Indeed, Jaxon's grip on my neck left me immobilized.

But the rest of my body was still free to move.

The darkness under the covers shrouded our actions from view.

So I took a bold chance, tracing a path down his abs.

Wherever I touched, his muscles tensed in response.

After a moment's hesitation, I inched lower, my fingertips barely grazing his V-line.

That's when Jaxon had quite a noticeable reaction.

It startled me too.

"You know what, I'll leave you guys alone tonight. Think I'll pull an all-nighter elsewhere," Dashiell said with a knowing tone, his eyes sweeping over Jaxon's bed.

He couldn't help but feel a twinge of disdain.

For all his cool, aloof demeanor towards girls and sky-high popularity, turns out Jaxon wasn't such a paragon of virtue after all.

If Dashiell's hunch was right, Jaxon had a girl hidden under those covers.

Though his imagination ran wild, he chose not to call them out.

He and Jaxon had a decent rapport, for one thing.
