

Pleasure coursed through me.

My mind went numb, and my body trembled uncontrollably.

Nathan slowly pulled away, his eyes intense.

"What's wrong..." I asked, my voice shaky, clinging to his shoulders, unwilling to let go.

Nathan stared into my eyes, his ears turning red as he looked away. "I'm going to take a shower."

Desire still smoldered in his gaze.

I stood there dumbfounded, belatedly blushing.

Nathan ruffled my hair. "If you're tired, go to sleep. I'll shower first."

With that, he entered the bathroom.

Soon after, the sound of running water filled the air.

I rolled around on his king-sized bed.

Thinking about how he usually maintained an aloof, chaste demeanor, yet I had just made him lose control.

His kissing was clumsy, not knowing how to breathe.

This man looked tall and handsome.

Turns out he was a total greenhorn!

The more I thought about it, the sweeter it felt. I rolled over with a grin.

My head bumped into something.

I reached out and felt an object under the pillow.

It was cool to the touch and somewhat familiar.

I pulled it out to look.

It was my pearl earring!I blinked, taking a moment to process what I was seeing.

I remembered losing an earring when I visited Alex's dorm before. So Nathan had found it.

He kept it?

The thought of him silently holding onto my little trinket, secretly crushing on me like some kind of weirdo, made my heart melt.

A smile crept onto my face as I couldn't help but roll around on the bed again.

After grinning to myself for a while, I put the earring back where I found it.

Nathan came out after blow-drying his hair, wearing dark blue pajamas.

The collar was a bit tight, giving him an adorable look.

I blinked at him teasingly. "Hey handsome, wanna sleep together?"
